The stylist Maria purposely died my hair brown chemically damaged hair had patches when I win for just heavy highlights all because I had missed an appt with her 2 weeks before that. I tried complaining to the owner Veronica but she threaten me by say her son is a police officer and by the way Veronica and Maria both have carpal tunnel in there hands that's why they have assistance the stylist Maria had mention to me during my first visit. I have also reported them to the better business bureau recommended by my attorney clients that have experience chemical damage and charged for services not received and have been threaten by the owner when I was going to make a report to the police she said go ahead my sons a cop my daughter recorded our conversation because they are not to be trusted I showed the owner a pic of my hair before and after asked her if they looked the same she admitted in our conversation they didn't kept my appt email just in case they tried to say Thts how I wanted it appt was for heavy highlights on roots instead dyed my hair brown god know wht else she and charged 300$ maybe they need money to go Miami like they always brag about or on cruises retire you guys have medical conditions with ur hands should you be actual doing hair? I really didn't care what it looked like--I just didn't want to deal with it. But I was blessed to have the amazing Lucia do the job. This review comes from a long time costumer that has scheduled with Veronica and a couple of times with Maria. Note that this salon won't be the "costumer's satisfaction comes first" type of place, at least they won't care about your needs after a while. They do some stuff to get your trust, through "insight" and by offering you good service *initially,* but that will eventually change no matter what, and you'll start noticing their egocentric and very rude attitudes. Your first consultation will likely start with some psychology trash-talking about your old hairdresser and telling you how "wrong" she was fixing your hair. They'll be offering you something to drink and will use good products to leave your hair soft etc. they'll try to please you to earn some points. Later their "I'm smart and you're stupid" attitude will surface. If you're lucky with Veronica, you'll be averagely happy with her job. Be ready to pay a lot for an average job with a very poor treatment after a couple of visits. Veronica started refusing service to me because I've more than average short hair, and that required for her to actually work to earn the almost $200. The last visits Maria rushed my service and I ended up with an awful color, with patches of different colors and over and very DAMAGED. She topped it off by blaming me and minimizing but still charged big. I don't see how they're so good criticizing one's old hairdresser if eventually they'll offer you poor service in all aspects. The 1 star I'm giving is because I actually liked the products they use (shampoo/conditioner). No one keeps going there after a while. Take your $$ somewhere else where they'll at least be polite. read more

I scheduled for an appointment for mom 2 days ago, and called to confirm that we were on our way the day of the appointment. When we got there, the lady in the front desk told us that we didnt have a schedule and another client of theirs with the same name I had, had made the same exact schedule with the same exact hairdresser we made an appointment with. Went to get my hair done and it was suppose to be a baylage clearly it looks like a mess of highlights and to top it off it was 310 what I payed 175 for "baylage" 95 for color obviously the color faded in one day and 44 for a haircut..MARIA was only going to add a toner to fix it which there was no way it was going to fix the baylage that looks like highlights this place is not professional because they are to cheap to pay back for the mess they did obviously a toner will not fix they think they are professional and can charge this much but look at the mess if u want ur hair to look like this go to Maria! I went here because i had a gift certificate . and i regret ever going. so i had a appointment's with one of the ''color specialist'' i wont mention any names because i don't want to ruin a business.. but this place was horrible any way, i went in to see her and then i found myself moving from chair to chair never had one person doing my hair, they left me under the heat . and they were gossiping and jumping from customer to customer. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL . at the end my hair came out TERRIBLE ! i got simple highlights and then there was spots all over my head . i told the woman i was upset and she came over to me and said '' mija its normal it looks like that, once you come again it'll look better'' I Was MAD. and she just left me there to go work on some one else. my highlights where only 80 $ but i gave them the full certificate of 100 because i never want to go back to them again. i went to another salon the same day and they told me that they left me under the hair dryer too long and did not mix the toner and color correctly. OMG this place is Horrible. i emailed one of the owners of how i was upset . I love the environment and the honesty that these ladies give you. Because of their gentle care with my hair I am able to keep my hair healthy, shiny and able to grow it out to the length that i want without having to worry that the ends are going to break. I use to always get my eyebrows done here by Veronica but the last time I was there Veronica finished waxing my eyebrows and right away I noticed one eyebrow was thinner than the other, when I brought it up I was told that they were fine when obviously one was way thinner then the other. I have been going to Veronica for about a year for Brazilian waxes. Since this is a very personal procedure, I can tell you that professionalism really matters. Veronica is very well trained and has taken classes to make sure her skills are the best to be had in Santa Maria and the 5 cities. The salon as a whole (Veronica is also an owner) is run very well and there are some advantageous uses of technology that have impressed me. I get a reminder on my phone when my appointment is coming up and also I get my receipts for payment on my phone. All in all, I think it's important for you to know that I am comparing the 4 sisters salon waxing treatments to those in Orange County where I previously lived and find them to be of better quality.
