Stacey was phenomenal! I would recommend her to anyone, and especially if your event is at Outdoor Art Club. I worked with her for day/month-of coordination for my wedding. We met a few times in the months leading up to check in about my plans and for her to offer suggestions and guidance. All her recommendations were excellent, from timeline details to referring other vendors. She knows the Outdoor Art Club (a historic building) inside and out, so I was able to relax completely and not worry about their rules and requirements at all, trusting that Stacey had it covered. I made things more complicated by having our ceremony at a nearby park instead of OAC, but even with that added everything went absolutely perfectly. She also did an excellent job setting up all the decorations to make the room look gorgeous, and packing it all up for us at the end of the night, including a mail order Photo Booth that had to be packed just right back in its original box. She also had a number of decorations we could use (frames for signage, a card box, some candles, candelabras and votives, blankets for the ceremony) that were incredibly helpful. She had all the logistics and details covered, letting us and our families just enjoy the night and float through each different part without any worries! As the bride, I didn't think about anything but celebrating all night, and that is all thanks to Stacey's expertise. She also did our save the dates and invitations, as well as much of the signage for the wedding itself, and they were all beautiful. She did all of our paper supplies for our wedding: save the date cards, invitations, programs, table markers, name cards, etc. She was very accommodating and she worked within our budget and respected our budget, which was very important to me. We got sooo many compliments on our invitations and had people telling us how unique they were and how much our invitations stood out amongst the 10 others on their refrigerator (we got married at the most popular time of year apparently). But the real reason for the 5 star review is how incredible she was as our day-of coordinator. We forgot the marriage license, challah bread, and didn't have enough red wine for the night and Stacey fixed everything. She literally ran to Safeway for us to get what we needed and she calmed me down because I was freaking out about the things we had forgotten (this was 10 min before the ceremony was set to begin!) When we first began planning our wedding, we realized we were in over our heads and we needed help! We had initially been looking for someone to give us an economical hand with general assistance and after our first meeting/interview with Stacey, we really appreciated her honesty, her ability to get to know us as a couple (and our style) and we hired her right away! When I first talked to Stacey she seemed really positive, responsive, and was willing to work in my somewhat limited budget. So for that she gets an extra star. But here's the thing, that was a MONTH AGO. I was going to hire her to help me find a venue plus day of coordination. My wedding is only a few months away so I didn't exactly have time to wait around on that decision. She said she would drum up a proposal. A week went by...Nothing. So I emailed her, she said she'd get back to me shortly and that the weather of another bride's wedding was making things hectic. Stacey is an amazing event planner, and was an absolute lifesaver at my wedding last October. I contacted Stacey about a month before the event with a huge to-do list and not enough time to get it done. Let's get to the point: RUN, don't walk, to hire Stacey as your wedding planner! I got married a week ago at the beautiful Cavallo Point in Sausalito. With the help of Pinterest, we came up with a theme for the wedding and ironed out all the details with one face to face meeting and many emails and texts. If you are the kind of couple that needs a response to your email within 24 hours, I would maybe consider going with someone else, or contracting with Stacey for a more inclusive "planning" package. But I personally feel like I got what I bargained for with Stacey: The wedding day, from my perspective, went off without a hitch. Stacey did a good job of keeping the event moving, and she even went above and beyond in a couple respects. First, she brought a couple of her own props for event decor, which I really appreciated. Second, she took initiative in placing all of the decor items I brought with me, and I really liked how everything was styled. Third, she picked up and took home the linens, which was a big help to me and the caterer, who had way too much going on already. Honestly, the only reason I am giving 4/5 rather than 5/5 is because a couple guests said Stacey wasn't responsive to their questions - I don't feel strongly about this one way or the other because I felt like she was responsive to me and my husband, and that's what mattered most at the end of the day. Anyway, I really like Stacey and I think she's very good at her job. My take away from our wedding was that getting married at the Brazilian Room is kind of a pain in the booty for a number of reasons, and several of the vendors were annoyed about it. I was content full using this service because the Gentle lady Jessica was knowledgeable to arrange and co-coordinating our wedding very well indeed. One of my friend amazed Jessica's team affords and he determined that he will use this service. I am writing this on my friends' account. I do not usually yelp but I was so disappointed. I wanted other brides to have a warning. Jen from dreams on a dime referred me to Stacey. Stacey wrote me an email and we chatted on the phone. She assured me she could/would help me. She promised to send me a budget, discuss my invitations and send ideas to brighten up a dark venue. The next days she sent a text that her email was down. Fine. Then I email her a few days later. She promises the info-- I never hear from her again. Before I realized she was going to disappear on me, I told other planners that I had found someone since she confirmed that she was available on my wedding day. We had Stacey and Natalie work on our wedding in August and I cannot recommend them more. I was planning my wedding from Washington DC, my mother was helping from Oklahoma, and the wedding was in Montara. Stacey and Company took care of every tiny logistical detail. They constructed my centerpieces after I shipped the raw materials to them (lavender filled mason jars with votive candles inside), allowed me to ship supplies to them, brought them to the wedding, and set them up: s'mores, guest book, etc. and allowed us to borrow materials from their extensive collection: burlap, lanterns, and so much more. Natalie made sure everything ran on schedule, was totally organized and professional, and understood exactly what we wanted the wedding to be. We brought Stacey on to coordinate our wedding over Memorial Day weekend in Monterey. Although we were only looking for someone to help with "day-of" stuff she did so much more.
