Do yourself a favor and book Stacey & Company immediately. I was fortunate enough to work with Stacey and her team of magicians for a large Bat Mitzvah this past weekend. She not only transformed the entire space into Alice's wonderland, but she also made a little girl's dreams come true. But let's be honest--that girl may as well have been me because last Saturday I was wishing I was 13 years old again (probably for the first time in my life). Stacey's professionalism is only matched by her easy demeanor and warm smile. PLUS, she's wicked talented when it comes to personalized designs. Book Stacey & Company and save yourself any disappointment. Every event is a wonderland of possibilities and a chance to fall down a rabbit hole of enchantment. read more

I reached out to Stacey and connected with her about planning my milestone birthday party. She committed to it and said she was away but said we'd meet via Zoom in several weeks to get everything underway. She promised to send the contract and I was ready to pay the retainer. 4+ weeks later I've sent her a handful of emails about the contract, retainer, and to confirm our Zoom meeting and have gotten zero response to 5+ emails. She's totally ghosted me! She should have an assistant or at the very least use AI tools to respond, send the contract, or simply decline working with me. I've now lost over 6 weeks and have to go find and hire a new event planner. It's extremely unprofessional behavior and also quite rude. Who doesn't respond to 4+ emails from a client for their business?! read more

Stacey was phenomenal! I would recommend her to anyone, and especially if your event is at Outdoor Art Club. I worked with her for day/month-of coordination for my wedding. We met a few times in the months leading up to check in about my plans and for her to offer suggestions and guidance. All her recommendations were excellent, from timeline details to referring other vendors. She knows the Outdoor Art Club (a historic building) inside and out, so I was able to relax completely and not worry about their rules and requirements at all, trusting that Stacey had it covered. I made things more complicated by having our ceremony at a nearby park instead of OAC, but even with that added everything went absolutely perfectly. She also did an excellent job setting up all the decorations to make the room look gorgeous, and packing it all up for us at the end of the night, including a mail order Photo Booth that had to be packed just right back in its original box. She also had a number of decorations we could use (frames for signage, a card box, some candles, candelabras and votives, blankets for the ceremony) that were incredibly helpful. She had all the logistics and details covered, letting us and our families just enjoy the night and float through each different part without any worries! As the bride, I didn't think about anything but celebrating all night, and that is all thanks to Stacey's expertise. She also did our save the dates and invitations, as well as much of the signage for the wedding itself, and they were all beautiful. She really went above and beyond, including finding a specific font and actually creating some design elements herself that fit my vision, and I'm so appreciative! read more

Stacey is hands down the best planner I have ever worked with. She had wonderful ideas for my daughter's engagement party but let me incorporate all of my suggestions. My only requirement was "elegant, but fun" and that's exactly how the evening turned out. I was in tears I was so happy with the final results. My daughter, her boyfriend and I loved everything (and I'm type A and very picky!) Stacey always communicated about party arrangements on time and I was never worried about the party being the perfect day. Everything was completed on time and as planned- leaving me able to enjoy myself for the evening. Several guests commented that it was the best party they had been to! Stacey coordinated flowers, rentals and cookies with amazing vendors. She's the best! read more

I've used 38north Design Co on several projects both personally and with our school. Her creativity and know how of products are never ending. Balloon designs or personalized boxes for special days (Father's Day, birthday, grandmother's gifts). I ended up working with Stacey when my wedding date got moved by my venue. The coordinator I initially hired referred Stacey to coordinate our wedding the day of. We really didn't know what to expect but was hopeful that Stacey would be just as good as the gal that we hired. Fortunate for us, Stacey was even better that what we could have ever hoped for. I didn't have to worry about a single thing except for myself on my wedding day. Stacey made sure that: -Everything was properly set up -We followed our time line -Ushered guests to cocktails and reception -Wedding party was where they all needed to be at all times -Gathered Family for Photos and ceremony needs -Everything was smooth and as planned She even stayed until the very end even though she didn't need to. I'm very fortunate that Stacey and her assistant were there on my wedding day. They were both great to work with! read more

Again - it bears repeating that Stacey is a designing genius. We just got our wedding invitations out in the mail and the complments have been POURING in. I wish I had more to do with the whole process and happily tell everyone how amazing working with Stacey is. After chatting with my fiance and I for about an hour she immediately understood what we wanted our wedding to feel like and managed to design a truly custom invitation that embodies our personal style. She listened to our ideas and presented us with mock ups of our ideas and a few of her own which we ultimately chose. These invitations have since grown to be part of the art work that we're using on our cake and she is also incorporating it into our thank you and escort cards. Stacey truly handles everything - which is no small detail considering our guest list changed in number and it seemed that everytime I chatted with someone they had moved. I don't know how she kept it all organized and got the invitations out because my head is still swimming. She does all this and more with true professionalism and the absolutely BEST positive attitude ever. Stacey is truly a joy to work with and has my highest recommendation. read more

Stacey was AMAZING to work with!!! She did all of our paper supplies for our wedding: save the date cards, invitations, programs, table markers, name cards, etc. She was very accommodating and she worked within our budget and respected our budget, which was very important to me. We got sooo many compliments on our invitations and had people telling us how unique they were and how much our invitations stood out amongst the 10 others on their refrigerator (we got married at the most popular time of year apparently). But the real reason for the 5 star review is how incredible she was as our day-of coordinator. We forgot the marriage license, challah bread, and didn't have enough red wine for the night and Stacey fixed everything. She literally ran to Safeway for us to get what we needed and she calmed me down because I was freaking out about the things we had forgotten (this was 10 min before the ceremony was set to begin!) She made sure the photographer got every single shot we wanted, she made sure the schedule ran smoothly, she even cleaned up everything at the end of the night and made sure all the overly drunk people got home safely by calling her friend last-minute to hire a towncar to shuttle our guests! (Since we got married at 1 Fort Mason, it was hard to get taxis). On top of it all she gave my husband and I a ride back to our hotel, I mean this woman is just unbelievable!!!!! Stacey thank you SO MUCH for making the night flawless (or at least making sure nobody noticed the flaws!!!) She even got the approval of mom and aunt and they are really critical and picky so that is a huge deal!!! Hire Stacey if she is available on your date!!! SHe will not let you down!!! read more

Stacey is the best! She made our wedding day effortless and for that we will always be grateful. My wife and I were married in October and used Stacey for "day-of" wedding coordination. We sort of debated whether we needed the help (my wife-to-be was like "don't worry - I've got it under control - let's save the money") but we wound up deciding that the help couldn't hurt. And oh man...was that a good decision. Stacey is an absolute professional. She provided helpful advice in the run-up to the wedding, took charge of the walk-thru and stage-managed every detail on the day of perfectly. Things came up on the wedding day that we simply could not have imagined but we just never had to pay attention - Stacey anticipated most issues and the ones she didn't got fixed before we noticed. She just made everything smooth and graceful. Beyond this - she fun and accessible. We liked her personally and trusted her instinctively. We're not formal people but we try to be tasteful and we wanted our wedding to walk that same line. Stacey understood that vibe and made decisions as we would of in her place. Hard to put a price on that. The choice between full-service and day-of coordination is hard - we (and especially my wife) would have saved a lot of time if we'd had Stacey do the entire wedding. But at minimum you must have a day-of coordinator (we wished someone had just told us that ;-) and we'd recommend Stacey enthusiastically and without reservation. read more

Great custom invitiations and birth announcements...quality work! affordabe, flexible, fun to work with, and she really catapulted my amateur artwork into something more. Both times now, she has delivered a beautiful, polished product. I've known about yelp for a few years now, and I always think "oh, I should totally yelp that place." After using Stacey for two announcements (wedding and baby), I've finally gotten around to actually going through the hassle of setting up an account and writing a review. The Wife and I took some pretty rough sketches to her along with some half-baked ideas about what we wanted. Both times now, I feel like she really did an amazing job at taking our ideas and images, and not just putting them together, but truly adding value with her creative input. read more

My new husband and I used Stacey & Co to oversee our rehearsal dinner and wedding. She was wonderful - she talked me through every step, and made sure that every detail was attended to. (I am a perfectionist, so believe me when I tell you that every detail was attended to...) Stacey was a pleasure to work with and was unflappable in the face of unplanned orders of business. Not only did she maintain her professional composure when a rude wedding guest was unhappy with my - the bride's - seating arrangement, she was totally calm when her car was, in fact, driven off a cliff by the docent of our ceremony venue. I believe her quote was literally, 'I will deal with that later - I have a wedding to attend to'. I mean honestly... this is the girl you want on your team. Many thanks to Stacey and her wonderful assistant for catering to my every whim and having our wedding be the most fun, memorable day of our lives... we truly appreciate and would highly recommend to any bride & groom in the area. read more

I thought that I was the leader of the pack in singing Stacey's praises! We got married about 10 months ago, and hands down Stacey's work with all our paper was the one thing that we have absolutely no regrets about. The quality of her work was evident, her attention to detail and the final product was a culmination of a few words spoken to Stacey that translated into a gorgeous theme. Her work was superb, but her personality topped it all. I have recommended StaceyandCompany.com to others repeatedly and do not hesitate to do so at any moment. Her prices were reasonable and accommodating. her design and attention to detail reflects her ability to understand what her clients envision. Above all she was always timely. I giver her the full 5 stars! read more

Stacey and Company produces the most creative, polished, beautiful, custom designed invitations and announcements. I am always amazed at the incredible quality of her work. Stacey seems to be able to capture the feeling of each event and express it with design, color, texture, and the most unique style! In addition, she is a pleasure to work with...which secures her place in my rolodex for all of my invitation and party planning needs! The whole experience rates as EXCELLENT. read more

When we first began planning our wedding, we realized we were in over our heads and we needed help! We had initially been looking for someone to give us an economical hand with general assistance and after our first meeting/interview with Stacey, we really appreciated her honesty, her ability to get to know us as a couple (and our style) and we hired her right away! She was great and we felt really good about our decision. After a few months of working together, we found ourselves in huge a bind - our wedding venue breached their contract just 2 MONTHS before our wedding day! We were petrified! We upped our contract with Stacey and despite her other obligations, she stepped up to the plate and helped us out immensely! There were so many additional and unexpected tasks we now had to take care of, LIKE FINDING A NEW VENUE, and Stacey was wonderful...not to mention calming. She immediately wanted to help. She took the time to give us several great referrals and ideas. (It is worth mentioning that one referral was not that great AND expensive - you might want to find your own light and decoration company, NOT Phoebus Lighting! The decorations and lighting were definitely lacking! But, everyone else came through.) In addition to planning, she also did wonderful work with our invites and other needed stationary. We got SO many compliments on our unique invites!!! Stacey always respected our comfort level and our style. She never made us feel like we were a burden and she often made us laugh when we were stressed. We highly recommend her for any of your event planning and/or invitation or announcement making (maybe not her tennis shoes though - which showed up in pictures for a formal wedding :) ) . Stacey & Co, thank you for being an amazing addition to our planning process, to our special day and even afterward when you congratulated us and took care of our awesome thank you cards! We couldn't have gotten it done without you. read more

FYI: I booked her as part of a package deal with Fog City Entertainment. The DJ + Day of Coordination package, which I would 100% recommend. Completely satisfied on all accounts. Stacey took complete control of the day of my wedding and me and my wife(!!!) didn't have to worry about anything. We felt like everything was covered and under control. On the day of neither of us had to make any more decisions. What else could one want out of a day of coordinator? I don't give her all 5 stars only because there were a few times I sent her emails and she indicated she would respond at a certain date and then didn't. I am not sure if it was just extra anxiety on my part or her dropping the ball, but at the time it was a bit frustrating. Important to note, however, that this was all MONTHS before the wedding. As the wedding drew near, Stacey became more and more responsive. By the last week I had 100% confidence everything was under control because of Stacey's thoroughness and attention to detail. She gave me what I really wanted, the final sign off that 'everything was taken care of'. The peace of mind that gave us was priceless. Overall I am happy to recommend Stacey to anyone and would happily book her again if me and the wife decide to get remarried! If a friend booked her I would know they were in good hands. read more

When I first talked to Stacey she seemed really positive, responsive, and was willing to work in my somewhat limited budget. So for that she gets an extra star. But here's the thing, that was a MONTH AGO. I was going to hire her to help me find a venue plus day of coordination. My wedding is only a few months away so I didn't exactly have time to wait around on that decision. She said she would drum up a proposal. A week went by...Nothing. So I emailed her, she said she'd get back to me shortly and that the weather of another bride's wedding was making things hectic. Ok, that sounds reasonable...Another week goes by and I get an email saying that there's more wedding weather trouble and that her last event was that weekend. After THAT she'd be in touch with me. And now it's another two weeks later...NADA. NOTHING. ZILCH. She's just disappeared off the face of the planet I guess. I'm not a psycho, I get it. Wedding planners are really busy and weather is unpredictable, but a month response time when I was already extremely limited on my booking options a month ago (living in the bay area is awesome isn't it?) is simply unacceptable. I wanted to book Stacey, I really did. But it seems like she's taking on too many clients at once, and for that she lost business and left a bad impression. read more

Can't recommend Stacey enough! Super professional and so easy to work with. I am a fellow event planner here in the Bay Area who has had the pleasure of working with Stacey many times. Recently, while working a wedding, my appendix flared up. In a panic, I called Stacey to the rescue. Without knowing my couple or anything about the day's plans, Stacey stepped in and took over so that I could rush over to the hospital. After shaking off a bit of my meds from the emergency appendectomy, I checked with the couple to see how everything went. They said they were very pleased with how well Stacey was able to step in as my replacement and keep the event running smoothly. I often refer potential clients to Stacey when I am booked and do so with 100% confidence in her. Thanks Stacey!! read more

I pulled Stacey's business info out of a back of a magazine - on a whim - and it turned out to be one of the best decisions I made for my wedding. She made such a personal effort to incorporate all of my great ideas and make them my reality. As the previous poster's stated, she is amazing at running an idea through an entire event and without making it cheesy or "overkill". We started with an invitation and quickly found the framework for an entire wedding theme. The work we did together on the wedding is still some of my favorite memories of the planning and I am just itching to find another reason to use her fabulous services! Thanks again Stacey!!! :-) read more

I am very picky and a perfectionist! I wanted someone who would take my very elaborate wedding invitation design and make it WOW! Stacey did just that. She got the colors right, the text right, the fonts, the extra designs and wedding suite right. She is so easy to work with and believe me, this invite went through many, many, drafts, additions, revisions etc :)! Whatever I wanted, she made it happen. She went above the call of duty by making photograph watermarks for me (to put the guest's seating charts on), table markers and menu cards...I could go on and on; but you won't know just how fabulous she is until you book her yourself! read more

When our wedding plans for our wine country wedding went down the drain, my fiance and i had no idea what to do.I quickly went on the search and put together a local San Francisco Wedding .I found the perfect venue for the ceremony @ The Shakespeare Garden In Golden Gate Park. But after finding the perfect in budget location we still needed rentals and someone that i could trust to put it all together and run smoothly...DRAMA FREE no aunties or mama could take on this task. i needed someone that i knew could handle the challenges without any stress or complaint. So i went on the search on Yelp, and I got the referral from a planner that was overwhelmed and booked for my less than two months away event in August , but she suggested Stacey and Co. From the first meeting at our ceremony site Joanna and Stacey were ready with ideas and design concept's. They were professional and friendly and helped me stay on time and on budget !!! Best of all they did it all DRAMA AND STRESS FREE!! Stacey and Joanna always were available via email or phone and ready to answer, and handle any and all questions or concerns that arise. The day of the wedding everything we had no worries, we were confident in both Joanna and Stacey! all of the details from the custom sign designed by Stacey to alert Golden Gate park patrons as well as my guest that a private wedding of Sam and Nicole was taking place, to the beautiful mahogany chairs adorned with Succulents and Orchids , it was so subtle and so perfect . Joanna was on top of everything even when one of our musicians had concerns if his parking meter ran out she quickly dashed over to take care of the issue and back to the ceremony site before anyone noticed.. i actually learned about it just a few weeks ago from the musician himself he raved about how calm she was. Everyone took notice to how she ran the order of the ceremony FLAWLESS!!! and We could not ask for anything more form Stacey & Joanna they did it all!! read more

We worked with Natalie Puljiz at Stacey & Co. Natalie was fantastic. We couldn't have asked for a better wedding planner. She was flexible, yet firm when she needed to be. Even though we hired her for day-of services, Natalie was a huge help when our first caterer backed out 3-weeks prior to the wedding. She kept us grounded, focused on finding a replacement, and made us feel completely comfortable. The day of the wedding, she handled the vendors with grace and efficiency, took care of all the little details, and even pitched in with decorating. She made our special day go off without a hitch, what more could you ask for? We would highly recommend Natalie to anyone looking to have a fabulous wedding. I loved working with Stacey personally. We were at our last chance of getting our wedding invitations out and once we talked to Stacey over the phone, she already sent us all these ideas and options. She just got us. Her attention to detail is very much appreciated. She was very easy to work with and responded immediately to every question. We received compliments from everyone that received an invitation. Stacey worked with us on every detail of our wedding invitations and the finished products were absolutely stunning. We found her after not getting any personalized attention at a larger stationary store and were thrilled by the quick responses and attention to detail. Stacey did a very professional job helping to plan our wedding and handling all the coordination the actual wedding day. Throughout the planning process she had good recommendations and all the vendors she recommended met expectations. She also designed the table names, the ceremony program flyers and the wedding place cards/favors and they were very classy and matched the mood of the wedding. She was extremely calm and handled all the matters very well during the wedding day: from finding a lighting vendor replacement when ours bailed on us (!), to handling late vendors and family melt downs. She even came the day after the wedding to assist with post-wedding activities and make sure everything was on track. Thank you Stacey! read more

Stacey is an amazing event planner, and was an absolute lifesaver at my wedding last October. I contacted Stacey about a month before the event with a huge to-do list and not enough time to get it done. Stacey was so easy to work with and quickly stepped in to help with all the last-minute details. Stacey was particularly skilled at taking our half-baked ideas, adding her own creative touch, and producing really beautiful results. She created lovely pathmarkers for the trail leading to our ceremony site, combining our pictures with a short story of our relationship. She also made placecards, table markers, and awesome favors (take-out boxes with candy and popcorn). As incredible as her work was leading up to the wedding, nothing compares to everything she did on the day of our wedding. Stacey picked up our cake, oversaw the set-up of two different locations (the ceremony and the reception), coordinated the shuttling of our guests, took pictures of our guests for the guestbook, and managed the timing of the whole event. At no time during the day did my husband and I have to deal with the details - we completely trusted Stacey and she executed to perfection. And, she did all of this while also accommodating our tight budget. Looking back, my husband and I can't believe that we almost didn't hire a wedding coordinator, and we feel so lucky that Stacey was there for us. Thanks Stacey! read more

My husband and I were just married 10/15/11 and were blessed to be able to worked with Joanna! From start to finish she has been thorough, very detailed oriented, and absolutely a dream! She was an amazing wedding coordinator. Throughout our wedding planning Joanna was very helpful. We were able to communicate via email, telephone, and even met many times throughout our planning. She was very prompt in answering our questions and gave us great ideas. Lastly, working with Joanna was especially a dream in the final week before our wedding. She really knows what she's doing and it shows! From tying up loose ends with other vendors, to running the show the day before and the day of, she does it with a smile on her face and a great attitude. We highly recommend Joanna wholeheartedly. By the end of the night, I remember my husband saying "Did you see Joanna? No matter how hectic things became, she stayed calm and did a great job." Stacey is wonderful and easy to work with. She planned my most beautiful wedding in San Francisco and it was an absolute fairy tale wedding. I even used Stacey & Co for my invitations and my thank you stationary. One of the things I like about Stacey, is she has so many resources AND great prices. I went with every 'first' suggestion of hers (even if I checked out a second or third, I ended up going with her original suggestion.) Our reception was at the Westin St. Francis, in the St. Francis Suite- amazing! I couldn't be happier with the way everything turned out. I think the thing that I loved most about Stacey was working with her via internet and phone, since I was not in the area while planning. Because of her, I was probably the most calm bride. She sent photos and links for ideas and she was very quick to respond to my questions and comments. She is highly organized and budget-conscientious You cannot go wrong with Stacey. The event was a success largely due to their coordination, orchestration and attention to detail. Thanks Stacey! read more

Let's get to the point: RUN, don't walk, to hire Stacey as your wedding planner! I got married a week ago at the beautiful Cavallo Point in Sausalito. Although I had planned to wing it on my own (how hard could it be to plan a wedding in 2 months?), I am forever grateful for my fiance's foresight and wisdom. He insisted we hire someone to plan and execute our (ok, mainly mine) vision. Because we live in Houston, Texas, it was absolutely imperative that we hire a company local to San Francisco area. I hired Stacey after speaking to her on the phone. She was professional, patient, and very responsive to my questions and ideas. I felt like she understood what I wanted from the beginning. Stacey didn't even complain about the fact that I only gave her two months to pull everything together! Stacey is very creative and detail oriented. With the help of Pinterest, we came up with a theme for the wedding and ironed out all the details with one face to face meeting and many emails and texts. I love that Stacey is persistent and will stop at nothing to execute the vision of her clients. I was so impressed when she drove around town trying to find reclaimed wood to make these beautifully rustic directional signs. Stacey could have easily purchased something from Etsy, but she wanted to stick to our "green" theme and create something unique for us. On the day of the wedding, I was not stressed at all. I knew Stacey had everything under control and even if something didn't go as planned, she would take care of it. She possesses a calm, cool demeanor that makes you feel like everything will be ok. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect! We were convinced that Stacey talked to the powers that be and willed a beautiful, sunny, cloudless and windless day for us! Every guest raved about the details Stacey put together, from the directional signs, the flowers, the place settings to the beautiful ribbon wands! We are so happy and feel extremely fortunate to have Stacey by our side in planning our beautiful wedding. Stacey, a heartfelt thank you for everything you've done! read more

I have told people over and over again that hiring Stacey as our day-of coordinator was the best decision we made in the wedding planning process. I am writing this on my friends' account. I do not usually yelp but I was so disappointed. I wanted other brides to have a warning. Jen from dreams on a dime referred me to Stacey. Stacey wrote me an email and we chatted on the phone. She assured me she could/would help me. She promised to send me a budget, discuss my invitations and send ideas to brighten up a dark venue. The next days she sent a text that her email was down. Fine. Then I email her a few days later. She promises the info-- I never hear from her again. Before I realized she was going to disappear on me, I told other planners that I had found someone since she confirmed that she was available on my wedding day. Very unprofessional and disappointing!! I thought she was going to be a great help. Laura read more

Stacey was our day-of/month-of coordinator for our wedding a few weeks ago at the Brazilian Room. Working with Stacey was very easy for me because she and I are both very easygoing people. If you are the kind of couple that needs a response to your email within 24 hours, I would maybe consider going with someone else, or contracting with Stacey for a more inclusive "planning" package. But I personally feel like I got what I bargained for with Stacey: The wedding day, from my perspective, went off without a hitch. Stacey did a good job of keeping the event moving, and she even went above and beyond in a couple respects. First, she brought a couple of her own props for event decor, which I really appreciated. Second, she took initiative in placing all of the decor items I brought with me, and I really liked how everything was styled. Third, she picked up and took home the linens, which was a big help to me and the caterer, who had way too much going on already. Honestly, the only reason I am giving 4/5 rather than 5/5 is because a couple guests said Stacey wasn't responsive to their questions - I don't feel strongly about this one way or the other because I felt like she was responsive to me and my husband, and that's what mattered most at the end of the day. Anyway, I really like Stacey and I think she's very good at her job. My take away from our wedding was that getting married at the Brazilian Room is kind of a pain in the booty for a number of reasons, and several of the vendors were annoyed about it. At the end of the day, I wouldn't have done anything differently, so I really can't complain. read more

We had Stacey and Natalie work on our wedding in August and I cannot recommend them more. I was planning my wedding from Washington DC, my mother was helping from Oklahoma, and the wedding was in Montara. Stacey and Company took care of every tiny logistical detail. They constructed my centerpieces after I shipped the raw materials to them (lavender filled mason jars with votive candles inside), allowed me to ship supplies to them, brought them to the wedding, and set them up: s'mores, guest book, etc. and allowed us to borrow materials from their extensive collection: burlap, lanterns, and so much more. Natalie made sure everything ran on schedule, was totally organized and professional, and understood exactly what we wanted the wedding to be. Their coordination made my day absolutely perfect. read more
