I was in the neighborhood and I needed to use the bathroom so I decided to walk into this place to use the bathroom and the bartender said she would have to charge me a dollar to use the bathroom .. Really How low can u go. read more

The crowd is young and place is rarely dead. It's also not a dive but drinks aren't too expensive. They do allow beer pong and associated fratty games. Sometimes it gets a little rowdy. Had an issue with a security guard and his asshole friend. It's basically a frathouse but with more jersey people. Fuck jersey. read more

This place is a definite MUST go to when you are looking for a chill, cool kick back vibe. All the staff is amazing, the bartenders, the bouncers, they are truly lovely and know how to treat the patrons. I love the beer pong table, I had so much fun and I love the music they play. I would've given a 5 star but when I ordered my Mac and Cheese (which in bars, usually is super good... it's like my favorite), well anyway when my mac and cheese came out, I was super disappointed when it was KRAFT macaroni and cheese. Lol. But besides that, this bar is the BEST when it comes to the workers, atmosphere and drinks. read more

I simply like it cause it's big & less crowds. Bar food is decent. Drinks are moderately cheap. Great time with friends!

Literally part of New York's bro-bar family (Jake's Dilemma, Down the Hatch, etc.), this place feels like Off the Wagon's plainer cousin. Equally ridiculous specials, perhaps even more of them (the super happy hours can change by the hours and switch day and night). Equally impressive beer pong facilities (several tables available upstairs. But something is not the same--the crowd is too mixed, the lighting not dim enough to obscure reality, and it happens to be next door to Fat Black Pussy Cat, which is a much more interesting (albeit inexplicably snooty) establishment. read more

Decent bar experience and it seems like it would be a steal on most weekday nights. Monday nights offer $2 drafts! We came last night on a Friday night and prices were pretty standard bar prices. I got their beer of the month, which was called Curious Traveler, and it was delicious! I have to go out and find it now. It tasted like half Shock Top and half lemonade. I usually like darker beers but this one was surprisingly good. read more

It's a dive bar. If I were just looking for a place to hang out with my friends, I'd choose here. It's just a place to drink and hang out.

Nice happy hour hangout. Lots of drink specials on weekdays. Big after-work crowd. Mixed ages. Best part of the bar are the drinking games upstairs (beano, darts, beer pong/flip cup table) read more

Half-priced beers for Sunday football? Yes please. This place definitely does the trick for any Sunday Funday...cheap and plentiful drinks, tons of TVs, everything you need. Now, if we can just work on these Pats fans... read more

Been here a few times either on a Saturday night or during the day for food. Drink prices are awesome during happy hour. There is a beer pong tables in the back, but they tend to move them on Saturday nights. Upstairs also has the tables. It gets pretty crowded on a sat night and especially during football games. I abs love the wings and tator tots. It's pretty great. This establishment is more for grabbing a drink and chatting with friends, not a lot of room to dance. So if you're looking for a dance scene, maybe off the wagon which is there sister location. Def a must try here though. read more

Chill spot. Like the late happy hour. Def a fun time . Love the different games and that there are a few levels. Once you get a beer pong table try to hold on to it cause you wont get it back lol read more

I was a little disappointed in this place. I felt like the other reviews made it out to be more than what it was. I like how I was able to watch the Yankees game there and the server, she was nice but was little more attentive to every table but mine. Maybe it had to do with the fact that the other tables were filled with men only?? Idk. It took 10 minutes to finally be given an opportunity to place an order and after waiting at least 25 minutes just for my 1 drink, my server checked on me and I kindly told her to cancel my order. At this point I was just over it and didn't feel like I should wait longer than what I already did and I just wasn't feeling it in there and just wanted to leave. So I did. Maybe one night I'll give it another try if I'm up for it but I wouldn't count on it. I've been to other bars where it felt more comfortable and inviting. read more

I've decided I've give too much money to this management company. They own: The Stumble Inn, Off the Wagon, Gin Mill, Jake's Dilemma, Down the Hatch, Eat, Drink & Be Merry, and The 13th Step. In many of these establishments, (and I use that term lovingly) you can watch any NY sports team with rabid fans. Heaven forbid you root for the other guy as some poor Capitals fan learned this week. It is never out of line to grab a pitcher and get into beer pong. I don't agree with all of their posted rules, but that's for another time. I don't know about the other bars, but 3 Sheets donates a portion of their profits every month to charity. You can suggest where they should donate by e-mailing them at 3sheetsnyc@gmail.com. Now if I can just parlay drinking into a tax deduction... read more

I may have stopped in here during a bad night, but my previous time here wasnt the greatest either. You may be better off going with beer because the mixed drinks are really watered down. People behind me at the bar felt the exact same way and complained to the waitress, She told them that everyone receives the same amount of alcohol. I will not give up on this place however, it has a ton of potential. I will try the bar food during happy hour and update this review as needed. Cheers read more

- great happy hour till 8pm - a bit crowded - beer pong tables on the second floor - attentive bartenders - good beers - friendly people what more could you ask for? read more

This place has beer pong tables and beer pong rules affixed to the wall. It's that kind of place. No judgement, just facts. We arrived late afternoon on a Saturday. The ground floor was super crowded so we almost bailed but then we saw the stairs. We wandered up them and were met by a nearly empty floor and a bar all our own. The bartender was super friendly and, even though they didn't have a very good selection of craft ales, they did appear to have a good selection of Sam Adam's mixed in with their Coors offerings. They also have their menu affixed to the wall so after getting comfortable at a high table we ordered cottage fries and chicken fingers. And then another order of chicken fingers. We must've been hungry plus they were hitting the spot. While we were sitting there, enjoying our peace in the nice 2nd floor bar, the frat kids started entering en masse. First, it was just pitchers of beer for their beer pong games. And then the crowd started in with their Santa hats. The noise level erupted, the crowds became rude, the bartender became stressed and we needed to get out of there. Perhaps we entered a frat bar during a lull or perhaps the frat kids just decided to take over a normal bar but it ruined the place for me. I might go back again but I might not. I don't like frat kids or the scene they tend to surround themselves with. And, with the beer pong situation at this place, I can't help but think we entered a frat kids bar during a lull, which makes me think we won't be coming back. But, this place without the frat kids was really nice. Five beers (two Bluepoints and 3 Sam Adam's') plus two orders of chicken fingers and one cottage fries was only $40. That's a screaming deal. And, the bar itself is a great space, especially the 2nd level. Too bad about the frat kids though. read more

My review is based on weeknight Happy Hour. The bar itself isn't much to talk about, but you can't beat $3.50 Jameson & Gingerale, or other mixed drinks. I usually come here after work with colleagues and go upstairs. There is another bar area and pong tables, and a bit of seating. If your on a budget and don't care much for ambiance, then your in luck. read more

Been here 2 times so far. Both times I had something to eat. I definitely recommend the buffalo chicken wrap, it was priced decently and tasted soo good! It came with perfectly crunchy tater tots too =) The 2nd time I had the buffalo chicken quesadilla and it was yummy! The waitresses I had both times were amazing, very friendly and personable. My bf enjoyed the multiple tvs where he was mesmerized by college football and such...uggh. Bathrooms are pretty clean, and thats always a plus. Drinks are priced reasonably, music is ok, just ok. Friendly place, definitely would come back. Oh yeah, the kitchen is open until 4 am too! read more

Marginally better than Off the Wagon (same owners), though I did like it better when it was called Town Tavern. Hang out upstairs, though it's dark and there are beer pong tables in everyone's way. Because it's close to the W4th train station, there will always be a line outside of people trying to leave WV, but deciding they should go here instead. Come early, if at all, but don't expect anything great... unless you're still a college kid. read more

eh. They're simply enticing ya'll to come here with their drink specials. You cannot beat their drink specials - saturday the whole effn bar is half off until 8PM. yea, thats right. You want to get warmed up at half off drinks, come here. My homey went ahead and got himself a pitcher for head, just to kick start the night. I never thought I'd say he was smart, but that was prolly the best move that cat ever made. Aside from that, I probably wouldn't spend a ton of time here, just cause the bar was kinda narrow and unless I'm with my honey, I'm not diggin tight bars, I dont like when weird people touch me. But they did a good job accomodating the 50+ cats we brought in, didn't have to wait too long for a drink...wait....I never have to wait too long for a drink - scratch that part of my review unless youre a hottie. yea, I said it. read more

Wandered into this place on a Saturday night to catch some NCAA action. It was one of those weird crowds where middle aged men were high fiving and chest bumping....I guess that's March(Actually it's April) Madness. Drinks were pretty cheap, service was decent....except for the bartenders working the floor. My god, if you hate your job so much go work at the Gap. read more

Not a bad place, came here on a Saturday with some of my buddies. We didnt order and food or liquor. All we had was beer so I guess you can't really go wrong with it. It was kinda empty for a Saturday night, but whatever no big deal. We jumped on the beer pong table to play some games and I know the waitress whiped down and cleaned the table before we used it, so that was nice of them. Overall I liked the place, I just wish there was some more ppl there but oh well maybe it was a bad night for them read more

Came here briefly on a Saturday night to play beer pong. They have two tables in the rear, and it wasn't too crowded when we went (a little after midnight), so we were able to snag a game. Tables were kinda disgusting.. Puddles of beer and dirty cups everywhere. I was completely sober, so maybe it looked especially gross to me... Also people were dancing in the middle of the bar, but not enough where it would be a place to come dance. Pitchers were $14 each. Don't really see myself coming back.. maybe for another game of beer pong or for a cheap happy hour, but this is place is pretty typically fratty like a million other bars in this area. read more

Fun spot if you're trying to watch the game, play some beer pong or grab some drinks in the West Village. There's specials everyday of the week except Fridays, so make sure you check those out. Most are until 8pm (extended happy hour) but Thursdays has deals until they close. Note - Haven't tried the food yet as I anticipate its standard bar fare, but will update after I try it out. read more

So many awesome memories here. Steady turnover with staff but they're all pretty good for the most part. Places like this make me feel like a college kid again. And when you see some of their awesome specials you'll see prices you probably haven't seen since college! So cheap! The food here is standard bar fare. Some of it is downright lousy but they also have some great, artery clogging, greasy, flavor explosion things on the menu. Like the buffalo chicken nachos. Throw that much meat and cheese on anything and it's bound to be half decent. read more

Emily was a great server! She was very kind and funny. Great energy from her. The place it's self had good music playing not to low and not to loud. Happy hour in Wednesday was great! Definitely will be back when on bleaker street. read more

This place gets crowded fast! They have tons of great drink specials during happy hour though, and they have beer pong tables both upstairs and downstairs. It's a bit too loud for me, but I shouldn't have picked this spot to catch up with an old friend. The music was bad ! Old 90s (and the good memorable stuff). It's a good place to drink if you're bar hopping. I wouldn't play beer pong here tho..it didn't look too sanitary. read more

Had a great time here...from whatever I can remember of it. Spent Christmas Eve 2011 here and it went into Christmas early morning. Visiting the city from Hawai'i - it was a nice escape to be enjoying libations with friends I had just met and a friend from High School. The bartender was a great guy - even let me log into the wifi there - we got to FaceTime with friends back home from the bar. Good stuff! read more

What a fun place! The food was very good- I really enjoyed my Lido burger and fries. (For those starting to notice my ongoing 'well-done' burger saga, I'm pleased to report that 3 Sheets cooked my burger all the way through the 1st time- I didn't have to send it back!!! Yay! :) They have some great drink specials through out the week too. We went on a Monday and happy hour pretty much goes from 2pm-close with $2/ $3 drafts and $3 shots. My friend and I had a few shots- the Washington Apple shot seemed a bit weak (which doesn't surprise me since the shots were on sale), but it was still good, as was the cinnamon whiskey shot we both did! I was also pleased with my amaretto stone sour. (I'm a bartender so I appreciate a well made drink!) The place has a high energy vibe, which I love! They had beer pong tables set up in the back of the bar and a big jenga for people to play with! Next time, I will definitely partake of the monster-sized Jenga! :) I heard a lot of 90's music playing overhead, which I enjoyed. There were many people getting pretty drunk, very early! My kind of place! Woo hoo! And our server Christina was very friendly, attentive and accommodating! I look forward to visiting this place again! read more

The entire time I'm here, my pretentious self keeps thinking: 'what if someone sees me here?' Then I think, well they'd be here too so we could just leave it at 'what happens at 3 sheets, stays at 3 sheets.' I really want to hate it as I do all of their sister establishments, but on a weeknight, you could do worse, at least in the departments of price & bar food. The cheese fries, quesadila, burgers are typical bar grub but just seem to really hit the spot here. Prices are so low I feel like they are begging me to get loaded. Really friendly waitresses & bartenders. They, too just seem dying to get drunk & take more shots with you than those they serve you. So I posted it on the interwebs: yeah, I go to 3 sheets. read more

Been here plenty of times. They have tables in the front, as well as a bar on both floors. Music can be a little loud sometimes, even during happy hour, but it suits the crowd, which seems to be 21-30 years old. High energy, friendly bartenders and bouncers- no complaints ever. They have some typical, good bar food options and the kitchen Stays open late, which is always a plus. Everything at the bar is 1/2 off til 8pm and they have an array of "til closing" specials pretty much every night, as well as beer pong tables too. Kind of place my friends and I can spend a few hours drinking and hanging out. read more

Good hangout spot. Covid restrictions doesn't let you have more than 10 people. No specials like before
