OK you gotta figure something's not right about a brewery that is EMPTY at 6pm on a Friday. Why? Well their choice of beer was slim. The one I chose was not good at all. The vibe was LOUD. LOUD with punk music that we could not even have a conversation. Bartender was just ok....seemed like he was going through the motions. You can pass this one bye.

Not good....avoid this place. The beers were terrible, I sampled a seltzer, it tasted so artificial and I could barely finish it. I ended up ordering michelada, it was also really bad and watered down. My husband had a coupon from a T-shirt subscription for here that doesn't expire, the guy working at 3 Pink Brewing refused to let us use the coupon, then lied and gave us the run around and claimed they were never part of the subscription club and that the 3 Punk Brewing logo was used without permission. This guy was clearly lying through his teeth. Our group of friends that were with us hated their beers from here as well and just left almost full glasses. Another friend had a seltzer that was really bad and tasted off and asked the worker if she could exchange it for another drink and was refused and had to pay full price for another drink. This is a waste of space, don't waste your time and money here, there are so much better breweries elsewhere.

The interior had an interesting vibe, and the location itself seemed promising. I brought along an old Shirts on Tap coupon from a previous subscription; the kind where you get a brewery-themed shirt and a voucher each month. These coupons don't expire, but apparently that didn't matter. When I asked about using it, the server informed me, quite confidently, that the brewery was never part of the program, and that Shirts on Tap had simply decided to print their branding and distribute coupons entirely on their own initiative. A bold claim, to be sure. Whether that's actually true or just an impressively creative excuse, I'll leave to the imagination. As for the beer: entirely forgettable. I tried one of their IPA offerings, which landed squarely in the "mid" category. I also sampled a few beers and seltzers my friends ordered; some of which were, quite frankly, undrinkable. One friend even requested to swap out a particularly bad seltzer (I think it was watermellon, and it was full of lots of off flavors), but was flatly denied. We ended up leaving a few mostly-full glasses behind and moved on to a brewery that seemed more interested in serving drinkable beverages and perhaps, honoring their own branding. If you do end up here, I would avoid the seltzers.

Super chill and lowkey spot! Old school vibe, limited choice of alcohol (10 different kinds) which I enjoy because you don't get overwhelmed in trying to find one that suits your taste buds best. Personally, I recommend coming here if you're just looking to talk, enjoy alone time, or even to do school/work. LGBTQ+ and pet friendly as well

Interior (front where you order), back wall with the black tile looks sick

Cool spot in Little Italy! Fast and friendly service. The tables and floor are clean (not sticky like other places). The structure of the place is beautiful with big open windows that allow sunlight to peek through and there's bench seating available as well. There's tall tables and regular ones as well. The interior has an emphasis of gold detailing, black tiles, and punk band wallpapers. The music is nice and relates to their theme, it's not overly loud like a club which is nice -- since you can hold conversations here! Their pint glasses have a nice thickness at the lip and a solid base. It also has their logo in a cool red font! They have unique beer selections and even flavored seltzers! Swing by and try them out, alone or with friends!

The selection could benefit from some beefing up. They had about 8 beers on tap and all were pretty similar styles. The Oktoberfest was pretty good but It wouldve been nice to see something beyond the standard sorts of beers that everybody has. The potential is there, it just needs some oomph. Beertender was friendly though.

Brought Not Not tacos in with me for a fabulous IPA

My wife and I were in San Diego for Memorial Day and we decided to get some of Sam the Cooking Guy's tacos and bring them to a new tap room we haven't been to before. It was only about three blocks away. I ordered an IPA from the nice bartender and sat down with my meal and he had Mad Max Fury on the TV, gotta love all of it. The whole atmosphere was perfect in Little Italy. The IPAs were hoppy and perfect (I ordered a second one) I also got a couple of stickers to trade with my brother-in-law. The tacos were a splendid complement to the beer and it was a solid meal in paradise.

Sipping on a cold one. The Oktoberfest was excellent.

Hell yeah this place rocks literally. If you like beer and punk rock check out this new local dive not dive bar. The second location of this business. Stretching thier reach outside of Chula Vista. It's a small bar with a locals vibe. The art and decor are classic punk so get your punk ass down here and support local.

3 Punk Ales is located in the heart of Little Italy off India Street, serving up some of the finest beers on tap! I recently came here for their grand opening and was blown away by their selection of beers and seltzers they have to offer. Inside the decor and ambiance is a very clean modern-day look with fancy wall paper through out the fine establishment. They have a large screen TV playing music for your entertainment with ample seating throughout the place. Their main brewery is located in Chula Vista, where they brew the beer and decided to branch out in Americas finest city's downtown in Little Italy. I came in twice so far and tried their premium Mexican lager as well as the San Diego lager named 3rd Avenue. I also had their grape soda, which is a seltzer, and it was quite refreshing. The menu is posted up, which has the name and description of the beverages with alcohol content and price. The customer service was indeed second to none and provided service with a smile. The prices for beer were fair, and the quality was superb! I'm looking forward to coming back again and trying the Italian pilsner or Italian soda. There is a restroom on site and and outside food is authorized to bring in. Please check out this place and bring your pup since they are dog friendly. Familia x Cerveza x Musica x Fiesta

I had to leave a review right away bc I was so impressed by this place. First of all, they are…read moreextremely dog friendly. The inside is gorgeous and there's a spot especially for dogs outside. Their outdoor seating with patio is beautiful! This place is absolutely divine! At this point, I dont really care about how the food tastes. Lol! Let's start off with the one problem i had with this place. The parking!!! It took me 20m to find parking and im not about to park my car on the street. I have precious dogs! Lol kidding. I just couldn't find any parking on the street or in the block! I suppose i came during lunch which is probably really busy. When I left, there were quite a few opened parking spots. This place is connected to an apartment complex surrounding retail stores. The leasing building is right next to Gravity Heights. I used to rent a 4k+ a month apartment in a retail area and let me tell you, its a hassle to find parking and not take a retail parking spot without having your complex email you everyday about your car potentially being towed lol! I understand this pain. Now that we are past that, let's get to why this place deserves 5 stars. The service is excellent! My server came around at the perfect times and they seem to really care if I enjoyed my meal! The stellar atmosphere with attentive service is enough for me! I got a gravity burger protein style which I dont think did the burger justice. I was going to eat with my husband later at a Vietnamese restaurant and I can only choose one carb for the day. My diabetic life is tough! Lol. I chose the Cesar salad to go with my burger. My burger was delicious bc of the caramelized onions. I didn't really taste a sauce in the burger but the excellent bacon with the much needed caramelized onions made the burger fantastic! The IPA hazy beer i had with my meal was also light and mellow. I thoroughly enjoyed my time and meal. My babies also enjoyed their burger! The weather was perfect today and it was a nice time and to think I was not going to eat here bc the parking definitely was a huge deterrent. Next time ill bring human company!

Decided to stop by here to try out their happy hour and was not disappointed. Parking was fairly…read moreeasy and got a spot right outside the restaurant. We got sat right away in the happy hour area. As we were walking in I noticed the decor looked really nice and the ambience of the restaurant felt clean and modern. We ordered some happy hour cocktails to start and they were really strong (but tasty) in my opinion. Maybe I'm just lightweight though. We also ordered some oysters, the shrimp aguachile, and the smashburger to share which were all tasty. Service was good, our waitress was friendly and checked up on us. Overall a successful happy hour visit and would visit again as they seem to have a rotating menu.
