Michele Made Our Wedding Perfect!…read more Michele from Memorable Hawaii Weddings truly made my dreams come true when she officiated the wedding between my husband and me. She was flexible, responsive, and incredibly thoughtful throughout the whole process. Even though we chose a simple "sign and go" option, she still went above and beyond to make our moment special -- she even decorated the table for us, which we absolutely loved! She really listened to what we wanted and made sure our ceremony felt personal and meaningful. On top of her amazing service, she was also the most affordable officiant we found -- yet the quality she provided was unmatched. They may not be the biggest wedding planning company in Hawaii, but they were worth every penny. Communication was a big plus. We called them all the time during the planning phase from California, and were able to reach a live person almost all the time, and received prompt callbacks when we didn't. Jackie was our contact person up front and did a great job helping us right through the day of the wedding. Their wedding packages were very straightforward with no hidden charges, and they were very helpful in explaining all the options and helping us pick the right package for our needs. They also provided links to the necessary government sites to apply for our wedding permit online, so that once we reached Hawaii we were in and out of the government office in 15 minutes. They also helped us choose a wedding location and the subsequent hotel to make everything as simple as possible. They recommended the closest hotels to where we wanted to get married and we ended up staying at a great spot (Marriott Ko Olina Beach Club). As for the wedding itself, Jonathan (who sometimes presides over ceremonies but in this case was the photographer) made my bride and I feel like were we movie stars, and strained and contorted himself into all kinds of angels and positions to get the perfect shots (often taking some waves in the process). The ceremony itself was simple yet very well done (thanks Mark). They've had a wedding business in Las Vegas for around ten years and it shows in their experience and execution. Most importantly, my bride-to-be was a bit of a wreck heading to the beach ceremony (which bride isn't), but once we met up with Jonathan, his calm demeanor and reassuring manner put us totally at ease and everything ran smoothly from start to finish. I'm sure there are some larger companies that might offer a lot more bells and whistles and elite-level packages, but for a couple looking for a simple yet very special beach wedding in Hawaii, we couldn't be happier with Hawaii Nei Weddings and would recommend them to all like-minded couples.

They also communicated all the changes with our vendors and even renegotiated details to make the new plan and venue work within such a tight timeline. There are two areas in particular where she and her team did an amazing job: (1) Design/decoration services: My husband and I didn't know a lot about wedding decorations, and Shari did an incredible job translating our overall design preferences into all of the details that contributed to an absolutely beautiful wedding day. She had a great eye for tying together the design and color choices for our flowers, linens, ceremony and reception decorations into one cohesive, romantic look that completely exceeded our expectations on the day of our wedding. We received so many compliments from our guests, too. There was no way our wedding aesthetic would have come out the way it did without Shari's advice and design suggestions. It was so magical!! (2) Day-of support and planning: Our wedding day went off without a hitch from start to finish, thanks to Shari and her team's support and attention to detail on the day of. It felt like whenever we had a question, a personal need (such as a drink of water or trip to the bathroom!) or the next item on the timeline was coming up, someone was there to address it and because of this level of support, my husband and I were able to fully enjoy and immerse ourselves in our special day. Beyond these two things, Shari provided so much support leading up to our wedding and is also super friendly and easy to work with. If you are considering her for your wedding, you should definitely go for it. Thank you Shari and team for making our wedding such a beautiful day to remember for the rest of our lives!

Sally and team are rock stars and fantastic at what they do. My wife and I knew we needed someone…read moreto help us with our planning and coordination as our wedding would be a destination wedding for many of our guests. Arluis Weddings was provided to us as a recommendation. First and foremost, if you're on the fence on wedding planning and/or coordination, I hope this review convinces you that it is 100% worth it, and if that's the case, Sally and team are 1000% worth it. Like many couples, my wife and I were one of the Covid couples that had postponed their 2020 wedding. We decided to shift our wedding to the islands to keep it closer to some family and also help keep our wedding size smaller. We initially found our venue at the end of 2020, but made no planning until April of 2021 when we felt safer on having a wedding. At that point, we had nothing else planned and knew we needed help. We started off with an initial phone call with Sally, and we knew right away that we wanted to partner and work with Sally. This was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Despite only having a few months to plan everything, Sally and team helped make our day a reality and success. I will share a few anecdotes to help convince you that you should work with this team. 1. Despite only planning the wedding with about 3.5 months of lead time, at no point did my wife and I feel any stress related to the planning. Our only stressors were associated with the pandemic which was out of the control of both us and any vendor. Despite that, Sally made sure to have our back on all our planning. My wife and I were fully able to focus on our work and a recent home purchase that we made. At no point did wedding planning cause us any stress and Sally and team were really helpful to make sure of that. 2. Vendor selections - We had a few inspiration pictures and boards that we shared with Sally, and she helped us make the perfect selection for exactly what we wanted. These were things such as our furniture rentals, place setting, dance floor, and many more things you don't think about initially like a welcome sign! Moreover, Sally helped work to make sure we were efficient with our dollars even helping us book more price efficient items like the dance floor from vendors she works and is familiar with. 3. Since this was a destination wedding, Sally made sure to go to our wedding venue and work with our contact at the venue to preview layout. Moreover, it was the first time our DJ worked at this site (and they were awesome too by the way), so Sally went with them to preview the space. We had a detailed floor plan and an idea on how the day would be executed. We met the day prior to go over the details so that everyone would be comfortable on the day of the wedding. 4. Finally - we had no issues at our wedding and it was a wonderful celebration. For example, we took a little bit longer on taking some photos that we wanted (our choice), and Sally and team were there to help make sure we got everything back on track - helping us grab our room key from our friend while we took pictures, meeting us at the room, and then helping bring back items to our room at the end of the night. All of these things were unprompted by us, but ultimately made a difference in making sure the night went well. These are the small things you won't initially notice or think of, but really help make a difference. We had many guests tell us that it was one of their favorite weddings they've been to. Sometimes you'll think this is flattery, but the fact that many have shared it with us has made us extremely happy. This is in part thanks to Sally and team. Thank you so much for making our day wonderful. Make sure to inquire and work with Sally and team!

They capture the true beauty of a moment without being overly stylized or edited. Melissa just has an incredible eye for composition and lighting. I was completely blown away by the engagement photos and immediately booked VIVIDfotos again for my July 2025 wedding. I've received a set of preview photos from the wedding and cannot stop obsessing over them. They're stunning and I couldn't be happier. With VIVIDfotos you're also getting personalized service. A few weeks before the wedding we decided we didn't need 8 hours for our wedding shoot, and asked Melissa if she would allow us to amend the contract. She did so without hesitation and allowed us to credit some of the hours to a future shoot at no cost, even though it will be more work for her to set up her equipment all over again. As we learned with all of our vendors, Melissa is extremely busy and may be occupied with other things, so you may need to remind her of any particular needs the day of your shoot. We had asked for a change of outfit at our engagement shoot, and weren't sure about the protocol for this. We didn't bring it up until the end of our contracted time. She granted us extra time for photos in our 2nd outfits at no extra cost. If you're looking for a very professional photographer who is guaranteed to deliver outstanding quality photos, look no further.

L'Amour can be credited for capturing my wedding day (October 2025) and creating life-lasting memories of one of the best days of my life. I felt so comfortable with the team and it made the wedding day that much less stressful, not having to worry about constant posing or feeling unnatural. There was an oversight on a relatively last minute addition I had requested and thought was approved by my wedding planning team + L'Amour. Though it was physically impossible to make up for it (the moment had already passed), I appreciate Eric's sincerity in trying to remedy the situation however possible. Reflecting back, the mistake could have been caught by multiple people involved, including myself, but life is too short to be upset about something that cannot be helped at this point in time.
