I called this clinic and they said they could do his vaccine. I arrived for his appointment and the staff was all very nice and friendly and everything looked very clean. We were moved next door to another waiting room and they asked to see his vaccine card which I provided. They asked me why I was getting a third dose and I said because the Pfizer vaccine for infants is 3 doses. She asked me but who told you that you needed a third dose. I was kind of stumped and responded Pfizer and tx childrens told me...... She said I'll be right back and left with my son's vaccine card. At this point I am extremely unconfutable with having my son vaccinated here as they clearly do not even know the vaccine schedule. If she had not have taken the vaccine card I would have just left. So I waited a bit then she came back and said they don't have the pfizer infant dose. I said I was told that y'all did when I called and scheduled a couple of days ago. She apologized and said that they do not have it. So the whole thing wound up being a waste of time. So while everyone was very nice, there is some communication issues with their scheduling staff as well as some education issues. If they are administering vaccines, they should at least be aware of the vaccine schedule. I did really like that this clinic is smaller and it felt like you got more individualized attention versus other pediatric clinics that always seem overcrowded.

The first test came out a true negative. But the other 2 tests were BOTH FALSE POSITIVES. The 1st positive: I came back from a trip to Cancun early December 2020 and went to get tested with the other 3 people that went with me just to be sure. We all had no symptoms and no exposure to any known positive cases. My 3 friends that lived with me were negative, but I was a positive. I quarantined for 2 days, still no symptoms. We were all suspicious of the test result, so I scheduled a PCR test elsewhere, and my results came back negative. The 2nd positive: I really can't believe I came back after that, but I thought "what are the odds of me getting another false positive?" So I don't really go anywhere other than the grocery store, but 2 of my friends and I decided to all get tested before we hang out to be safe. I got another positive result from here about a month after my first false positive. Again, no symptoms no exposure. This was when I thought "this is BS" and got retested elsewhere immediately after. I tested negative, as expected. The point of this review: AVOID GETTING A COVID TEST HERE. I know these tests aren't 100% accurate, and there is a margin of error... BUT 2 FALSE POSITIVES IN A ROW??? I'm wondering how dirty they are or how the samples keep getting contaminated. Avoid the stress, confusion, anxiety and go somewhere else y'all.

My wife and I have been going to Dr. Gerteisen, Dr. G, for the last few years. She is the most…read morecaring and compassionate doctor that I have ever seen. She asks a ton of questions not only to address your health concern, but also to get to know you as a person. It is uncommon to find a doctor with such a relaxed and warm bedside manner. She is an absolute diamond of a doctor. The office is clean and modern. There is plenty of parking all around the building. It is located right off 518 and is easy to locate. The staff is friendly and receptive. There is usually very little wait time. The office uses the MyChart ap to help you stay in contact with your doctor. Dr. G and her staff usually respond the same day or the very next day. You really get the feeling that she cares. She never makes you feel like you have a dumb question. She does not have the doctor complex that you usually see form other doctors. She is not only the nicest doctor I know, she is one of the nicest people I have been fortunate enough to meet. Dr. G spends so much time one on one in the room with you that there is absolutely no feeling of being rushed whatsoever. I went to NextCare in Pearland because I was having intense abdominal pain. While I was waiting to…read morebe seen, I was told that I would need an MRI and since they didn't have one, I would have to go to an emergency room. So I left NextCare without being seen and went to the hospital ER. After a full day at the hospital and a $13,000 hospital bill later, I was home and recovering. That was a pretty unpleasant experience but not as unpleasant as receiving a bill from NextCare for $200 for them to tell me that they can not see me. I called NextCare right away and despite several requests, they would not not remove the charge. Apparently, they are more interested in gouging people for every penny than doing the right thing. There are plenty of Urgent Cares out there so please take my advice and learn from my terrible experience and find somewhere else to be seen.
