Then yesterday, I was told all 100 VIP cards had already been claimed. An employee also told me the last VIP card had actually been claimed several days earlier. It opened on bolsa so I was p r e t t y skeptical because there are already fantastic cafes on that stretch of street and you need a lot to distinguish yourself there but alas I still braved the chaotic streets of little Saigon and spent twenty minutes looking for parking so I could join the queue of eager bargain hunters for the grand opening of their Westminster location. Disappointed I was not. Despite waiting another 30 minutes in line, staff were stationed outside the cafe in the warm summer heat to humor my queries and make sure I was amply prepared for a streamlined ordering experience. I made sure to get one of their most popular drinks, the Mochi Barley Burst and was not disappointed. Not photographed (because I could hardly contain my excitement) was the Pink Coconut Glow. The Barley Burst was refreshing, light, not too sweet, and offered a fantastic mouth feel between the bursts of barley infused popping boba and velvety sweetened mochi I was in a textural paradise!!! I couldn't stop myself and to my chagrine my beverage disappeared in minutes. The pink coconut glow was a little bit less exciting in my opinion. The coconut was light and refreshing but it was not as pronounced of a flavor as I would've liked and the watermelon was a little faint, little more than a colorful accent, however the chestnut boba was such a game changer for me I still had a ball. I think this store definitely brings their A-game when it comes to boba so even when this drink was a little more lacking it was still a delight with every sip. 4/5 for the barley, 3/5 for the coconut if I was just going off of the actual beverage but goodness the toppings added a full point to both at minimum. Highly recommend dropping by when you're craving a good summer treat. read more

We went for their grand opening bogo deal and their drinks were just as good as the Tustin location despite the hour long wait and how busy they were. This place is amazing, perfect spot for late night out with friends. Tried different flavors each time and haven't regretted a single purchase. Note, the mochi is amazing, so good, soooooo soft. Mochi mango: 6/10. Very strong mango flavor, a bit too strong for me personally but if you love mango you'll love this Mochi matcha: 8/10. Love the subtle matcha flavor; it isn't too overpoweringly strong, just enough to taste it without it being too much Mochi oreo: 8/10. Very milky and creamy taste which I liked a lot. I do wish there was a bit more oreo flavor since it did mostly taste like milk with a little hint of oreo, but still yum Avomango sweet dew: 9.5/10. so. good. the avocado and mango work surprisingly well together and don't clash at all. the super creamy avocado has a slight sweetness in it that blends perfectly with the slightly tangy and sweet mango. love. love. love. Grape pear: 6.5/10. fair warning, this drink has a lot of texture (creamy, icey, jelly, crunchy) so if you're not a texture person, I wouldn't go with this. It was their soft opening BOGO deal. Hubby got 2 watermelon crunch which he enjoyed! The chewy chestnut complimented the watermelon smoothie very well. I got the jade matcha and avocado mango smoothie. I didn't like jade matcha as much, airroma and Viland Has better matcha. It was missing a topping to compliment the bitterness. The avocado mango smoothie was really good even with no added sugar! It was recommended by staff while I was in line outside. I will return to try other drinks on menu. read more

Sunlit glow (added agar boba): it's suppose to have mango and passion fruit. I did not taste any passion fruit so either they forgot or it only makes the drink super sweet with still a lot of mango flavor. I prefer the mango sweet dew. read more

mango mochi was a pretty good coconut mango boom dupe but the mochi was super thick that it was honestly hard to drink. i thought the flavor was good and the cream was a plus but overall was a basic boba. the line went by pretty quickly but there was definitely a wait. would give it another shot in the future. read more

Easily one of the best drink spots in the area. You can tell they use actual fresh fruit and high-quality milk instead of those cheap, artificial syrups. I noticed there was a new boba shop that opened so I decided to stop by to try it! The shop is cute! Cát themed ^_^.. but, very limited seating. I think this is mainly just a Togo spot. There was a line when I went but the line moved relatively quick. The cashier was very kind and patient. However, the menu/ topping item made no sense. I really like water chestnut boba, but not s lot of places sell it, I saw that 3cat had it on their menu under topping. I wanted to add to either or/ my milk tea or fruit tea, but the cashier said no can do, water chestnut boba can only be added to a specific drink. Doesn't make sense why it would be under toppings if it cant be a topping for all drinks. The specific drinks were some kinda slushie but im not big on slush... Anywhoooo I went with a jasmine milk tea with barley popping. I forgot to ask for less sweet so this is my fault, but it was really sweet. It was on the milkier side even tho I did ask for more tea. I love 3CAT, I was so excited about this new location near me and told my friend she had to give it a try with me. We get there and there's absolutely no line so I'm thinking great we'll be out of here in no time and be able to go study elsewhere. When we went up to the door the workers just stare at us so I'm confused on the process since there's no line but they tell us to start it so we do. Afterwards, another group gets in line behind us and the workers go up to them and ask if they would like to look at their menu. I didn't really care that they didn't ask us but I did notice it. Once inside, we're waiting for the kiosk to open up and workers ask everyone in the group before us to spin the wheel. After we order, nobody asks us. So now it's weird, right? Anyway, we're seeing that everybody has come and gone and it's been 30 minutes but our drinks aren't ready yet. So I go up to the register and show her my number and the girl at the register shows me two drinks and asks if they're mine, they are not. She says there must be a system error and asks to see my online receipt. I show her and she says they'll start making them. As a customer, I wish there had been some sort of offer to fix the situation so I didn't leave regretting even making my friend go with me. Saw people advertising this place on TikTok locally and like any other Boba, Tea, Smoothie shop etc I like to try new places. Now with that people said. I had the same experience the other reviewer below. If your in a rush and in the area to try this place, make sure your not in a rush or late to where you need to be because even for 2 or 3 simple drinks it took like 20 minutes or more like the other reviewers stated. I've been to many drink shops tea, boba, sushi, smoothies, places like even Jamba Juice that have to smoothe several ingredients all together get my order quicker than here. Mind you this is like just tea orders so do the math, what should take longer or complicated to make a tea or smoothie. It is kind of warm inside so I suggest you order and wait outside but thats just a small nit picking issue im sure as months this problem will be properly taken into consideration. I do agree with the other person that one of the cashier seemed unexperienced and I get that your barely opening for the first time but I mean there should be some type of preemptive measures to properly train staff cashier before grand opening or openings in general to make sure something as making simple transactions, ordering, and line placements should be done without manager supervision. +2 Stars for trying but -3 for unreadiness, confusion, and disoriented service. read more
