Not an overly large looking premises from the street but it certainly endeavours to stock the latest trends and brands. It stocks a good range of sports apparel where all the local public schools can purchase uniforms for soccer, baseball, football or cricket and the same goes for sporting clubs. There's a large wall display of footwear to choose from and a good range of sizing not only in footwear but also clothing. Champs also stocks bags, sports equipment such as cricket bats and balls, soccer balls, footballs....you get the picture. Prices are quite good considering there is no competition within cooee.

The store is staffed by friendly individuals who don't hesitate to help you out and are particularly knowledgeable when it comes to what pair of sports shoes would suit your exercise regime and is happy to order in extra sizes and styles if you are so inclined. Champs is reasonably well priced, with a few good sales floating through the store. Champs also acts as a supplier for local sporting clubs and schools and I can advise the locals to get your orders in quickly to get your clothing in on time. Champs also is a VenueTix outlet so those who like physical tickets for their big events can buy in store.

For us on the other hand, we enjoy a bargain and sorting through for the find of the day, whether it's clothing, furniture or bric-a-brac. Much like a vintage store but without the vinage price tag! The staff are friendly and most are employed on a volunteer basis and doing a good deed for the community. If you would like to contribute some of your unwanted clothes or other stuff, there is a donation bin directly out the front. If it's full please don't leave it out the front instead wait for them to open and kindly give it to them. Leaving stuff out the front looks untidy, can get soiled in the weather and not to mention from passing four legged members of the community or be taken by someone else. Thank you

Last winter, I snapped a black leather jacket at the clearance rack for a mere 50cents. You heard me right. 50 cents. Ladies will go crazy over the women's section. Bountiful of fashionable tops, skirts, dresses, prom gowns, corporate gear and gorgeous pant suits for the working woman in you. Hip and funky accessories line shelves and wall brackets, all pleading to be worn and taken home. I've picked up some fabulous items here from my last visit. A wine rack which I turned into a shoe rack ($10), a cat painting ($5), kitchenware ($12) and tops (under $10). A must to visit if you haven't already. Add this to your next op shopping store list as there are plenty of op shops along the road and in the close vicinity.

This Red Cross thrift store is a little different to other thrift stores. It seems that they must…read moreget a lot of donations from clothing stores. They offer a lot of brand new, never worn items. Some with tags still attached with original prices. However, the benefit is that you can purchase them at thrift store prices! Hooray! This is a great sized store, with a variety of items on offer. The clothing section is large and offers some really cool 80s-90s styled clothing when I looked there last. The back section has a great collection of ceramic home display pieces which is great if you are into eclectic styling. If you are after some jewellery, there is large collection of necklaces and bracelets in the front part of the store. Some of these items are new as well. They are all quite good quality and not just cheap looking pieces. I think my biggest tip is that this store is the one to go to if you are after shoes. I know not everyone is into wearing second hand shoes. But, they have a great selection of really cool funky vintage styled shoes. I have also found a number of "I love billy" shoes here as well. Just in case you do want to buy some vintage shoes and want to give them a good clean, here is what I do: Step 1: Place bicarb soda in the shoes and leave them overnight. Step 2: Vacuum the bicarb out. Step 3: Get a damp cloth and dettol and wipe them out inside. Voila, good as new! Last thing to mention, the staff in this store are really lovely and very helpful. It is probably a wonderful feeling volunteering in support for such an amazing cause. So do what I do, support the cause by shopping in thrift stores and love the environment by recycling!

The Repat op shop is truly a neighbourhood op shop. Situated within the hospital grounds, it is a…read morefairly small-medium sized op shop. Not big on women's clothing, you will find them but don't expect the latest fashion trends though. There are plenty of children's clothing here, I spotted some branded names from Pumpkin Patch, Esprit and the usual suspects from Target and Big W. You will find men's clothing too, as in all op shops, with the usual basic staples. They have a good range of preloved books and shoes. They have a good collection of bric a brac. Tupperware fans will spot some here. The occasional candle holders in every shape and height usually grace the shelves and normal dining products at great prices. Prices are low and if you're lucky you'll find some vintage stuff here, I spotted a Glomesh bag. Win.

There's a fair amount of evening and formal wear for the refined woman, so if you're in this category and stuck to find something new, running out of time, etc, this will be a good shop to visit. The clothes are very neatly presented and organised in order of size which makes it much easier to zoom in and have a look. On occasions there are ornamental decorations for sale and under the glass front counter are the jewels and the staff are friendly enough to answer any queries. Parking can be found round the back or there is on street parking directly out the front if you're lucky but watch out for traffic during peak periods.
