By first generation I mean this room escape uses more locks and simple creations rather than investing in the crazy technology that these newer rooms use. One thing that set this room escape apart from the rest is that it felt like it was fewer puzzles and harder puzzles. My team of 6 worked more together than we usually do. we weren't thrown a ton of relics and random clues for no reason. At other rooms I can make a pile of all the clues and boxes and stuff we have to find. But here the room is almost empty. It really does challenge you to think outside the box. Overall the experience was really fun. We beat it with 8 minutes to spare and we had to use a few clues which in hindsight we didn't need.

The place is not that hard to find if you know what you are looking for. They have their (small) logo posted out in the street so we found it pretty fast. The escape rooms was very fun. It's not as high tech or tech savvy as other escape room but I actually prefer it because you don't have to worry about things being glitchy or not working properly. I also like that there's no fixed amount of hints you will get, the people wants you to enjoy your time so of they see that you are definitely struggling, they will give you hints. The puzzles varies in difficulty, as we solved some faster than others. But overall, it was very entertaining and even though we didn't find the treasure, we had a lot of fun trying. The only thing I thought could improve on is that some of the locks we had to open, didn't really connect to each other, so when you solve one riddle, the clue from that can lead to any of the other riddle, and you will have to try all of them to see which will fit, you won't know which puzzle will open which locks. But that's just me :)

The game host really do provide a great game show experience and the room itself felt big so no one was left feeling squished. There is a good variety of games from trivia based games to physical skill games as well. This would be a great event space for medium to large groups. They also have a small bar so you can get some drinks as well.

It's exactly like being a player on all those game shows, many of us grew up watching like family feud and wheel of fortune, etc. Then they add all of their own unique fun games. With the way they have each room/"set" set up, you really feel like you are on a game show, but to be clear, you are not being recorded and will not actually be on TV. It's such a fun environment to experience and participate in. It would be equally fun with a bunch of friends, as it would be your family, even my family who are in their 70s would love it. And, they do a really great job of making ADA accommodations for those that need it. There was a couple of things I wasn't gonna be able to do, even though physical things are very minimal, they simply let someone else fill in for a small part of that, but I still got to experience the full thing. And I forgot to tell them about my limitations before the event, so I told them in the moment and they quickly adjusted. And happily. The host of the "show/game"did an amazing job, and with enough practice could definitely be in the running for being a host on a live television show. He was very good at what he did and continuing to make it a game show like experience, in addition to the setup, etc I would highly it. At the time I went, which was late September 2026, you just needed a minimum of eight people and it was about $42 each, which is absolutely worth the two hours of great fun you could not have in another way.

It was such a blast-everything in the room is a prop and we even got to do lots of interactive magic with the wand. We did get stuck a few times, but our guide Elina was able to give us hints when we asked the sorting hat nicely. Next we went onto Wizards Chest, which was more difficult but really fun. A good mix of brain teasers and physical games/puzzles. Both rooms are decorated so beautifully and we felt like we were a part of the Harry Potter magic. Elina was so great! She gave us just the right amount of help and set us up for success in both rooms before leaving us to figure it out. We also had a great time doing debriefs with her and she took lovely photos of us. This is the perfect rainy day activity to spice up a date!

The hint screen was prolly one of my favorite ones Ive seen. As a parent on the side- it was a visual jump start for each puzzle. It was linear so made it easy to follow along. Our staff member was very patient, helpful, and welcoming. A couple things were distracting- the background music was way too loud. Made it hard for the puzzles where you had to listen to clues. It also made it hard for us to communicate. I let the employee at end know about this too. There was a puzzle that required fingernails and patience which i felt like was a design flaw and caused us to lose time. I loved the space of the experience though. Was not crammed which I have had in past escape rooms. Wish there was another room that was this level or easier but the other 2 rooms seemed harder so we'll have to try maybe the Bellevue location for more fun. The lobby was really luxe/posh/club loungey and had multiple screens on which would be good for meeting up or a team morale event.

There was absolutely no guidance provided on the ropes course--kids and adults were getting stuck with no one to help. There was a staff member named Jack, but instead of assisting, he seemed more focused on his headphones and made no effort to support us. We literally had to shout to get his attention, and even then, he was unhelpful. This was extremely disappointing, especially for an adventure activity meant for kids, many of whom are new to ropes courses and need proper guidance. Sadly, it wasn't just us--other customers appeared to be having the same frustrating experience. For what is supposed to be a fun and safe adventure, the lack of supervision and support made it absolutely pathetic.
