I stopped here on a road trip, and to be honest I'm not sure how it attracts so many people way out here, but it is awesome. The area is wooded and gorgeous, and there are picnic tables for seating. The ice cream is DELICIOUS and they have both soft and hard (hand dipped) ice cream. The flavors are so good I'm tempted to make the 2 hour trek from Dc from time to time just for this. They have no stickers indicating they take cards so I panicked briefly, but they definitely do accept them. Great prices, great service!!!!

Great location, and friendly service. The ice cream, I thought, was just ok. But that's just my opinion on the milkshake. Great parking with a park in the backyard, I'm sure the locals love it.

Probably one of the best kept secrets in Leigh Valley. A wonderful ice cream parlor and the blueberry sundae is phenomenal. A mix of fresh and macerated blueberries, vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, crushed peanuts was devine. And for $5 what a steal.

We spotted 3B on the way to Lake Tobias Wildlife Park and decided to stop by on the way home. Once I saw the sign "Blueberry Sundae," I was sold. 3B has 4 locations: this one, which is the original and opened up back in 1969, one in Duncannon and two in Harrisburg. Back in the day, they made their own ice cream but now they serve 13 flavors from Turkey Hill and 18 flavors from Gallikers of Johnstown. One of the Gallikers flavors- "Almond Joy"- is made exclusively for 3B. This location is right off the Appalachian Trail. Pretty cool. Plenty of parking, picnic tables and even a port-a-potty. Great service and huge portions.

Bit expensive but definitely a good place to go when it's hot and you want that creamy cold feeling in your mouth

The blueberry sundaes are the best but they also offer sandwiches, chips, and slushies.

Fire & Ice Smokehouse & Creamery is the Real Deal !…read more We spent the afternoon at Lake Tobias and wanted to stop and have dinner somewhere on the way home and based upon Yelp Reviews, this was our place to stop at, and it did not disappoint ! What a charming and amazing local restaurant owned by a husband and wife and I had the opportunity to meet the wife who is just a very nice individual and took the time to explain a few things that we had questions on and we really appreciated that. They have plenty of seating for large groups and small groups and we were lucky enough to get a table that held our nine people. Plenty of parking outside and in the back for overflow parking and they do have a little area out front where if you wanted to sit at a picnic table under an umbrella, you can it's a very nice little area. The inside is extremely clean and very neatly decorated, and the smell of the barbecue is incredible. We ordered a full rack of ribs, and they are definitely fall off the bone full of flavor with an array of various sauces for every taste and naturally had to try each one of them and they are all very good and they make it in-house, which is a bonus ! The mac & cheese is completely off the chain very very flavorful and we tried the regular and not to smoke which I'm sure is just incredibly tasty. The tater tots are done perfectly the other folks that we were dining with, got an assorted meat platter, which was bountiful of various meats and just looked incredibly delicious and they loved it. Almost forgot with a rack of ribs. You get a square of their homemade cornbread, which was delicious. The service is impeccable and as soon as we are done eating, they make their own ice cream and you need to go over and take a look at all the different selections of ice cream they have and we opted for the s'mores and one other one and it was really really good ice cream. We do highly recommend stopping here, all of the food looks good and is done with love you can tell that.

We are in line the first day of spring and continue to visit all year until the season ends. About a month ago I called the corporate office because we ordered large sundaes and you couldn't even see the custard above the small indentation in the bottom of the bowl. By picture and other locations we knew this was not a large. When I asked the young lady she argued with me in front of a line of people that a large is 2.5 turns of the machine so basically oh well. After emails and pictures back and forth with corporate, I had hoped they would talk with the owner and quality control standards would be realigned. Hey, we all have a bad day, no worries. The gave us two cards for free regular sundaes. We decided today, to try it out again, guess what...the product was even worse. Less custard. So I said, excuse me, we were given these rebound coupons to give you a second chance and this is still not even filling the bottom half of the bowl. The rude young man that wait on me said so what. So what?!? He then pulled over the second employee who said I don't know what your problem is. I walked away throwing this ridiculous excuse for a sundae from Rita's in the trash. A couple walking by said, I don't like how they talked to you. This place is no good and left. Never again will we go here. I will drove the extra 20 minutes to Enola or Elizabethtown where you get what they say you will. Do yourself a favor, avoid this location. The staff is inconsiderate and their standards are awful! If I could have taken stars away, I would have.
