Always need to stop in when I am in the area. Always find something good to toss in the cart.

We were out for my husband's birthday on 10/26/23. She said that she did and went to get a tin from behind the counter. The whole time she kept saying that she didn't really know that much about coins but proceeded to pull out some of the larger coins for us to view. My husband chose two of the $1.00 coins she showed him and some small change. After looking them up on her phone, she told us $40.00 for the 1900 dollar and then said $150.00 for everything he had chosen to purchase. The second coin was dated 1797 Trade dollar. When we got home the next day, I looked them up for him to check the values. My first clue was when I could only find "Trade dollars" minted in the 1800's. I then dug deeper and found out that it was a fake. After reading information on them, it was suggested to put a magnet to it to see if it stuck. Well, it did! I immediately checked the 1900 coin also. Guess what? Fake also. Lesson learned for $150.00 is always carry a magnet with us and have the equipment you need to verify what you have in your hand. I'm just glad we didn't get taken for any more than we did. Buyer beware is the right phrase for this shop!

Even with a sign on the door stating closed returning at a specific time, if you return after that time, they are not always open. The door will be locked and if you knock, no one answers. The first time I did this, I had to call and spoke to somebody. The second time however, I did not bother. The store does have a decent selection of mostly jewelry items for sale. If you were looking for antiques, this is not a traditional antique store.

Thrifting already takes a long time searching for those hidden gems, but add unorganized clothing racks on top of that and it'll take forever. I quickly skimmed some racks and left because I just didn't feel like it was worth dedicating the time to. Luckily, I did find a brand new Fabletics bomber jacket with tags on it for $10. I also got a student discount so ended up paying $9 for it. I visited on Saturday, which is apparently student discount day. I've visited other goodwills on Saturdays and haven't heard of this discount, so I'm not sure if it's a universal thing. At this location there was also some fittings rooms and a mirror outside of the dressing rooms, in case you didn't want to go in. I'm not sure if there were mirrors inside the rooms as well. The most pleasant thing about my visit was the young woman working, it seemed she was the only one there because she was working the register and putting things away on the floor. I didn't catch her name but she had shoulder length brown hair. She was very kind and friendly, she let me know about the discounts that day, what color tag was on sale, and we talked a bit about thrifting. She was very personable and this really stuck out to me. Overall, I probably won't be visiting this location again but if you do, I hope you run into the nice girl who works there!

CONS: Not that much bric a brac compared to other stores but the quality of the items they had for sale made up for it OVERALL: I highly suggest coming here if you're in the area, especially if its for clothing since they have a lot of that
