We're SO glad that we did!!! The Aloha Media team was super easy to work with throughout the entire process and it was so nice to work with 1 company for all of those elements of our wedding. Justyn and Ryan were our photographers on the day (Justyn is the founder and CEO) and they were AMAZING!! So nice and fun! My husband and I are pretty shy in general so taking professional photos was a bit nerve wracking for us but Justyn and Ryan made us feel so comfortable the entire time and tailored the poses to ones that felt more like us. Justyn even made me feel comfortable right from the first phone call when we inquired about their availability and to see if they could be the right fit. They took photos for 8 hours and we already got our photos in less than a week! We LOVE all of the photographs they took of us and our loved ones! Our loved ones have also gushed over how well all the photos turned out. There's a great mix of posed photograph of both us and our guests, lovely candid ones of us and our guests, and ones that just capture the ambiance. It was also neat to see they worked with musician Kolohe Kai on some videos! Navigating the website, I was able to easily setup an initial video/phone meeting with Justyn to which we discussed budget and what packages would be most fitting. His cheerful demeanor and professionalism reassured me that this would be the company to go forth to document such an important day. Needless to say, I'm glad we did! AlohaMedia offers so much and has a few collections and à la carte options to fit your budget needs. We hired AlohaMedia to do our photography, videography, photobooth, DJ, and emcee. It made wedding planning all the way from South Carolina much more enjoyable to know they encompass so much and do so with aloha spirit and pride. We got our photobooth pictures 3 days after our wedding and the highlight samples about 2 weeks later. We can't wait to see the rest of our photos and the video! The crew of AlohaMedia was polite, punctual, good natured, friendly -- just to name a few qualities with our experience. The camera crew showed up early at our hotel for our getting-ready pictures, ensured our photo and video needs were met at our St. Augustine By The Sea church ceremony, the photos before the reception allowed my husband and I to get some beautiful photos around Cafe Julia. For the music and dance portion for the reception, DJ Kutz and emcee Josh exceeded our expectations. Our families LOVE dancing so to me, music meant a great deal of importance. The Vibo website made DJ and music cue planning seamless, it breaks down into sections like walking out songs, bouquet toss, first dance, etc. to which we were able to add comments and clarify any questions plus add links to our personal curated Spotify playlists for them to mix. I'm grateful DJ Kutz and emcee Josh were able to read the dance floor and play songs according to the energy of the crowd especially cranking our Polish disco polo music!! Additionally the photobooth was highly favored with guests. The attendants made sure things were running smoothly, enough copies were printed, and the props made for a few laughs. We used the photos from the booth to be added to our guestbook to which guests could add wisdom and well wishes. I liked Hawaii Head Shot's website that had plenty of examples of photos that were well done. I also liked their pricing. I booked about a week ago and Erica and Ronen texted me a confirmation along with what to expect as well as where to park. They are located in a condo on Kinau Street so it was convenient that they had a parking stall I could park in. I called them when I arrived and Erica came down and walked me up. There is a small bathroom to change in and check your hair etc. Since I opted for 2 poses, I brought a change of clothing (just a top). Erica sat me down and helped coach me through various shots. I was so nervous but she guided me through and I gradually relaxed (a little.) Thanks to Ronen, I opted for a little lighter background for the second pose. I wasn't sure about it but once I saw the photos, I am glad he suggested a lighter shade as it creates a different mood. I was amazed at how many photos Erica took. Afterwards, we looked at them and I chose some that I liked. After a few touch-ups, my final copies will be emailed to me. I can't want to see them. They also do shots on location. Will definitely come back when I need more professional photos. This is an update a week after I posted the above-got my retouched prints and they are amazing! I would give them 10 stars if I could!
