On top of that, customers end up doing part of the work themselves just to eat the bagel, and the bagel was cold too. A few days ago, I asked for no ice, and they only filled the drink to the lower line. This time, this is what a "full price" drink looks like. Most places recommend adding ice because it saves the business money while giving customers less product from store bought without lookin at their ingredients. Thank goodness, You only have to give away one cup Businesses show their true colors when they care more about money than customer service. We were greeted by a warm and welcoming staff. Our food came out fresh and tasty! We've had our experience of ordering gyoza, and this by far has been the best! It wasn't greasy, the filling plump and juicy, and no strong aftertaste (which we have experienced in the past). A true winner. Thank you, for opening your doors to the area! A friend and I decided to give it a try today and I'm so happy we did. My husband wouldn't go with me, saying it wasn't his "cup of tea"- pun intended. I stop there to say that, while there weren't any men eating there today, the menu can certainly satisfy anyone's craving. My husband probably would feel fine eating there if another couple went with us. I know without a doubt he would enjoy the food. My friend and I were seated at a table for two in the 2nd room, which was slightly dimmed from a lighting standpoint which gave it a nice ambiance in the midst of an already quaint atmosphere. Our server came right away and we ordered the Timeless Tea, which she said had a slight fruity taste. You could get it sweet, unsweetened or hot. We both chose iced and unsweetened. It was very tasty. I ordered one of the Tearoom specialties- Chicken Divan, which came with a green salad and Frozen Cherry. You could get any 2 sides if you chose to change them. I was intrigued by the Frozen Cherry salad so I kept the meal as listed. The frozen Cherry was very good- like a cherry gelatin with cream cheese mixed in. It was very good and not too sweet but I ate it as a dessert. The entire meal was great. The chicken divan was very hot and really delicious. I thought it might be very rich but it wasn't. It was full of chicken and broccoli and I couldn't even finish it because the dish was larger than it appeared. Did I mention that it was delicious? My friend ordered the Thursday special- grilled cheese with chips and tomato basil soup. The grilled cheese was different in that it came with bacon, lettuce, tomato and mayonnaise. She got it without the lettuce and tomato and said it was delicious. Our service and overall experience was great and I would definitely recommend this restaurant for a girl lunch or even a couple lunch, if your husband doesn't mind eating in a tea room.
