I first discovered Garvan's Photography at one of the bridal expos for the magnet photobooth, and thought it was a great idea but didn't really look into it much. As the time grew closer to my wedding, I thought I would look them up again and emailed them to get a quote. The communication was ON POINT. The company is run by the SWEETEST couple ever, Gary and Vanessa. I met with them at a local Starbucks to get the ball rolling and they discussed everything that they needed from me (color schemes, etc.) and about a month before my wedding I received 3 drafts of layout for the photobooth pictures. They arrived at my venue on time, and were SO awesome with the guests and the product was worth every penny. Ever since my wedding, my cousins and sisters have booked them for their events as well. They even remember me and my husband when we see them at these events. I once ran into them at a restaurant and it was like running into old friends. I only wish the absolute best for them!

They're so easy to work with and really care bout the quality of their work. We've worked with a few professional photographers in the past for our engagement and wedding but Garvans has been the best. Our friends have even commented that our maternity shots are much nicer than our wedding photos and I agree! I'm so glad we found them and will definitely be recommending and calling them for all of our future needs.

James is especially bubbly and was so kind in helping me fluff my wedding dress and bringing my partner and me water during our photoshoot. I initially chose VIVIDfotos for my engagement shoot because I was looking for exactly their particular style of photos. They capture the true beauty of a moment without being overly stylized or edited. Melissa just has an incredible eye for composition and lighting. I was completely blown away by the engagement photos and immediately booked VIVIDfotos again for my July 2025 wedding. I've received a set of preview photos from the wedding and cannot stop obsessing over them. They're stunning and I couldn't be happier. With VIVIDfotos you're also getting personalized service. A few weeks before the wedding we decided we didn't need 8 hours for our wedding shoot, and asked Melissa if she would allow us to amend the contract. She did so without hesitation and allowed us to credit some of the hours to a future shoot at no cost, even though it will be more work for her to set up her equipment all over again. As we learned with all of our vendors, Melissa is extremely busy and may be occupied with other things, so you may need to remind her of any particular needs the day of your shoot. We had asked for a change of outfit at our engagement shoot, and weren't sure about the protocol for this. We didn't bring it up until the end of our contracted time. She granted us extra time for photos in our 2nd outfits at no extra cost. She was incredibly professional, very responsive, and extremely friendly. She also gave great advice regarding optimal backdrops for the photos. The initial unedited pictures were upfront beautiful and the final product was breathtaking. She caught amazing candid pictures throughout the event and did an awesome job directing the group photos (ie imagine posing a large group composed of both elderly grandparents and 4 year-old grandchildren). She was so polite in helping people position themselves for the picture, while also making them feel very comfortable throughout the process. After our wedding, I realized that I had not taken a single photo and was 100% grateful to have Michelle capture our wedding - she did an outstanding job. I cannot fathom how our wedding gallery at the end had such a wide variety of photos, yet she somehow moved seamlessly throughout the event. Overall, I highly recommend Michelle and would definitely work with her again for my own future photoshoot events!

We were so bummed! It was supposed to be our first family shoot in Hawaii, and we had planned this for months. I immediately went on Yelp and sent a mass message to photographers on the island. It was Christmas Eve, and I highly doubted anyone would book us last minute for Christmas Day, let alone respond. It was worth a shot. Iris was one of the photographers who reached out to us. She was very empathetic and understood our situation. She didn't try to upsell us or complicate things with numbers. We booked her on the spot. On the day of the shoot, Iris went above and beyond. We had two families in our group that included several children and a 6-month old infant. Iris worked patiently with us to get various poses and captured all the beautiful smiles. It was not hectic at all and a lot of fun. We received our photos within a week, and we are so pleased with the final product. Iris captured our family beautifully. Her editing style is very romantic and timeless. I was initially skeptical because Iris didn't have a huge online presence, but she has proven to be very professional and talented. We highly recommend Iris and would not hesitate to hire her again on our next visit. She completely overdelivered and exceeded our expectations. Thank you, Iris!
