I've enjoyed this place on a few occasions now and decided it was about time I reviewed it! I've been here for both food and drink and it's a great setting for both.
The first time I came, it was to try out the tapas and have a cheeky cocktail while I was at it. It was a beautiful sunny day, so my friend and I sat outside on a cute little table in the evening sun. We order several tapas between us - there was a great deal for 3 tapas, so if I recall correctly, we got 6. The food was really nice. We enjoyed pretty much every little dish that came out, each one very simple but very tasty as well. It's not the most astounding tapas I've ever had in my life - the flavours didn't blow my mind - but I really enjoyed the food nonetheless! It was exactly what we were hoping it would be.
I have also had the pulled pork panini in here and it was absolutely amazing!!! So tasty! It was stuffed full of wonderful melt-in-your-mouth pork and was lathered in some sauce that was to die for. The bread was crispy and then soft inside... the perfect panini! Yum!
The cocktails and mocktails are delicious as well - even better than the food. Mine was very fresh and fruity, perfect for a sunny summer evening.
The interior of this place is literally amazing - the inside stretches all the way back, opening up into a huge space full of different little seating areas all grouped off nicely. With so much room it could absolutely feel as if there was no-one in there or that everything was too open, but the way it's been designed stops this entirely! When I went last it was a quiet weeknight and it still had a great atmosphere because of this. The walls are covered in the most bizarre, but awesome paintings and the seats are comfy. I was very impressed by the layout and the design of this place!
As for costs, it's reasonable - not cheap as chips, not gourmet restaurant, just right there in the normal price-range. I'll be back and I urge you to try it out as well! read more
