This is a good place to get a delicious country breakfast. The prices are reasonable. The service is phenomenal.

We went in with two children and two adults. The wait wasn't too bad, but once we sat we never received any service for 15 minutes. During the time we waited to be acknowledged by our server, the table that was sat after us had already gotten their drinks and had their order taken. To make matters worse, our two children were making stacks with the jelly and creamers and having so much fun. The host came by and took down their stacks, threw them back into the bowl and said "do not play with these, that's not nice." She was extremely rude and harsh to our children. She caused them to cry. She told us she would go get them crayons, but never returned. Our server also never came by, so we just left. Hard to give them more than one star when we wasted an hour of our day, never received service, and had the host make our children cry. So no, I do not recommend this restaurant. Probably the worst restaurant experience I've ever had. And the man who asked us why we were leaving just cut us off in the middle of our explanation to curtly tell us to have a good day. So he clearly doesn't care if the guests in his restaurant are treated well. read more

Stopped in for brunch with my hubby and was a little disappointed with our meal after reading all of the reviews. Service was good but the food was just okay. We got the meat lovers omelet and the shrimp and grits. The prices are extremely reasonable and they have a lot of items to choose from but I'm not sure that we will be back again. read more

I can't speak for lunch or dinner, but the breakfast crew at the 4 Corners Diner is top-notch. During our time in Atlantic Beach, we encountered Debbie and Sue and they were the nicest, most customer oriented wait staff on the island. All of the staff appeared to be hustling, including the kitchen folks who had our food prepared quickly. Even the bus boy was on his game, cleaning out our table seconds after we stood up. The staff gets 10 stars. As for the food, my crew experienced scrambled eggs, plain waffles, French toast and western omlets during our visits. Bacon was good but a bit salty...but this didn't stop me from woofing it down. All was cooked properly, with nothing runny or over cooked. I'd give the food 4.5 stars, deducting a half point for price. The restaurant itself was very, old school diner-like in atmosphere. Plenty of tables and they had areas for very large groups and booths that would easily accommodate 6 folks. I'll be back, that's for certain. The price did seem a bit high but in the end, you got well above-average service so it's a wash, in my opinion. read more

Service is a hit or miss here. Some days I come and they are friendly while other days it's clear that they would prefer to be somewhere else. This is a local family owned restaurant and some of the waiters have been working here for over 20 years. This beachside diner is in the perfect location and is the only place that offers breakfast in Atlantic Beach. Their waffles are AMAZING and so are their BLTs. I wouldn't say this place is expensive to eat at, however, they overcharge for the food that is actually given. Super fast service on a Sunday morning. Seated quickly to a clean table. We had fresh coffee, water, and juice on the table in no time. I had the steak and eggs, perfectly cooked medium rare steak and runny eggs. My better half had a cheese omelet, sausage gravy, and we split some pancakes. Everything was fresh prepared, cooked to temp, seasoned well. I can think I'd nothing to detract from our experience. This diner was walking distance from where I stayed at the beach during Labor Day weekend. Looks small from the outside but it is pretty spacious. Definitely an original diner feel inside. The are very organized when it comes to seating, it was quick. I ordered the French toast with strawberries and whip cream and it was delicious. This is your average greasy spoon diner. The breakfast is good and service is pretty quick once you get seated. They get you in and out as quickly as possible. If you go on the weekend you can expect to wait to be seated since they are usually packed. The parking here can be a little tricky since it is slightly limited. read more

My wife's sausage appeared to have been of the quickly microwaveable sort. I had a very thin western omelet made with some sort of pre-made egg pour. Great pricing generous portions. Our son got country ham the owner/manager saw it while he was passing by, he brought out another piece because he didnt like they way it was cooked. It was a little overcooked but nothing we would've sent back. It was eatable. The staff is friendly. One waitress took the time to rinse a baby bottle for a customer, refilled with Milk asking how many ounces. The customer never asked her too, she just took initiative. read more

One of the only places for breakfast at Atlantic Beach and it's very good, but a little on the pricey side. Because it's one of the only breakfast joints on the island, it is insanely busy on weekends so expect to wait for a table and then wait some more for your waitress to show up. But once your order, the food comes out pretty quickly. And the coffee is good. The wait won't stop us from going back the next time we're at Atlantic Beach. read more

Our family has been visiting AB and particularly 4 Corners Diner for over 20 years. We tend to go for breakfast mostly, but yesterday we decided to take advantage of the extended hours and enjoy the hospitality for an unconventional Easter dinner. We had spent the better part of the afternoon on the beach and were plenty hungry by 4:00. There were 7 people in out party and most everyone seemed satisfied with their menu choices. I, however, was not so lucky. I decided to order a traditional hot turkey dinner. I ordered it with mashed potatoes and green beans - two personal faves - and gravy on the side. What I got was chopped turkey lunch meat on soggy white bread ( I did not order a hot turkey sandwich). I had no idea that chopping deli turkey would even be remotely acceptable as a dinner entree. I would have rather been told that the turkey dinner was not available. The mashed potatoes were tasty and plentiful, but had the consistency of boxed flakes. The green beans were almost mush and had been chopped so small the barely resembled their fresh cousins. The gravy was tasty, but not very warm and could have been from a can or jar. I think I learned my lesson about ordering a dinner. I'll stick with breakfast or a sandwich next time we go. read more

Visited Atlantic Beach over Thanksgiving, had breakfast twice at 4 Corners. The place is immaculate and meticulously organized, the staff is incredibly friendly and hardworking and the kitchen really cranks the food out. There is a little blonde waitress there who everyone seems to know and love. ***Try Genes Hot Sauce, it's great on anything from breakfast to tacos to pizza!!! I bought 3 bottles to take home to Philadelphia and am sorry I didn't get more! *** I will certainly visit again. read more

We frequent this place every weekend for breakfast. I really enjoy the omelets and the hot sauce is out of this world!! Be prepared for a wait during the tourist season. I lived in the area for almost 4 years before finally stopping in for lunch one afternoon. Sort of a typical diner, popular with locals. Breakfast all day, lunch and dinner specials and a straight forward menu. Prices are very reasonable, which is rare to find in a restaurant on the beach. I had a shrimp burger, fries and homemade clam chowder -- all for about $7. I will be back, hopefully sitting on a barstool sipping a coffee and reading the paper, because that's what a diner regular does, right? :-) read more

Yikes. I love diners, but this place is a nightmare. First of all, I suppose the ugly additions happened in order to make room because business was booming? Regardless, it once was one of those beloved tin diners & it' a shame they couldn't have worked with that design instead of boarding up around it & making it look generic and cheap. As far as the food was concerned, I ordered a waffle with blueberries. The waitress admitted that the blueberries were actually blueberry pie filling & I would be better off with strawberries because they were fresh. I took her word and when the waffle arrived, the strawberries were shriveled and freezer burnt. I attempted to eat them, but they tasted like the plastic bag they came in. Unfortunately, their juice soaked into my waffle & made it taste like plastic too. DO NOT EAT HERE! The prices are ridiculous because it's a tourist destination & the food is so gross. read more
