Called in for appt, wanted to surprise my husband with tints as well as for me too. Quick fast efficient- gave clear directions and created a since of "doing the right thing" for the customer. Would recommend to a friend or be back with another vehicle in the future

Great place for tint. The ceramic tint is incredibly good. Prices are fair and the employees take good care of your vehicle.

I chose Baltimore Tints since it's close to my home and I thought their…read morepricing was good for ceramic tints. $380 for six windows (front & rear windshield, driver side and passenger side windows). It's $280 if you don't want the front windshield done. Speaking of which, the darkest they'll do for windshield is 45%. For no ceramic I believe it's $180 for five windows, addition $100 for the windshield which is always going to be ceramic regardless of if the rest of the car is ceramic. Not hard to find, wasn't too sure on where to park when I got there. If you knock, I don't believe anyone will answer lol so just walk right in. Okay this is not the place you'll receive the friendliest customer service. They're not mean or rude. Just not the most welcoming. But it's cool I'm here for tints not to make BFFs. I was told three hours but they actually got it done in half the time because an additional associate came in to help at the end of the day so that was great. No one wore mask and there's no waiting area so just keep that in mind. I knew I would be in and out and didn't plan on staying to wait so I was cool. Overall nice job. Tints are still "drying" which they said takes 2-3 weeks. There's a small bubble at the top of my front windshield but it's gradually gone down. They said they'd fix anything if it didn't completely go away at the end of the drying period. They also offer $20 lifetime warranty if you do anything to mess up your tints like scratch it or if your ring hits it.

I appreciated his advice just not his tone. So instead of spending $220, I saved $100. That in person encounter totally contrasted with the phone call I made to set my appointment. The lady who set my appointment didn't mention anything about the windshield and even suggested different shades I could get (as low as 40% but she recommended 70% tint). She was so nice!! She made me feel at ease and honestly I felt very good about making my appointment with them because of her phone manner. So I get there and knock on the door. No one answered so I let myself in. A couple folks (I'm guessing they were part of the family who owns the business) were there, no one wearing masks but hey, I'm not judging, I kept mine on so no biggie. They looked at me for a few beats until the guy who ended up doing my tint acknowledged me. Didn't exactly make me feel welcomed but the lady who ended up taking my keys was decent. She told me some places I could wait in the area. No waiting inside due to COVID-19 so I had to hang around the area. They initially estimated it would take an hour. It took 4 hours. There was only one other car when I got there and I had an 11am appointment, but I arrived at 11:02am. When I called after 2 hrs to check, they said they had gotten busy. How??? I would think anyone else would get done AFTER me. So that didn't add up. Made me wonder how long I waited unnecessarily before they even got started on my car. I wasn't impressed by the customer service, when they finally called me, they said I was done, they let me know what time they normally close but mentioned they wanted to close early. Kind of awkward again but luckily for them, I was only steps away and got there 2 minutes after they called. Once inside, the guy who did my tint made a point to tell me how difficult it was to apply tint to the small triangle windows within my front window. He said it was a pain in the butt actually. He couldn't resist telling me they normally charge for that but they weren't charging. I did thank him but 2 things came to mind: 1. Why when I let them know my vehicle details over the phone did they not know about those windows or when I dropped my car off did they not look it over and call to tell me about the extra charge? I felt the decision not to make me pay was because they took 4 hours to tint 2 front windows. 2. What was the point of mentioning that? It lead me to once again feel awkward and struck me as unprofessional that he felt the need to bring it up. I'd almost rather have paid than to be spoken to like that. When I left, I was so ready to go but as the lady was detailing what I should expect of my windows over the next 2 weeks, I noticed something dark on the passenger window. I mentioned it and she came over and it was on the exterior. It was tape of some sort that she brushed away, casually mentioning the guy who did the job must not have cleaned up after himself. Not the end of the world but just one more thing. I really wanted to love this place. It's a small business, in my community and they had stellar reviews. I am not criticizing their work, they did a fine job and I'm sure my tint will be great when it "smooths" out in the next few days or so. I'm just asking them to try to deliver a consistent, PROFESSIONAL customer experience. The experience that so many other reviews raved about and influenced me to try Baltimore Tint in the first place.

Stay away from this company at all costs! We needed a large window replaced in our home following a…read morehail damage claim with our insurance company. The estimates were coming in too high for the adjuster and he suggested having glass doctor come out and fix it instead of replacing it. Glass doctor said they could handle it, no problem and came to measure two separate days stating that the measurements obtained to provide an estimate were different from the second set of measurements. This was September. They came to install the glass on December 17th citing their need to source the grid pattern in the window as the reason for the extended wait. This wasn't true, they showed up with a piece of glass with no grid anyway. Not a life-changing problem but it wasn't great that it should have been done in the fall, not the dead of winter where the heat of the whole house gets sucked out a massive hole for hours. Turns out they measured incorrectly and tried everything to get the too big glass into the frame (including trying to alter the opening/frame) they got extremely, irrationally angry at us for their measuring error and the fact that they had to reinstall the old glass while they made a new piece. The work was rescheduled for Jan 12 and they showed up BIG MAD from the jump. It was absolutely insane- like we had any control over their mistakes. Whatever, window in, move on. As winter progressed, I felt that something was off with the window because you could feel the cold air. This isn't a window you can access without scaffolding so we had no way to check the seal or anything. I was also irritated that they didn't even bother to clean the glass after installation and damaged our paint on both the interior and exterior of the house. Fast Forward to May 2025. Lots of big storms and strong/sideways rain. Water was coming in through the window, pooling on the drywall ledge, cascading down the wall, and going under the floor. We immediately called glass doctor and were met with hard resistance and complete denial of any responsibility (This was the Friday before Memorial Day) and were told they were closing early that day, and couldn't come out to inspect it until the following Wednesday. We get a text on Tuesday saying that they were now planning to come that day instead. My husband had a work commitment and I had a doctor's appointment so he called and told them it would have to be Wednesday because it was now too late to adjust our schedules to accommodate their last-minute change. Guess who came anyway, without permission, grabbed a ladder, and was up against the side of our house caulking the window to cover his tracks. That's right, Nathan from Glass Doctor with his anger problems on full display (thank God for Ring cameras)! By the time my husband got off his work call, he was already 3/4 of the way around the window, speed-caulking to eliminate the evidence of the problem. He refused to have a reasonable conversation yelling "you're not going to pin this all on me"! He left in a fit of range refusing to provide his insurance information. There has been zero communication or response from Glass Doctor, Nathan, or Glass Doctor Corporate. Tried to find their MHIC info online and it looks like they might not even be registered! Their proposal does not list an MHIC number either (which is illegal based on my understanding). Let this be your warning, do not trust your home to these folks! Our brand new floors had to be pulled up to dry the subfloors and the drywall and insulation pulled out and will need to be replaced. At this point, not even a huge expensive repair for them to be dodging. This whole thing is crazy from start to finish!
