Dalia has such a sweet and professional disposition. I asked a few questions about her process, and she was attentive, engaging, knowledgeable, and receptive to feedback and opinions/desired outcome. One of my favorite things about this establishment aside from Dalia's skill set, was that each person who worked there appeared to be very helpful or supportive of each other. Which not only ensures each client leaves completely satisfied - but experience and skills are being transferred among each other. And that can kind of camaraderie can only improve moral and business. Thank you Dalia and Expressions salon.

It's too short The inspiration was Alice from twighlight (a haircut they said they've done before) and now it looks like I have a really short pixie. I asked for hair that reached my chin and it barely reaches the bottom of my ears. I paid and even tipped because I couldn't bring myself to say that I was devastated. I would love a refund but I'm not counting on it because I've already paid and left. This was supposed to be my birthday haircut because my birthday was on 9/14.

I usually have my hair done by Rosie, and she has always done a great job. Last December, Rosie wasn't available to do my hair, so I was referred to Sarah instead. Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience. I went in for a spiral perm, something I've been getting since I was 13 years old, so I'm very familiar with how my hair normally responds to a perm. After this appointment, my hair was severely overprocessed and damaged. I was also uncomfortable when Sarah made a comment insinuating that I was trying to copy someone else's hairstyle. I have never experienced this kind of damage from having my hair permed before. Months later, I'm still working on getting my hair healthy again, and it has not fully recovered. I'm sharing this because I think it's important to be careful about who you trust with your hair, especially when chemical processing is involved. I can only speak about my own experience, but unfortunately, mine was very disappointing.
