After researching several builder/contractors with no call backs or being sent to computer answering services, I was beginning to get frustrated. I wanted to build my dream garage after having retired from the Marine Corps. I ended up finding the right company after simply walking through my neighborhood. My neighbor had a barn built by StoltzCo and I drove by one day and met Justin Wright.
Within an hour we were walking my property and relatively quickly we had a few ideas on paper. I had a good feeling "I can work with these guys" since there was no hard sell or pressure.
Justin, JD Gorman, the Project Manager, and Aaron Rice, the excavation wizard, performed a site walk over at the beginning and we found a few issues with the original plan unfortunately. We were able to revise our original plan and contract. Although it added more money to the job, it was the right thing to do to ensure the Garage sat properly on my property and drained well after all the Tennessee rain storms.
After that the project (barring the rain) moved forward with Ruben and his Framing and Metal crew working tirelessly. They were diligent and quick to call out any issues to JD who brought those issues to us with workable answers. JP and his Concrete guys also moved quickly and would point out snags and possibilities for a better result.
Overall, the structure is built very well with solid craftsmanship and curb appeal.
Being a retired military veteran, communication (good bad, ugly) and timely results is high on my priority list and JD and his team hit the mark every time. Building a structure will never be perfect or go exactly as planned, so that's why it is so important to work with solid communicators who you can trust to get to right solutions. That's JD and his team at StoltzCo. read more
