We both have worked in the real estate industry for greater than 20 years, and when the time came to build our custom home, a lot of effort was put fourth in finding the right builder that encompassed all components, such as; interior design, architectural design, structural design, spatial design, general contracting, as well other things that typically require the homeowner to manage independently. Pettis Builders is truly A one stop operation that made everything incredibly easy throughout The entire process of the build. The craftsmanship, the attention to detail, and most importantly, the relationship built between us, and their team was just simply incredible! If you've never built a custom home, or if this is your first time, you will greatly appreciate who these people are, and how they make you feel like family throughout the process. The stress levels can get high when doing something like this. This is not new to them, they truly made it a wonderful process. We have now been in the home for nearly a year. We wake up every day so thankful for this beautiful home, and that our choice was Pettis Builders . So much thanks to Trey, Chad, Stephanie, Zane, Pam, and all of the wonderful contractors that they brought together to build this beautiful home, that starts the final chapter of our life !!

We have worked with a variety of contractors and Stratton exceeds them all. Are they the cheapest in town? No. But we have learned that a cheap quote doesn't equal the pain and strife of dealing with a whole lot of issues along the way. Stratton is professional, responsive, and quality. They always did what the said they would and let us know if there are delays and issues. We did go over budget and timeframe, but that's hard not to do when you are renovating in 2021. Special shout-out to Scott the Project Manager who is the easiest person to communicate with and an all around pleasant person. Also Regina was great when handling our bills and answering questions.

From before it started to after it finished, Bryan was professional, patient, and kind. We ended up refinancing with a loan that required additional hoops for Bryan to jump through, and he was timely and thorough in all that was asked of him by the lender. Also, Bryan's initial estimate only veered when he uncovered some prior damage to the house and when we altered what we wanted, there were no surprises. The work he did was incredible. We went from a 3/1 with a tiny kitchen and no real dining space or laundry area (both were contained to the kitchen area), to a 3/2 with a massive (to us) master suite, a beautiful kitchen, a dining area, and a laundry room. In addition, he oversaw the work on new siding, new windows and flooring throughout. I'm so glad we used Bryan and have/would recommend him to anyone looking to do work on their house.

During the addition build-out, his team actually discovered several issues that our original builder had done poorly and Bryan was super helpful connecting us with great sub-contractors to fix issues we wouldn't have seen until the damage was much worse. I would absolutely work with Bryan again on any home project.

After researching several builder/contractors with no call backs or being sent to computer…read moreanswering services, I was beginning to get frustrated. I wanted to build my dream garage after having retired from the Marine Corps. I ended up finding the right company after simply walking through my neighborhood. My neighbor had a barn built by StoltzCo and I drove by one day and met Justin Wright. Within an hour we were walking my property and relatively quickly we had a few ideas on paper. I had a good feeling "I can work with these guys" since there was no hard sell or pressure. Justin, JD Gorman, the Project Manager, and Aaron Rice, the excavation wizard, performed a site walk over at the beginning and we found a few issues with the original plan unfortunately. We were able to revise our original plan and contract. Although it added more money to the job, it was the right thing to do to ensure the Garage sat properly on my property and drained well after all the Tennessee rain storms. After that the project (barring the rain) moved forward with Ruben and his Framing and Metal crew working tirelessly. They were diligent and quick to call out any issues to JD who brought those issues to us with workable answers. JP and his Concrete guys also moved quickly and would point out snags and possibilities for a better result. Overall, the structure is built very well with solid craftsmanship and curb appeal. Being a retired military veteran, communication (good bad, ugly) and timely results is high on my priority list and JD and his team hit the mark every time. Building a structure will never be perfect or go exactly as planned, so that's why it is so important to work with solid communicators who you can trust to get to right solutions. That's JD and his team at StoltzCo.

I highly recommend Reformer Design Build Workshop for anything you want done to improve your home…read more Taylor has a keen eye for how to best utilize available space, and how to expand it to create what best meets your needs. We went into this process with a vague, "just need more space and storage" in our small home; Taylor actively looked for ways to personalize the project, and we emerged with a house that feels expansive and much more functional while keeping the spirit of a classic Inglewood cottage. They put a second archway between the dining room and the new kitchen, and even harvested the wood from the garage tear-down to make the siding for the addition! It was a great way to save the 100-year-old lumber, and it looks amazing. We found Taylor and his crew to be very easy to work with. Taylor clearly wants what is best for the client, is meticulous about details and workmanship, handles change orders easily, and overall made the experience much easier than I had anticipated. We were able to stay in the house through most of the project, which made it less stressful for our elderly cats. Taylor provided great communication throughout the process; he was quickly responsive to any concerns or problems, and handled them all with aplomb. Drew and Jake were the "core crew" on our project. They were clearly invested in the job, and lighthearted and good-humored throughout the process. They're very kind people, and I feel fortunate to have had them on our project. We had a great experience working with Reformer Design Build, and I now have more room (and natural light) than I ever dreamed of! I look forward to working with Taylor and crew again.
