I ended up buying a beautiful barn coat and two 100% cotton sweaters. Go upstairs! That's where all the clearance items and bargains are. We bought a few cotton dresses on sale. Set aside some time. The mall is not completely desolate, as they are redoing the tiles on the floor, and there are still some shops open for business. However, most of the places are available for lease. Each time I return to the mall, most of the shops I remember from previous visits are no longer there. I must give Powerhouse Mall credit for hosting local fairs, having a hair salon, gym, random clothing boutiques, and an L.L. Bean store and outdoor gear store. They are still trying to maintain the nostalgic 2000s mall culture. Also they have beautiful decorations for Christmas. I really hope Powerhouse Mall survives and finds its way back to thriving like I'm sure it did not that long ago.
