The name of the shop caught my attention, and I presumed it would be a poxy range of tourist items - and it certainly has plenty of these. However, if I was a tourist unprepared for an Australian summer, I would be quite happy to find a place like this. They sell thongs, hats, sunscreen, boardshorts and plenty of daggy t-shirts to keep the sun off. They also sell sunscreening moisturiser, tea tree soap and eucalyptus oil. Their range of hats is one of the best around the area. There are, of course, boomerangs and prints of aboriginal art for sale. They sell kids clothing saying cute things (as they always do) and plenty of fridge magnets and stuffed koalas. However, there is plenty in here that you might not expect, and it really is a very useful store.

I would have thought there would have to be a constant plethora of Asian and Pommie tourists around for sales to keep the store proffitable, but apparently we Adelaidians like to remember our last trip down the road! Anywho, for those of you out there who are deeply in Love with our most popular beach destination, this is most definately to shop to grab something that will share your love with the world! Shirts, aprons, shorts and for the man who enjoys the odd beer....wait for it.....stubby holders! Go Nuts!

She has run a great store for many years and, in more recent times has relocated round the corner to where it is now. Looking at the shop now, I don't know how she ever fitted in to the smaller store before. The shop screams 70's psychedelic in logo and layout and there is a colourful array of racks of clothing both inside the store and out. You can find vintage clothing, designer clothing and just about everything in between. The change rooms are bright and airy and Nadia or her other assistants are always ready to help out. You can always find something unique here at a good price. As well as clothes, they have a large selection of shoes, bags, belts and jewellery. The only thing about the new store is that it is a little harder to find, being tucked away around the back of Cheap as Chips.

But I thought of a way a guy might want to enter a store like this. Christmas. I've already bought a Christmas present for milady, but I've a got a little extra money coming in so I thought I might try for something extra. Normally, I stay away from clothes. I never remember sizes, and girls tend to like to try a thing on before they buy it. And I can't say I blame them for this. But I brought in a picture of milady, and showed it to the staff, and they gave me some handy tips as to what might suit her. I ended up buying a thirty dollar dress. I can't tell you whether the advice was accurate or not, as Christmas isn't 'til tomorrow, but here's the best part: I've already nailed the present. This is just a bonus, so if I've made a terrible choice, I'm still in the clear. Regardless, I'd like to thank the staff for their help with the unorthodox request.

I take good care of them. The handbag cost $35 10 years ago which wasn't the cheapest for what it was. A cheaply made accessory. After a couple of times of me using it, literally, the seams became undone and the lining became loose, no longer attached to the outer vinyl fabric. Threads were hanging and it looked awful. I brought the handbag less than a week later to the store with receipt of purchase bur the proprietor or manager, she was one of the two, refused to give me a refund. This kind of thing should not have happened to a product so soon after purchase. It has never happened to me before or since! The proprietor said that she couldn't be sure I didn't overload the bag with personal belongings! I only kept my purse, phone, keys, couple of tissues and sometimes a lipstick in it. The woman said she could sew and repair the bag herself if I left it with her for some days. I found her attitude unacceptable given how new the item was. Although I was a regular customer I stopped going to all their shops after this experience. Their "knitwear" and scarves smelled like petroleum too. Not recommended. Of course I don't know if new owners are there now. The lady who refused me a refund wore glasses.

There are a lot of garments in this shop that I couldn't imagine anyone looking good in but then there is the occasional item that looks incredible and is still cheap. One of my favourite summer dresses is from here and everyone comments on it (in a good way). This is a shop where it is worth fighting through the squashy racks. Near the counter there is always a display of inexpensive shoes, purses and other accessories. It is also, strange but true, good for cheap sports socks, go figure! So if you are looking for something interesting and don't have much to spend this could be the place to go!

Don't tell anyone! The prices are cheaper than retail, the shoes are pretty well standard fare and…read morethe service is personal and easy going without being slack. They make a lot of these shoes in the factory here, but not all of them, some you'd call imports! It has really good off street parking and it's barely five minutes out of the city centre, so it is a very good spot to do some shoe shopping women! Okay, tell your best friend and your poorest friend but only them; it would be horrible to think they are suffering from scrunched up feet or wet feet from holey shoes. But if you go telling everyone they may sell out! Actually there's a lot of stock, and it is a good variety - the only thing that says this is a shoe warehouse direct to public style of store is the blandness of the interior, but really, who needs plush carpets and snazzy lighting to wiggle their toes? Actually if you tell more than your poorest and best friend, you may bring in some more customers and then between you if you all go together you could end up buying three purchases. If you buy three things and each are worth $50.00 or more you are entitled to a "Loyalty Discount Qualification" (!) which is a 10% discount off of all purchases for twelve months... Not bad eh! Maybe you should tell everyone. Who doesn't love a discount voucher - in a shoe shop even?!

She really likes shoes…read moreso this one time that I actually went there I left with I think around 6 pairs of (her) shoes in my car. If you weren't looking for it, you would probably not notice it was there. There is literally no indication that there is a shoe shop on that street unless you happen to catch a glimpse of the big red sign (and read what it says) as you drive past. If you do happen to notice the sign, when you turn in all you will see is a parking area with a door towards the end on the right hand sign. Very unassuming, but for the female shoe shopper looking for a bargain, definitely a treat. As a factory outlet store, the shoes they sell there are cheaper than what you'd normally find in Myer or David Jones. Also, they don't sell cheap shoes either and are they actually stock good quality shoes with actual brand names like diane ferari (I can't believe I know this stuff). From boots, to casual shoes to heels, it's a plain looking shop on the inside, but what it makes up for in lack of flash is in its wide selection of shoes for the shoe hungry female shopper.
