Once they finally showed up, they didn't even bother with measurements and just glanced around, threw out an outrageous number, then left. Nobody bothered to respond to any of my follow up questions or messages. This company has a good reputation, but I don't know how. They want to charge three times as much as out other quotes for lesser quality product and work. After dealing with this company, it is them who is the lesser quality and we suggest going elsewhere.

The workers (Daniel and Daniel), were extremely professional and hard working. They started as early as we were ok with and left late in the evening. We are early risers so they started between 0600 and 0700 every day and worked late. We were first and foremost extremely amazed at the true strong work ethics of these men. Cleaned up before they left daily and left also cleaning up after themselves. We have to give them a Five Stars for this. We wanted to wait a month to actually write the review to really see how our new foam insulation would help. However we knew in the first week that we had made the right decision to go with Summit Green Solutions! Previously our 4400 sq. foot home had either the AC or Heat seemingly to run all the time. Now our home is so well insulated, the heat does not run as much as last year. The ONLY regret we have, is that we did not do this last year! While it may cost you now to put it in, it will save you $$$ in the long run for AC/Heat! We cannot recommend this company enough!!!

I can assure you the owner isn't out doing residential consults in Columbia. Jeremy did a good job explaining total cost of the system, including federal and state credits. Renu made the process of getting all permits, permission from my HOA, etc lined up. There were only a couple of hiccups but he warned me about one. He designed a system large enough to get a special credit from them but said it might not be approved by Dominion Energy. He was right. They made us downsize a little. install went well, except for one connection inside a panel box in the attic that wasn't secure. It shorted after a few days of operation and the system properly shut down. which brings us to my biggest problem with them. Service is not swift. I really felt like they didn't care, since they had already made their dime off me. It took 3 weeks before they could come and get me running again. That was a bummer to have a brand new system not even functioning. aside from service responsiveness, I'm very happy with Renu. Recommended.

For a part to be repaired on a system they installed, they took over a month on multiple repairs over the last couple years. So if you are paying for Solar, know a panel or multiple one if they fail will not produce power you paid for. The part comes in from the servicing company, then you must call them, that is an issue. Once they do call or email, it is hey will will be there this day. It comes and goes, then no response as to why they did not come. Well guess what, they still have not repaired the system, and still does not respond to emails. Make sure the solar company that installs does not use this company.

Brandon came out first and explained in detail what was wrong with my very old a/c unit. He explained all options with me and the costs for repair and replacement. He was very courteous, knowledgeable, and easy to understand. It was less expensive to replace the unit. He also explained the 6 months no finance charge plan with me. That worked out perfectly as well. Then came Nick, Owen, Chris, Jeremy, Jacob, and Kyle to complete the work. The office staff, Vanessa. Michelle, and Ashley were also very helpful and extremely courteous. The timing was perfect and they ALL worked together and made sure that my air conditioning unit and ductwork was installed with perfection. The cost was also unbelievably low. After installation, the airflow was a little loud when the fan blowed. No problem. They came right back out with a week and installed a new vent so the airflow would be more quiet. It was perfect.
