Our class consisted of people from ALL backgrounds and ages...from novice to experienced and everything in between. Myself being older, highly skilled and experienced, I liked how no question was ever overlooked or undervalued by our instructors vast knowledge from those with less knowledge. The highlight of the 2 day CCL class for me was range qualification. It was relaxed, yet structured and everyone was at ease and safe. As is most things in life, the more you put in...the more you'll get out of the overall experience. Although instructor Don could have droned on and on doing ALL the reading, he wisely chose all the class members to read aloud. This was helpful to the entire class and especially the shy students who would've just sat back letting their classmates carry the class. My experience was quite satisfying and highly productive. Instructors Don and TC are dedicated to teaching students well and it shows in their actions.

He presented the curriculum in a way that made the class flow naturally and kept everyone engaged. He made the material interesting by sharing real-life experiences from both his students and his own life. He also has a great sense of humor, which made the long weekend enjoyable. Thomas thoroughly prepared us with the knowledge necessary to legally conceal and carry in Illinois. He did an excellent job getting us ready for the shooting qualification, including proper holster draws and safe firearm handling. I hadn't shot a firearm in years, and my wife had never shot one before -- yet we both passed. As long as you follow directions and prioritize safety at both the range and in the classroom, anyone can succeed. I researched multiple concealed carry classes in Chicago and the surrounding suburbs, and Alpha Koncepts was by far the highest rated. Thomas has been teaching concealed carry classes since it became legal in Illinois, and his experience shows. If you're serious about taking a concealed carry class, I highly recommend Alpha Koncepts. Thomas is not only a great instructor, but a genuinely great person as well.

I came in expecting to be bored sitting on my phone the entire course but this was not the case. Adam is a great instructor, very informative, detailed and fun. The class was very immersive. Great class for beginner, he goes through all details of scenarios when to and when not to exercise your right to defend yourself with deadly force. He will answer all questions and no judgements are made if you are a complete beginner to firearms. you will qualify on your shooting accuracy during the first day, the range is not far from the class at all. You will qualify at the end of the first day class, everyone will pass with the information taught. I have taken a 16 course 5 years ago and all they showed was boring NRA videos and not much information on when to and when to not use your firearm. Adam spoke the entire course with power slide, it was not boring and you will learn life saving information and also information to prevent putting yourself into trouble with the law. You will Learn basic firearm function, grip, fundamental, maintenance, amongst many other important factors of carrying a firearm. You will Learn the law and updated current laws with conceal carry in IL and where you can carry outside of IL. it was very affordable and worth every penny Spent. Thanks Adam.

Adam is true to form really charismatic, smart and really smart at this,he is courteous, respectful and very helpful especially at the gun range he took everyone individually at the gun range to make sure we passed the shooting range. Adam is very knowledgeable about all kinds of guns you can think of,he can break any gun down and tell you the different parts of the gun, he's funny, encourage everyone to participate in the class,I carry a Glock 43 I found out really quick that not only I didn't know the parts but I have been been cleaning it the wrong way which Adam explained it all.
