The festive atmosphere, variety of vendors, and overall energy really made it feel like a true holiday experience. That said, this event has clearly outgrown the venue. There were a lot of people--so many that at times it was hard to move comfortably, and even hard to breathe in certain areas. While most vendors were very friendly, I did have one minor hiccup where an order placed after mine was served first. I'll omit the business name out of respect, but it did stand out. On the positive side, the hot mulled wine was excellent. I did find it a little amusing that you have to purchase the signature cup in order to get it, but in the end, I walked away with a nice keepsake, so no real complaints there. Overall, this was a fun and memorable event. Plenty of free parking in the surrounding area, great vibes, and a solid reason to come back--ideally at a larger venue next time.

It was so nice to see people of all different ages and cultures there enjoying the market. The booths were well organized, and the employees we encountered were all very friendly. So many different great offerings of food and gifts and fun. We are thrilled that they moved it out here to lawrenceville. We parked at the justice center and took the very short walk through the well lit and decorated for Christmas path that went from the parking lot to the main street not far from the entrance to the market. Don't waste your time on taking the shuttle. The walk is super easy. We will look forward to coming back again next year.

I wanted more booths to purchase fun crafts, or wine accessories but maybe that would take away from the purpose of the festival?? Parking was easy, but we know the area. If you are not familiar I suggest arriving early to park in the main lot. Side streets & back parking available, but you have to be patient. Once in you get a band & a PLASTIC wine cup. Off ya go.... booths set up & friendly folks pour their wines for tasting. My FAVORITE was Sweet Bitch Moscato Rose. I also tried a great blueberry wine, but can't remember what lable. Had some gross wines too! A fun way to try before ya buy! I didn't see wines to buy, but they all directed us to purchase from a certain liquor store. I guess they sponsored the festival. Eeks, can't remember the name, but off Peachtree Industrial in Suwanee. At each booth they had a big water jug & bucket to rince your cup. Love that!!! We'll go back next year & get the VIP tickets for wine samples & food included!!! They sold out quickly, $125 pp!! No pics, but you can imagine a bunch of folks having a good time!! Well I truly had a blast ,decent crowd , and great folks to hang out with.I didn't really care where the grapes came from I just wanted to DRINK . They had a nice band can't recall the name but they played some good music . They had food vendors from pizza to lobster rolls, cheese ,chocolate dipped strawberries etc Taco MAC provided free wings (2) though no limit on the number of times you appear in line they had some great IPA Beer whew almost knocked me on my ass. I was out there for all 4 hours got pretty wasted . I 'll be back next year and get the VIP pass they sell out early so get your ticket when they go on sale.

It is the coolest exhibit imo but they had a huge train table, tent for pretend play and tons of other educational toys for kids in the other rooms too They also took us down to see the reptile exhibit with turtles, snakes and lizards and it's a scenic route with waterfalls and cool architecture. I got to try a bunch of beers from different breweries that I have heard of but never got the chance to try. Some of my favorites were: Steady Hand Beer Co - that Flower Business DOUBLE IPA though! Didn't taste like a strong double but nice and hoppy. I would have come back for more if I weren't so full of beer! Glad to hear they are opening up soon (if not already...) in Midtown! Orpheus - Sykophantes sour beer actually wasn't bad. I'm a little scared of Orpheus (since they're known for their sour beers) and sours in general, but I found it to e more subtle in the sweeter fig Sykophantes. Eventide - Red Headed Haley was a pretty smooth and easy drinking red ale. The cool can art was the best part of this beer, though. Crooked Stave - i didn't love this but their sour rosé was definitely very interesting - and tasted just like what you think a sour rosé would taste like. I was hoping to find some more interesting IPA's but they all tasted pretty standard. There were only a few food truck options, but the one I chose was great! Brookelynn's had a great hotdog cyclone that went great with my beer! Overall, I was pretty happy with the brewery turn out at the Duluth Beer and Wine Fest and excited to see them do another one next year!

I believe that this was the first of an annual event…read more You can find the Duluth Beer and Wine Festival in the Duluth Town Green at 3142 Hill Street Nw - Downtown Duluth is home to an outdoor amphitheater, Town Green with a fountain, Taylor Park, and City Hall - there's shopping (retail and restaurants) at the top of the hill. The event terraced from street level at the top of the hill to the amphitheater base and included about 50 vendors, mostly beer and a handful of wine distributors - the event was managed by the Atlanta Sport and Social Club. As with other events featuring beer, I volunteered as a first shift beer pourer for a local brewery, Good Word (who happened to be located in Downtown Duluth about a block from the venue). The event was moderately attended compared to others like the Atlanta Summer Beer Festival but I believe that was expected for a first year beer festival - I anticipate it to be quite crowded in subsequent years. The people pouring were all volunteers (some laws in Georgia prevent people from the breweries and distributors from pouring, but many were in attendance to answer questions and talk about their favorite subject). Afterwards I walked over to Good Word with Tiff H. and Michelle T and we shared a Cheese Board and a Brussels and Kale salad. The weather was clear and quite nice, if a bit hot (90's in October sucks). In all I think it was an awesome first festival and I hope to volunteer or at least attend next year.

This place is pretty big and not too far from the mall with a great view. A lot of parking spaces usually where there is an event here they have the concession stand up and running and small business selling items as well, depending on what the event consist of. Again, this particular event brought me here because of the jobs there so there were pros and cons lots of volunteers and people to help assist, but if you ask me, it could've been a lot a lot a lot more more organized it lacked badly . I'm not sure if it was not enough volunteers or enough directions that went around the job fair started at 9 AM. It was over at 3 PM. I arrived at around noon made it in pretty quickly and I was instructed where to go. After that, you were pretty much left to fish for yourself no real signs on what was being 100% offered or if you should join the line no information about how many people they were looking to hire per each position or what kind of background would be needed we were just told pretty much. It's a job fair and had to mingle for ourselves.

Two of my favorites are WINTER JAM 2024 & Hockey games with my husband. This stadium has excellent appeal and is easy to get to. Parking is abundant both outdoor and garages. Once inside you are able to find your seating with the assistance of ushers and other staff. They even have handicap valets to get you to the proper seating. I can say I have had seats midway in the decks all the way to floor seats center. The massive screens allowed me to never miss a shot or singer. This arena offers season tickets for the hockey fan. Or VIP meet & greets for the music lovers in us all.

Held by the Alif Institute, There are plenty of cool cultural experiences to experience. (For the little ones, too.) The food alone will keep you busy for quite a long time. There is so much to sample. The organizers and volunteers are always very friendly and welcoming. We were surrounded by people who take a great deal of pride in their culture, and sharing their heritage. Holler if you want some company.

Family favorite! We took the kiddos as summer activity and they loved everything about the farm…read more Seeing the animals, mining for geodes, picking strawberries and trying as many homemade goodies as possible! The strawberries were huge, juicy and super sweet. It was a bit muddy but that's honestly the best time to pick them. As a side note the berries are across the street and with Newton County slowly growing crossing the street can be a bit hectic. Thankfully the kids we were with were between the ages of 6-9 so it was a bit easier to cross the street. But none the less still hectic. We went on a Saturday during peak hours which the kids enjoyed because there were so many new possible friends to be made while playing on the on-site playground. Plenty of photo worthy backgrounds, plenty of ripe berries and 10/10 worth every penny. Everyone that worked on the day we visited were super sweet and attentive. Not to mention patient. They really enjoy the service that they provide to the community. We also stop by later in the year for the pumpkin patch as well. This is a family favorite and generational stop for my family!

We came here for their second annual lavender festival. Parking was pretty full on their gravel…read morelot, but it was no problem finding a spot. All of their other farm features were open during the festival, such as srawberry picking, gem mining, and of course the shop full of goodies. There were also outside vendors set up, farmer's market style, and a musician entertaining us all. We went to the lavender field only to find that you had to pay for the picking back in the shop. No worries as the line was not that long. We got our PVC tubing and clippers (both provided by them), and started to pick. There was a good selection and the field seemed full. After about 30 minutes and a lot of photo ops, we were done and they wrap and tie your lavender for you. It was a great experience! We then went to the shop to get some food, but all they had were drinks and dessert type items, so main course foods. There is an opportunity there for sure!
