The Crimson House was recommended by Anita over at Yuengling Brewery. Specifically she mentioned…read moretheir chef AJ. The fish and chips were some of, if not, the best I have had. The fried fish fillets were absolutely perfect and crispy. The drinks were great. I got the Kentucky mules and though not of their normal offering they were done well. Excellent place. Live music and a game room upstairs. Why not 5 stars... well, it was close. Meeting AJ was awesome.

We've been to the pub side several times. That experience is always five star. This time we decided…read moreto lunch on the restaurant side. We had heard they had a new chef and the food was good. Only one other person ordering food, and he was sitting at the bar. Two employees. Waitress came over. Dining companion wanted a Bloody Mary. Waitress, we don't have those here! Ice teas then. We start looking at the menu and the weekend specials. Bloody Mary is on the specials menu! When she comes back to bring our beverages and take our food order, we tell her, "you might want to cross the drink special off!" She's asks why, we tell her. She just shrugged. Didn't say let me check, I could be wrong. Nothing. We order. I want the Clams Casino. We are out. Are you sure? Yes. I order the fish and chips. One Reuben. Food comes. Fish looked liked frozen, deep fried tenders. Fries were hot. Coleslaw tasteless. So disappointing. Reuben was just an average deli sandwich, nothing special, nothing wrong. Mid. Waitress never came back to give us tea refills and we never got the lemon we asked for. Best part of this experience was the hot, crispy fries. The waitress, even though pleasant she wasn't on top of her game. We literally were her only table and it's not like she was running back and forth to the other side. The bar/pub side wasn't open yet. We will return to drink, all of the bartenders are good. It has a friendly, welcoming vibe in the evening. The restaurant and food. I'll pass.

This little divey spot has unexpectedly delicious food that will keep you coming back. I started…read moreoff with an order of the Crabby Bites. Basically mini crab cake balls, deep fried and served with a side of the house cajun ranch. It was a great size for sharing, but I could have easily put down 2 orders of these. They were moist inside, perfectly fried, and the ranch had a nice flavor without being too hot. For my main I ordered their Maine Lobster Roll. Fresh cold lobster mixed with mayo and celery salt and comes with a lemon wedge on the side. I've had some really good rolls while visiting New England and this roll stood up to the others. Generous lobster portions, and the perfect ratio of mayo without making the sandwich soggy. It was delicious and hit my craving. At the Port, the outdoor seating is where it's at. A fully enclosed patio, fans, and a full service bar. Inside, they have a fully stocked beer wall with loads of beers on tap to try. The down sides here are that it is in a residential neighborhood with on street parking. Get ready to drive around looking for a spot and be prepared to walk. The Port is currently rated a 9.1 on my Beli and is worth a stop whether you're looking for some good beer or delicious pub food.
