She is immensely talented, highly professional and creative…read more Traveling from San Diego to Hawaii, I was reluctant to book a session as I was afraid we would miss the session due to weather, traffic, etc... then throw some jet lagged kids in the mix and our chances of a great session was slim. Well, Taylor made sure we were on the dryer side of the island but still had the back drop I was looking for; picked a time that still had great light but worked with the kid's nap schedule; and was very flexible in the date as we were going to be on the island for 7 days with 3 of the days forecasted to be raining. The photos were absolutely stunning. She made us all feel at ease and captured how my family is naturally. She was even able to get some great shots of my three-nager who was throwing a fit because her baby brother was getting a lot of attention for his cake smash. She made the whole process stress free and she was very easy to get a hold of if I needed to ask her something. We got the sneak peak and full gallery shorter than her promised time. They…read morereally improved over the last few months because they can discuss with us specifically what kind of image we want and make sure we get the right angle, lighting etc. They also waited until we were ready and looking at the camera, telling us "big smile" and making us less nervous. In our first and third sessions, we had to change the location due to weather etc, but they coped with it and even gave us a better alternative by driving around and checking out the nearby area while my husband and I waited in our car anxiously for the wind and rain to pass. After the wait, they suggested a new location and we drove there. We took photos in a location that was similar to the original location we had requested, but it was less touristy. It was secluded and full of beauty. As a local, I was delighted that they took us there!

Lovely working with Kay!…read more She photographed our mini wedding in Oahu, HI. She guided us through different poses and made us feel so comfortable during the day. Despite the short event, we were able to squeeze in so many great shots. She used two cameras for our group pictures which I really appreciated. One for more close-ups and one more zoomed out. I loved that she also got a drone shot of our wedding group, and it's one of my favorites! I'm so happy she was able to capture that with our beautiful venue as well. She also came up with some ideas that we didn't even think of (rose petal exit) and those were some of my favorites as well. We had preview edited shots the very next day which was so nice to see. Floyd is just simply awesome…read more On the day of the wedding, Floyd showed up early and confirmed what we had discussed regarding style and timeline. My husband and I are seriously the most awkward when it comes to photo shoots, and I feared our photos would look forced. Leave it to Floyd to figure out a way for us to look like "us." He was very comfortable to work with, easy going, and made everything feel relaxed. When it came time for family photos, I feared it would be chaos since both families were so large, but Floyd kept everyone on track and got them done efficiently (and beautifully) so we could move on the partying! A few of my guests commented on how sincere and sweet our photographer was; never pushing for photos but always there for the right moment. Our portfolio of photos was extensive and captured every moment (and then some), which is exactly what I wanted. We had our engagement photo shoot with Kenji in November at the Sun Flower Fields in North Shore. It was themed by the pixar movie "UP" so we had a VW bus and some silly costumes. They were early (better than on time), they had previously shot at the fields - so they knew the good spots, they were patient, and they made us feel comfortable. Tie The Knot Images were a very professional, down to earth, and talented pair (Kenji and Kathy). Kenji is extremely humble, punctual, organized, creative, photographer! Plus, he as a drone! It was a pleasure to work with him! Kathy has a wonderful sense of direction and she is able to feel out the couples vibe very fast. In addition, they send you the best of the photos and edit them accordingly. We even got a short video that we loved and added our own song choice. My husband surprised me with a family photoshoot while we were on vacation in Hawaii. I was…read morethrilled! My only expectation was for was one family photo with the beach and some palm trees as the background. We met Kenji and his lovely wife, Kathy just before sunset. Right away they treated us like family and not clients. They embraced us with true aloha spirit. They didn't have much to prep just followed my husband, myself and our three kids and started shooting. It was by far the most FUN and easy shoot. My kids even enjoyed doing the photoshoot. We took some awesome unique shots in the sand, in the sunset and even in the water. My youngest child was so comfortable working with Kenji and Kathy that she unleashed her wild side which gave Kenji additional material to work with. And the photos captured it all. EVERY single frame they took was purely amazing! Our smiles were genuine and through his camera lense he featured the true joy, love and connection that my family shares. The experience with Kenji and Kathy was so wonderful and the photos (every single frame) is true art that will proudly be displayed in our home for many years.
