I had no background in CrossFit or weightlifting and felt completely new to it all, but they explained the basics clearly, kept things motivating, and often stepped in to correct form so we built the right foundation. That gave me confidence and made the classes something I looked forward to instead of dreaded. Over time, I enjoyed Boot Camp so much that I moved into CrossFit. I'm still a beginner in CrossFit and probably will be for a while but my weight loss has accelerated since making the switch, and I've started feeling stronger, healthier, and more positive overall. So far, I've had classes with seven different coaches plus Brad, the owner, and every one of them has been dedicated, approachable, and engaged. Each coach has their own style, which makes it fun you pick up something new in every session. Brad himself is humble and very committed to building the kind of community that makes people want to keep coming back. The best part of this gym is the great community of coaches n people. It's full of people who push themselves, encourage each other, and make the hard work enjoyable. If you're looking for a place that challenges you but also supports you, CrossFit One World is it. Joining here has been one of the best decisions for my health and well-being.

When it comes to fitness, the ideal way is to begin training slow and then gradually increase in intensity. In Xcel tribe the intensity is all time high irrespective of your level of fitness. You will be out of breath and left with sore muscles. But you may still underplay the body signals as there is just so much energy around in class. End result? You may be harming yourself in long run. So if you plan to join, be sure to listen to your body and not overdo things. She has been exactly what I've wanted and needed to get me to exercising regularly again. She brings all of the equipment needed to work out, and she adjusts the workout to whatever level intensity you need, what you prefer to do (I hate running but found a love for boxing, so we do a lot of the latter), and works to prevent injury as well as avoid areas that are injured. Shoutout to this guy for pushing me beyond my limits and keeping me in check with my diet (even though I still need work). I've been training with Shah for a little over two years. I trained previously with others, but the progress I have made with 2 sessions/ week?! Remarkable. I have an injured shoulder and knee and Shah worked on mobility and strength to get it back in shape. When people think of personal training, you mostly think about strength and endurance, but with Shah you also get physical therapy components & lots of mobility / stretching (which is what we need as we get older). I appreciate him being so patient and creative when it comes to my sessions. He gives you that 1:1 attention as my body highly needs it. Having Shah as my trainer helps my body physically and mentally. It's a nice break from my work/ home life. He pushes me to be more active & somewhat disciplined outside of the gym. So thank you.
