She was so good with our almost 2-year-old daughter, and got her to feel immediately comfortable, which allowed her to laugh and smile throughout the shoot. Not only was she easy to work with, professional, and punctual, she is one of those rare people you'll meet in life who genuinely has your (and your wedding's) best interest in mind. Ella's package included an engagement shoot and she made the fantastic suggestions to go to a dog beach in San Diego (we live about 2 hours away). We received a big batch of amazing engagement photos and the best part was that she made the experience fun for us. My husband and I are usually very awkward, but with Ella, it felt natural to pose and just have a good time. Ella and her partner worked tirelessly at our wedding and we are so happy with our 800+ photos that we received. She was detail oriented, organized, but somehow made picture taking painless and chill. Her photos were bright, cheerful, and she captured the mood of our wedding perfectly. I'd hire Ella again in a heartbeat for any and all future photoshoots. She is absolutely amazing and you won't go wrong with Ella for your wedding.

That was the first time we had a professional photographer take our photos and eventhough both my husband and I were awkward with posing, she was so nice with guiding us and made us feel comfortable. She really makes an effort in knowing our story and discussing how we wanted our photos to look. Our next project with her was our newborn/family photoshoot during the pandemic. She graciously accepted the challenge of taking the photos at our small apartment and her skills shines through as she can take beautiful photos with that set up. Our latest project with her was our little one's 1st birthday cake smash/family photoshoot. We love that she can give recommendations on the beautiful places around the island and if you have a specific vision in mind, you will enjoy working with her as she is very open to any ideas. Moreover, she made sure everything was set and prepared before the photoshoot. She was so calm and patient with our uncooperative baby and we were amazed that she was able to take beautiful shots despite that. We are thankful that she granted our request that we need a couple of the photos the next day for the party. Overall, she is a great photographer and we cannot recommend her enough!

When searching for our wedding photographer, we narrowed it down to three or so people and asked for opinions from our parents, siblings and some friends, some of which are photographers and / or artists themselves. I already knew Chris was my pick but we were curious what others thought. I believe he was picked by everyone so hands down, we knew who we wanted. Just check out his portfolio and his work speaks for itself. He is super easy to get along with, he knows what he's doing, had a great second shooter, Hannah, and has an amazing presence, even though sometimes you don't even notice he is there capturing great memories. We were planning a Hawaii wedding from the mainland, which can be difficult at times. Initial emails were answered quickly, we had no issues trying to get in touch with him whenever we wanted to. And the first time speaking with him, it sort of felt like we were chatting with someone we already knew. There is just a level of comfort and confidence that he has which can put any stressed out couple at ease. Our wedding was in October 2019 and the day started out raining off and on. Of course everyone was a bit worried but we knew we couldn't do anything about it and accepted what was to come. Chris arrived on time, to tell you the truth I didn't know what time it was at all that day, even though I was wearing a watch . We introduced ourselves to each other and he got right to work. Completely professional in every way, Chris delivered on all levels. He even gave us sneak peek photos the very next day! Now I'm an not a photographer but I am a graphic designer and producing work the very next day is super difficult. And less than a month after our wedding, he had all our photos ready! He has a great, creative eye and his demeanor is relaxed and comfortable so you can be yourself. What we really liked about Chris was that he gave really awesome directions! I don't mean directions to the location but I mean directions on how to pose, where to look and such. This is really hard to find sometimes in photographers but it makes all the difference in the world. It can make a good image, great or a great image not so great. Chris was able to guide us every step as we are no professional models so we needed a loooot of directions and he did so in a way that was comfortable and easy for us. When we received the gallery, we were thrilled with how they turned out! Clean, modern, and beautiful. He also took a great number of photos which is always nice because you can really pick and choose your favorites. Some photographers will only give you such a limited amount of images. Oh and another thing we really appreciated was his quick turnaround time. It was nice to have the images so quickly. I would not hesitate to book with Chris again. He is definitely a talented gem! Thank you Chris for the amazing pictures and capturing such a special occasion!

He was the only photographer for our wedding and was able to take multiple shots of every moment during our day. He is attentive and quick to capture those split second moments. As awkward and silly as my husband and I can be in the momentary spotlight, he was able to help us feel comfortable being ourselves in front of the camera and made our shoot unique to our personalities. Our favorite pictures from him are the ones that candidly capture the interaction between us and show the joy of our love during each session. He encouraged us to be ourselves with a few helpful suggestions on how to position ourselves, which made posing super easy. He works earnestly to understand each person/couple and comes prepared for each shot. He went so far as to research and visit the perfect location in a forest next to a river for our engagement shoot- and when we were surprised by snow there on the day of the shoot, he was flexible and incorporated the elements in the moment for beautiful results. He is ready to go the distance for the perfect session. He is honest and fair in his pricing- and is totally worth every penny. The pictures were easily downloaded from a user friendly platform that I was also able to share with my family and friends. Whether the pictures are zoomed in on a screen, or printed large, it is apparent that the details and colors have been carefully and tastefully edited for maximum quality. Besides joining our families by marriage, the pictures are my most precious lasting souvenir from our wedding day.
