3MG was fantastic Charles Jablonski was fantastic in getting me in touch with them. I got a roof replace with a royal blue metal roof. They even worked fantastically with the solar installer I had contracted with originally. It looks great and came in at a better price than what I had been quoted for by other companies. read more

3MG Roofing & Solar - Raised rip roofing so solar can be added with limited penetration through the roof. - Roofing Near Me - Winter Park, Florida

My family's experience with 3MG Roofing has been extremely distressing, and I want other homeowners in Clermont to be aware of what happened to us. We received a quote to replace our roof and took out a loan based on that amount. We also received reassuring text messages from the company stating that they would honor the quoted price. The roof was completed, and at no point before or during the project were we given a change order or warned that we would owe thousands of dollars beyond the agreed-upon amount. Then, three weeks after the roof was completely finished, we were told we owed an additional $7,500, but they would credit us $1000. This unexpected demand has left our family dealing with a serious financial dispute that is now in litigation. The problems didn't end with the cost. The crew left nails scattered throughout our yard. I personally picked up approximately 30 nails. One punctured my car tire and nails also went through both my father's foot and mine. It was a dangerous and unacceptable situation that could have caused even more serious injuries. What makes this experience especially upsetting is that my father has Alzheimer's. I feel our family was put in an incredibly vulnerable position and the way this project was handled has caused us significant stress, financial uncertainty, and unnecessary hardship. Taking advantage of an elderly person who has lived in this home for over 30 years. I am sharing my experience because I do not want other families to go through the same thing. Please do your research, get every agreement in writing, keep all text messages, and insist that any additional charges be documented and communicated before the work is completed. Thier lawyers want the insurance check to take their $7000 fee and we are told to turn the check over to them so 3MG can take their "unforeseen charges" we were made aware of 3 weeks later and then we get the remainder. Which isn't a fraction of the cost of the claim that we were told would cover the roof. I live in downtown Clermont, and I intend to make other homeowners a permanent banner making them aware of my experience so they can make an informed decision before hiring this company. I would not recommend 3MG Roofing to my worst enemy. read more

Awful experience. Poor workmanship, required three rip off and repairs on the top front of my house and still not right (one time because they used wrong color shingles). No permit pulled for the repairs. Workers spilled soda on roof that leaked into house and garage ceiling (never repaired), dumpster delivered to my neighbors house - and left in their front yard - on their drain field. Over $4000 in wood repairs that no one ever called me about only learned of price once I received invoice. Please view my pictures, they speak more than words. A three month ordeal, over $29,000 - and still not right. Read less read more

If you are looking for speed in the removal and installation of a roof, I was very impressed with 3MG. They had the entire roof removed; including 10 sheets of damaged plywood, replaced those, and almost had the new roof installed in a single day! Also cool is that they have a drone that can take videos of the work being done. read more

Whatever you do, do not finance a roof through them. Here's what they did to us. Quoted us at $24k, we said yes. They started, said it would be about $3k more. We agreed. They then said it would need $6k more, to $33k. We agreed, but increased the amount we financed from $40k to $50k, and expected $17k back to use on other projects. Want to guess what their final bill was? If you said $50k, you've uncovered a blatant grift. Their best defense is they misjudged the original, In what field could you survive with estimates less than half of the final alleged cost? Whatever you take out to finance will automatically be the roof total. It's a sham, is very likely criminal behavior. After ignoring us and the finance guy suddenly gone, I got nasty on their socials and that got them to take notice. They admitted it looked really bad and said he'd see what they could do, now waiting for over 24 hours and nothing. It's like they want us to take legal action or get their current projects shut down. Blatant dishonesty, horrible communication and possible criminal theft of funds has been our experience with them. Getting angrier by the second. read more

(Read older dates they are trying to bury here.). Right after Milton hit 3MG Roofing hit up my high end neighborhood and tarped anyone remotely considering using them. I was not in town. TY quoted me verbally $54K. I returned home a few days later and Jeremy Cruz came over and wrote $72,000 on the contract, I felt very angry because I was not a guy...the male neighbors got the lower price...same roof. I asked him several times to remove the Courtesy Tarp, he refused. Now he wants to sue me for $6,600 raggedly tarp that finally disintegrated. But Google " 3GM Roofing Lawsuits " and the stories speak for themselves. Spot on. I sure plan to counter sue for billing fraud. These guys are NOT local to most customers and it was the second hesitation I had with them. read more

Stay away from this company. Awful follow up service. They blamed a defective roof installation ( as proven by experts) on a previous storm. Did not honor warranty. To make matters worse their attitude from the person in charge and his assistant was rude and hostile. Reported them to the corporate office and never heard back from them either. Good luck if you go with them. read more

Absolutely clowns. The office was supposed to call me when they located my employment check since they had literally told me they "lost it" over the phone. And then they proceed to hand it to someone else after continuing to not call me. Are they literally stupid or dumb? These people just sit in the A/C and eat chipotle all day while they literally fail to serve their own employees. Disrespectful af. Not to mention I had to drive 45 minutes to the guys house who they gave my check to. Are you mf serious?! I could sue tf out of them for this. But my lawyer said it would only be worth it if the check wasn't so pathetic. Don't work here, don't give them business. They're straight trash on Gawd. read more

This is by far the worse experience I've ever had with any company, and I am 52 years of age. I was approached by my neighbor, a 3MG Roofing and Solar "manager" about replacing my roof a few months ago. After a brief conversation, I told him that I was not in the market, but I would call him if that changed. My neighbor, Jason told me to give him a call and before leaving my driveway assured me that if I did, he would "Look after me". About a year later because of storm damage and the age of my roof, I was forced by my insurance company to replace it, or they would not renew my policy. After getting that notification, I attempted to switch companies but was unsuccessful. I was basically told that they could issue a policy, but only if I replaced the roof. Fearing the lack and gap in coverage and the higher insurance premium that my mortgage company was sure to charge me, I contacted Jason and explained my urgency. After spending less than 10 minutes evaluating my roof, he told me that he would call me the following day with some numbers. During our phone conversation and few so called "discounts" later, Jason told me that he got the price down to 23,350 dollars. Because of the urgency and trust (my neighbor) that he would indeed "look out for me", I believed I was getting a fair price and signed their contract via e-mail (don't recommend). As soon as I signed that contract, customer service went to five stars, but Just like some of other reviews here, I was told soon after that I should be prepared to pay an additional 3,000 dollars. I mentioned this to a close friend of mine and she suggested that I get another quote. To my surprise, I was quoted well over 13,000 dollars less for the same job by a licensed roofer. I immediately texted Jason and told him that I wanted to talk to him about the price and wouldn't you know, customer service quickly declined. I ended up having to speak to Jason via cell phone and after a few words, his demeanor immediately changed from, "I'll take care of you", to "We'll you're going to lose your deposit" and if you don't pay the 20 percent cancellation fee, "We will place a lien on your home". Now as a reasonable person, I understand there are costs and fees for work performed and or materials ordered. But in my case, there was no final agreement on what color shingles I was going to choose, no materials were ordered, and we had not even discussed a start date. According to 3MG, 10 minutes and a 145.00 dollar permit entitles them to 4,600.00 dollars. If you are considering doing business with this company, I urge you to read the entire contract and not rely on some slick timeshare sales type salesperson telling you that they are "looking out for you". Believe me, they don't care about you or your situation. All they care about is their commission and revenue. There are plenty of other companies out there who don't require you to sign a contract where they keep your money, even if no work has been scheduled, started or completed. Hope my experience helps the next person when they choose a company. Don't put your trust and your hard-earned money on a salesperson or a company just because they say, "I'll look out for you". read more

They were professional and willing to work with my schedule. Chase is a great asset to the company and ensured the job went smoothly.

We recently had our roof replaced by 3MG Roofing, and I want to begin by saying the service from the roofing team was exceptional. From start to finish, the workmanship, communication, and professionalism on the construction side were top-notch. We were very pleased with the results. However, our experience with the accounting and administrative side of the company was incredibly frustrating. Since our roof was covered by insurance, we understood it would take some time for payments to process--insurance companies are not known for their speed. Unfortunately, rather than working with us through the delays, 3MG placed a lien against our home--one that was not only premature but also for an amount that did not match any of the previously documented figures. As homeowners who have never had a lien on our property, this was upsetting and stressful. Now, more than a year later, we are still dealing with the aftermath. The company initially filed the satisfaction of lien in the wrong county, and although they've since corrected that, we're still waiting for the update to appear in the county system. It's been nearly two weeks since the correction, and the issue remains unresolved. In short, while I would recommend 3MG's roofing services based on quality alone, I would caution anyone to be very mindful of their accounting department. Communication and follow-through on that side of the company left much to be desired, and it has created an ongoing headache long after the work was completed. read more

I called five companies for bids on a new shingle roof. 3MG was the second bid. I told Joe Schewitzer, "I am still taking bids. I have not hired you." A few days later, I awoke to sounds on top of my house. Somebody hired a roofing crew! I still have three more bids coming in this week, but what if I get a better price? Hire another company to tear of a roof that is a few weeks old??? read more

Amazing customer service! Don Willette was great to work with. He took care of many concerns in a timely matter and was easy to get a hold of and honest. Things were easy to understand plus I have a kid with sensory needs and as you know, it's very loud when you get a new roof. Don communicated with us the whole way to let us know when things were going to get loud. The whole experience was outstanding. Use these guys if you want a great roof done right read more

I needed a new roof for my house I live in Cherrywood. I got a hold of 3MG roofing and solar. They showed me all their credentials and certifications. James Downs came to my house and me and explained everything in detail. My brothers were there and they have worked construction all their lives. James knew what he was talking about. He even brought Jason the owner over to the house and the time they spent talking to us was amazing. The promise was exactly what we got and the roof is wonderful work and price were fantastic. I cannot believe I found such a good and fair company and that's a lot nowadays I would highly recommend 3MG and solar here in Ocala. They will deal with you fairly and the quality is top-notch. I couldn't be more pleased with my house. It looks amazing with the new roof price colors workmanship James and Jason. Thank you so much for everything. read more

It has been the worst experience of my life dealing with this company. To date we have paid $228,472.50. Yes Alex and Harrison are good sale man but after putting down 20% November 15th 2022 we are still trying to have our roofs completed. We paid for five roofs to be completed in 5-6 weeks November 15th 2022. Then was told work would start in February 2023. Work never started within the time frame. Two permits expired because they took so long. Every house work stopped as they had the wrong product and had to reorder. Roofs had to be redone due to poor workmanship. The owner Ozzie said that we were a priority for months. Workers showed up and left without explanation time and time and time again on every house. Tenants were beside themselves with the mess in the yard and products left in the driveway or yard for months at a time. Everyone had nails in the tires. I had to clean up at all the sites because crews threw metal, screws and nails everywhere. Grass died due to metal roof material left in the yards, access to the garage was blocked by metal and dumpster for months at a time. Ozzie (owner) called and said he realized this was a show but promised we would be satisfied with the end result. Said he would continue working until we were happy. Now they don't return phone calls, say they will be back and don't show up. I had to call Drexel metal to see how to cover up the scratches on our "new roof" When I sent them pictures of my new roof they sent me paint for free to try fix the roof myself. I explained they use product that was in our yard for over 4 months and this was 3 MG's third attempt to get our roof correct. Now they are sending me emails they are going to a collection agency for a tenant's roof that isn't competed even though I said I would once completed; deposit was $21,400. I paid out for 17th $48,100, Progress $63,705, here $77,917.50 44th $17,350 deposit and as of this date 10/16/2023 have not received a final invoice. read more

We needed a new roof in March 2024. The salesperson was "smooth", too much so. Against advice from another who had hired them, we hired 3MG. It took several weeks to order and receive the materials. The roof was installed throughout April 2024. A metal roof does require some additional steps but I had to call several times to get them out to continue working. Will told me the roof was finished, I have pictures to prove it was not. Finally, three months later they reinstalled my solar panels and damaged several sections of the new metal roof. That was July. I call them every 2 weeks to find out when they are replacing the damaged sections. They never call back. Early October now and I called to report a leak. The person in the office says I was about to call, the new panels are in and we will be out Friday 10/4 to install them. Friday afternoon the same person called to say the crew didn't make it. I took the day off to be home so I could show them the leak. Now we are under a hurricane watch. Stay away from 3MG Roofing read more

We signed on with 3MG after Hurricane Milton caused damage to our home, requiring a full roof replacement as well as additional exterior and interior repairs. Our project manager was Sergio Salcido, and thanks to him the entire process was hassle free. He was extremely knowledgeable and efficient in dealing with our insurance company, making it a smooth experience for us. We hardly had to do anything except file the initial claim. Our inquiries were always addressed quickly, we were kept informed of what to expect throughout the entire time, and Sergio did a great job following up on any concerns we had. We were very satisfied with all the work done and the quality of materials used, both by 3MG and their subcontractors. There were a few minor delays here and there, but nothing that caused us any inconvenience. All in all, an honest and professional company to deal with and would highly recommend based on our experience. read more

3MG roofing, specifically Harrison and Ryan were very professional and made the installation of our new roof, gutters, and drywall repair a seamless experience. It was such an incredible experience working with 3MG and Ryan Olenek throughout the roofing process. This company separates themselves because they truly do care about you as a homeowner, and cared to every need that I had during this process. Whether it be calling/texting Ryan or the office, everyone was impeccably responsive every time I reached out. Ryan did a very thorough inspection of my roof, and gave a very transparent, honest, and professional opinion of the condition/what was found. There wasn't much damage on the roof, and it was very refreshing to have a roofer be honest about that, rather than just say there is damage to get a sale. Highly recommend 3MG for any of your roofing needs! read more
