When they first remodeled from a specialty sandwich shop to a craft beer pub, I was quite disappointed. Now I can't get my favorite chopped cheese or sriracha egg sandwich in the neighborhood anymore. However, I come to realize that having a dependable spot for an excellent burger is a pretty nice too. They do a great classic smash burger with a crispy crust and juicy beef. The toppings are always fresh and the bread is extremely fluffy. While the brioche bun is delicious, I may have a slight preference for the sesame seed bun of the Stack Mac. You really can't go wrong with any of their burger offerings. Obviously, a pub needs some tasty fried foods to go with their nice selection of craft beers. Thankfully, they do. The tater tots and onion rings are both really fantastic. Only thing currently still needs a bit of work is their chicken wings. Not bad for roasted wings, but I wish they were fried. During playoff season, I have come watched games while enjoying their offerings. It's never too busy, which makes it perfect for me. This little craft bar is definitely a hidden gem and I'm happy by me.

We each ordered a draft beer (nice perk with $2 off during happy hour), along with the classic double smash, plus a side of fries and onion rings. The burger was quite greasy, but otherwise enjoyable. It had good flavor and nice crispy edges, though I wish there was more of the house burger sauce, I could barely taste it, and that's usually what gives a burger its signature. The fries and onion rings were both excellent, fried to a perfect crisp. Overall, I'd come back and try more items on the menu.

Beers from around the tilty globe with pictures of historic monasteries and a sourpatch dude look alike, stuck in a TV, smoking a cigarette. I felt like I was in Moscow or Alaska, minus the highway robbery price gouging. (I hear they like to tip a few over there in Putin's Land). There's a wall with a huge number of singles to make four or six packs from and take it as far as you want to, but that kinda reckless mixing can potentially lead to an exploding morning head. But, consider the important part that going the singles route, you're less likely to be going gonna buy a sixer that tastes like pumpkin dishrag, as it's the season, that you despise but drink anyway. *Waste not, want not" Boss Hogg. Me personally, I've never met a pumpkin beer I didn't enjoy spending some time with and I try to have them all. Gosh this is sounding more like a confession than a review. So I'm going further back when a voice sounds off from behind me inquiring about assistance. My brain was ready for a new suggestion as being the lone explorer on Starship Budweiser again just was not on my drinking to do list. At the far end are taps with lotsa Finbacks, my eves locked upon the last entry of a NY cider and as with europe and here in the USSA, we do the growler thing a few centuries late, but hey. Took that thirty duce into the rig and trucked it home with my only complaint -- I should have bought three or ten, hell, I've got a refrigerator and a freezer running in my garage, but truth be told, I like to pop in and meander.

I find beer town's employees and owners to be incredibly kind and considerate to their customers. please know there is parking in the back and they will be more than happy to show you where it is. Their prices are compatible to other places in the neighborhood and their selection is large and their beer is definitely cold. Beer town has been in the neighborhood for a long time and I hope it stays.

When I introduced my foodie friend to a world outside of Coors Light and similarly boring beers a month ago, we have visited a significant amount of distributors ranging from Brooklyn to Port Jeffetson. All in the name of finding that genre of beer that is most appealing to our tastes. These days, there is so much craft beer on the market, deciphering through all of the choices is time consuming as to seeking out particular bottles and can get expensive to the seekers. The initial welcome greeting I got from the owner of The Beer Garden was genuine, in that he laid his business and customer relations intentions out to me. Whatever we need, just ask. "I want you guys as my customers for a long time, anything you need, questions you might have, just ask" He walked us aisle by alsle, recommending some and pointing out the over bought, over hyped beers. After a few bottles were in hand, I left to enjoy the banana bread stout, double chocolate stout, Bells: Two Hearted ale. Amazing selections mixed with attentive customer service. My quest to travel from town to town looking for new options has all but ended.
