When we arrived at HCA, they immediately brought out a wheel chair and helped my wife get in. We went straight to the treatment room and were seen by a very pleasant nurse who took my wife's history and vitals. The doctor came in a few minutes later and provided excellent care. While they were treating my wife, they eventually asked for our insurance, but they were focused on care not money. Another very nice nurse came and helped us get my wife back into the car and safely on our way home. The entire experience was outstanding. The facility is clean, well equipped and staffed by some of the nicest, caring, healthcare workers I've met. I highly recommend them!

Finally the x-ray technician came in to take me to do my CT scan and willed me back to my room telling me it would be another few hours before anybody could read the x-rays. I was steady vomiting in the vomit bag only to have a nurse come in my room and yell at me because she thought I was vomiting in the sink and I assured her I was not and she turned around and slam the door and left without even checking on me. After that I left and went to a different ER many miles away only to find out I have a fractured vertebrae in a mild concussion. I will never ever ever use this emergency room again because of the quality of the nursing staff.

The office staff and nurses are always attentive to requests for appointments, copies of blood test results, and other matters. There are other in-network providers who practice much closer to where we live, but the 25-minute drive is well worth keeping our connection to this fine physician.

It is my body and my life, I think every patient should ask questions and challenge conventional theories. I have a thyroid issue. I am trying to find ways to heal it. I have been seeing Dr. Horsefield for maybe 5 years now, and have noticed passive aggressiveness before... but what I recently experienced is clearly unacceptable. I saw him for my regular annual appointment 3 months ago. My TSH levels were too high, so I got on some thyroid supplements and we retested about 6 weeks later. The results came in and the TSH levels were too low. I have since readjusted my medication and sent him an email politely asking if he could order the bloodwork to retest my levels so I can ensure i am now healthy and found the right balance. His response was callous. I have attached a photo with the passive aggressive response, where he makes it clear that he wont put the test in the system because he doesn't get paid for "answering emails, ordering tests, reviewing tests, communicating test results and maintenance of records" ..... REALLY? Aren't those tasks associated with being a doctor? I would be happy to pay him, for me it isn't about the money at all. In addition, clearly SOMEONE is getting paid when I order these lab tests because I'm charged thousands of dollars for them. All I need though is the bloodwork.... and he doesn't have availability for 2 months!?! I'm extremely disappointed that someone in the healthcare field is so much more concerned about their wallet than their patients health. Also if he wanted to charge me a processing fee that is fine, but his solution is clearly not in my best interest to wait 2 months and potentially do irreversible damage to my body.

I experienced a somewhat horrific colonoscopy after turning 55 years old and realizing I was…read moreoverdue. I had a physician by the name of Faruqi Sohaib attending as the proctologist. Polyps were found and one of a decent size. As I understand it, proctologist will take A biopsy to confirm whether or not the polyp is cancerous. OK, if the biopsy returns a benign result case should be closed. However, this humorless and emotionally detached imbecile caused me more than a month of pain and I mean gut wrenching, writhing pain. I found out after several days of severe abdominal cramps and absolutely zero energy, that I could've been very near to death due to bacteria breaching or entering the bloodstream from the location where the biopsy had been cauterized. This uncompassionate physician with no bedside manner did not answer his calls in a timely manner and brushed aside my concerns, stating that it was more than likely the Chinese food that I had eaten three days after the exam. Long story short, I seat consultation from several other proctologist in the area and they appear to be a network of individuals who could not provide an objective view. I finally opted to visit with Dr. Clemmons and was extremely pleased with his level and depth of knowledge, including his professionalism. Not only was Dr. Clemens able to correctly diagnose why I spent two days in agonizing pain in bed, as opposed to going to the emergency room for some indefinite period of time as Dr. Sohaib had stated, dr. Clemmons, true to his Hippocratic oath was also concerned that my brother had a higher than normal likelihood of also having polyps and recommended that he get tested as soon as possible. Sadly, but one last testament to Dr. Clemmons thoroughness, he identified a smaller Polyp that had been overlooked and undetected by the original hack, Dr. Faruqi. Dr. Clemmons, A very respectable, professional and knowledgeable physician with a wonderful bedside manner. I cannot recommend him enough. Marc

I will NEVER go to this place again. I was scheduled for a colonoscopy and waited 2 hours after scheduled time in waiting room. Was taken back and waited another 45 minutes after undressing. When they came in the procedure room. The doctor got started. I did not recvd an IV. I was in alot of pain and told them repeatedly it did not feel right. The nurse, not sure if she was a nurse or not. I was still VERY alert, and she proceeded to give me more sedation (I did not ask for) and then Dr Clemmons entered and started the procedure. I felt the pipe tubing and lots of stomach pushed (literally) and I was screaming in pain. No one even asked me if I was ok. Horrible experience. With all the anesthesia I just blacked out and hours later in recovery my husband appeared. A lady told me the Dr would be in to talk to me, and I do NOT have any recollection of any. Upon meeting Dr Clemmons at first I thought he was a nice doctor but whatever his reasons where I felt literally like I was a number. No one followed up they gave me paperwork AND SAID THEY WILL FOLLOW UP IN A FEW DAYS. Never DID. I took the findings to another doctor he asks what this is. Between the lines of first day back and traffic around to school, I was 12 minutes late for my appointment. They promptly told me they wanted to reschedule. I was only there for prescription refills. It would have been a "sit in the office, small talk for a few minutes" apointment... and "here's your prescription refills". I'm on blood pressure medication and just need a refill and they don't care because I didn't call while I was driving through school zones to get to the doctors office. I have a job and kids and they have no problem making me wait for 10 to 15 minutes, but heaven forbid they wait for you for a few minutes. I'll be finding a new doctor that cares.
