When my friend said, "do you want to go to the Beer Wall?" I was not prepared for how big the wall would be. Service is at a walk up bar that is super quick. We did not order food but they do offer a small variety of bar snacks. The seating area could be larger to accommodate crowds but alas. It was nice to have a beer and look out over the river. Great stop to check off on your world traveler bucket list.
Great Belgian beer tasting experience! We stopped by 2be Bar in August 2023 on a day trip to Brugge. The place was recommended by our tour guide and we are very thankful for that. The bar has a great concept of different tasting sets letting you sample quite a good number of beers in a single visit. This is important considering hundreds of different beers Belgium has to offer. We took 2 sets of 4 small glasses and really liked 3-4 out of them. We recommend the place if you like beer and are interested in tasting some authentic varieties.

When you first come in, there's a huge beer wall, a gift shop, an indoor seating area by the bar and outdoor seating where you can get a view of the canal. They have a great selection of beer (including beer flights). Some of the beers come in uniquely shaped glasses. Mine looked like it belonged in a science lab and I saw a coconut beer that came in a coconut shaped bowl. I also really enjoyed their hot wine. Definitely a guaranteed great time!
They have a fantastic selection of different beers, was amazing to see and try different Belgian brews! The view from the patio is superb, right on the canal, and was very entertaining for our 1 year old watching boat, birds and people walking by. Service was quick and they had separate menus in a variety of languages and were quick to offer beer recommendations! We went back twice on our trip!
I visited several bars while in this lovely town. (Probably too many...) 2be Beer Wall was my FAVORITE! The energy in this place is so fun, without being too much. The staff is fast and friendly. Their drink selection is stellar. The prices are fair. What's not to like?! I ordered a rum hot chocolate because I needed something other than beer and it ended up being my favorite drink! It comes in a super cute box with various chocolate pieces and you build your own custom hot chocolate! It was so fun and creative! Also, it tasted great! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! *Even if the line looks long, it goes by very very quickly! It's almost shocking how fast the line moves. Kudos to the bar staff! They do it all with a great attitude!
Do you need a place in Bruge with magnificent selection of beers? This is your place. You can get a sampler of 4 for €12. They provide a card to coincide with your numbered beers. Also, no need to worry if you are from out of country, they have translated beer menus hanging from the ceiling- pull your language of choice (test your Duolingo or Babble skills) and order. Love this place.
For any beer fanatics, this is most likely a must visit. 2be Beer Wall not only has a massive beer wall but they also sell chocolates, egg nog, merchandise and more. We perused the beers downstairs and there's a large variety of fruit beers, blondes, darks, etc. Beer prices range but it's not the cheapest place in town. Our friend went ham and bought several beer glasses along with beers. We only bought one. - 2014 Geuze mariage parfait (€4,50) - this was a lambic sour. It tasted like chen pi (sun dried tangerine peels). Good mouth feel and easy to drink (even though it's 8%).
This is one of the best beer bars in the world. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our time there. There is a great beer garden inside and the outdoor seating on the canal is second to none. The beer selection is insanely deep and the staff is really friendly and helpful. If you are near Bruges, this place is a must!

We were excited to try this popular bar in Belgium. The ambience is dated and they definitely need to clean their tables. The bathroom was unclean too. They have limited food options. Just some nuts and packs of chips. We got the popular paprika chips and tried their two most popular beers. They really have interesting beer glasses, we saw others carrying foghorn shaped glasses, hourglass shaped glasses, etc. They have both outside and inside seating. We sat outside right by the canal. The view was great from there. Loved our beers too! There are no servers, you have to order at the counter and wait for your beers by the adjacent station. read more

Such a fun place to enjoy a beer! I took a day trip to Bruges back in May 2024. I had bookmarked a few places to check out and 2be was one of them. On a walking tour of the city, we passed by 2be so I made a point to visit once the tour ended. The beer wall in the entry way is pretty awesome! I have no idea how many beers are on display, but each one has it's own drinking glass. I visited on a Saturday afternoon so it was very busy with patrons. The lines can get long, but they actually move pretty fast. The bartenders are nice and efficient. You can scan a QR code for the menu or you can pull down a menu from the ceiling while you're in line. They have menus in multiple languages including English, Spanish, and French. I had the Brugs Tarwebier. I don't remember what size I ordered but it was a decent amount of beer. I liked the glass that it was served in. They have really cool drinkware, but don't even think about taking it because they have antitheft sensors on them. All of the beers were less than €7. I really wanted to try a Delirium Tremens, but I was short on time and wasn't gonna pound a beer that is 8.5% ABV. Maybe next time lol. read more

Service was great!! They do not offer food, they do offer snacks such as: chips, sausage, Belgian cheese, etc; the snacks were delicious. They have an ample amount of beer selection! We got a little sampler of beer! We were able to find a great table over looking the water. Very cute! read more

This is our second time here. The wall of beers is huge. It's fun to see all the different beers and their different glasses. Service here is very friendly and there is a seating area outside on the canal. Grab a beer and chill out. There are beer menus hanging from the ceiling in several languages to help you decide. My go to is the Kwak and it comes in a test tube shaped glass in a wooden holder. So cool! There is also food available. There's a really cool pay bathroom that has fish swimming in the glass sink. read more
A highlight of our trip to Bruges! With so much beautiful art and churches to see during the day, especially the world-famous Bruges Madonna, we discovered that Bruges becomes quite a sleepy town after the sun goes down. Plus, in the winter time, it gets really cold! Therefore, we were thrilled to find the 2be Beer Wall through so many positive online reviews. It definitely lived up to the hype and wows you with its wall of hundreds of beers! The actual amount of offerings at the counter is much shorter, but all very unique and tasty! We went with flights of dark and lighter, fruitier beers so that we could get a full taste of the menu. So many great beers! Definitely worth a visit if you're in Bruges and want to actually have something to do at night! There's a gorgeous view too! read more

I wanted to say "tourist hot bed" but Bruges is a tourist in town form. I'd be surprised if a truly "local" establishment existed here...at least within the immediate borders. But yes, if you're walking by the beer wall, then by all means stop to take a few photos. The bar looked busy and anxiety inducing, so I moved along rather quickly, but it seemed like a spot late teens to early 20s would enjoy quite a bit. read more

The 2be beer wall is definitely the place 2be in Brugge! They have a great patio that is right on the canal, which makes for a perfect stop for a drink or two after a day of exploring the city. So how it works: It is a cash only bar that allows you to choose either a flight or single beer. I decided to try the "light" flight with the small snack option for 10 euros. They also had a "local" and a "strong" flight option as well which could be paired with a sampling of the snack mix, cheese and dried sausage. Once you order that the bar you are welcome to grab a seat inside or out and then enjoy the view! I would highly recommend taking a pit stop here to not only drink but admire the giant beer wall! read more

If you ever visit Belgium, you need to visit this place located in the city of Brussels. Is a must if you're a beer lover( like my hubby.. lol). It is literally located in an alley. The bar is mall but very popular and with a great atmosphere. The views from the outside seating are spectacular, and great for pictures. The prices are reasonable. We choose to order a tray that brings 4 different beers, peanuts, cheese and salami. Each tray was 13.50 euros. But you can order smaller or bigger trays. It has a downstairs with a little display of beers. The most curious part was the bathrooms, the sink were fish tanks... to cute! We were a group of 5, we had a good time and didn't want to leave! But unfortunately we needed to keep our tour going. read more

Beer wall has its iconic display walls of various beers and beer glasses and mugs, it was very nice sitting along the canals and enjoying some beer tasting. Menu's included other languages like English, Spanish, German and French. The bar tenders offered good service and regularly cleared tables outside after patrons left read more
What a great spot overlooking the canals. They have every Belgium beer you can ask for. We got a great table on the patio under a big tree. It was an amazing afternoon. I can't remember what beers we all had but even though the place was pretty busy. The two guys behind the bar were slinging them as fast as people could order them. Make sure to check out the bathroom and the basement! read more
We stumbled upon 2be Beer Wall on happenstance. After finishing our canal boat tour, we were walking around randomly when we were drawn to the fancy entryway. As you enter, you see the entire wall decked out by all the great Belgian beers. If this doesn't whet your thirst, the beautiful outdoor seating overlooking the canals will definitely win you over. Our party of 3 shared the "light" and "mix" option, which comes with 4 samples of different beer and light nibbles each for 10 euros. I loved that the samples come with complementary brochures that have the notes and descriptions of the beers that you are sampling. I brought this home with me so that I can pick up some new beers at Trader Joe's when I go back to the states. read more

2be is the place TO BE! I cannot say enough good things about this place. The beer wall is what originally caught my eye, and we knew we wanted to stop in before we left Brugge. Boy am I glad we did! My boyfriend and I ordered a flight and a Kwak. The flight was fantastic and came with an incredible snack of cheese, salami, and Cracker Jack type nuts. I am still dreaming of the cheese and salami! I loved the inside as well as the outdoor area that sits on the canal. It was poppin and people were having a great time. All the wait staff was super friendly, and we certainly enjoyed ourselves! read more

When they say beer wall, they mean it! The entryway to this bar is a giant wall displaying all 1,130 unique beers made in Belgium. As if that weren't enough, they also have what is probably the nicest beer garden in all of Bruges, with a wraparound patio that looks out on the canals. To put the cherry on top of this very nice sundae, they also happen to have Kwak on draught, which is one of the finest Belgium beers you'll ever have the pleasure to taste. read more
Must have taken some time for the builder or his team to get all those beer bottles. Either that or with imagination one would say the wall is built from one long night when they all got drunk and all the bottles came from one night of boozing it up. The beer selection is good, hence the display. The barkeep is upbeat. The crowd by the bar is young and it is pretty lively in there socially and one can easily start a conversation. I like they had heaters at the tables outside to keep those that decide to stay at the outdoor tables warm. I'm not sure if it's part of the Beer Wall Bar but there is also a cool shop at the entrance/exit that sells unique and cool crafted items. read more
This great tourist bar on the corner of probably the most photographed site in Bruges. It is famous for its wall of beer which is probably a 15mt glass cased wall of 400 different types of beer each with its individually branded glass. As you enter the main part of the bar there are some small tables with stools & then hanging from the ceiling on recoiled elastic are the menus for the 13 types of draught beer with an explanation of the flavour of each. You can get small (2.5€) medium (2.5€-5€) & large (4.5€-6.5€) or a sampler tray. The sampler tray is 10€ & gives you 4 small beers & 3 small cups of snacks, nuts, cheese etc. The sampler tray comes in a selection of light, strong or mixed beers so you can select your desired strength. There is an outdoor section on the balcony which overlooks the canal which has heated lamps. There is also a shop on the same premises serving an array of alcohol. My only downside was that as the bar is famous for its beer wall, it only seemed to be selling the main 13 draught beers & a small selection of beers in the fridges. I thought it would've had more of a choice given its reputation. On the whole a great atmosphere bar & a must for any tourist in Bruges! read more
