On my first visit, I came in to buy candy and ending up browsing. And during that initial visit, I appreciated how many items this store has to offer and how well it's laid out. The patrons and workers take care of this store. I don't know how long it's been open, but it doesn't have the "tired" feel of most discount stores. And it's neat. Things aren't all piled up on each other in any random area; each section is separate and where you would expect to find something it's usually there. I didn't initially think of Deals as a "dollar store" but there are a lot of things that are $1. If I had kids, I come here every other month or so, give them $10 and let them go crazy. And if I were just starting out and not sure of what I needed, I would come here to buy dinnerware, glasses, etc. The prices are comparable to (and in some cases lower than) Wal-Mart and Target, so why deal with the parking and long check out lines of a bigger store? I don't know if I would have ever gone into this store if I wasn't dealing with a "candy jones" but I'm glad I did. Old vintage photos,buttons,clothes,christmas ornaments, furniture, records, patches,art and much more. every space i looked at had different collectors pieces all set up so classy. I felt like i was on adventure sent back in time revisiting precious things that someone once picked for their home. so if you are looking for something back a different era where stuff was built to last this might be a great option. or if you are looking to pass sometime and just browse i would definitely check this spot out

I've never seen the lines get unbearably long like they can do at other stores. This store is on the smaller side, but it is nicely organized and I always find a few neat things. It has a large selection of books (my fave), and even though the clothing section isn't huge, the prices are a little less than some other places and I've seen some really nice brands (Anthro, J Brand Jeans, Athleta), mixed in. The clothing is organized by size--hallelujah! (Don't get me started on the places that organize by color.) I've seen some quality furniture and housewares as well as a bunch of randomness that would probably appeal to somebody out there. 4 stars instead of 5 because sometimes I have trouble understanding their sales. They usually have a cart of free baked goods for customers. One time they were giving away frozen hams with your purchase!

We also were told we could hold our places in line, only to be told 2 minutes after, we all had to leave because he can't stand there to watch us and also reboot the system. We asked if we could keep our things there so we could return to purchase once the system was back up. We ere told yes. We got back BEFORE the 30 minutes he told us it'd take to find that all of our items were placed back and that we'd now have to remember what all we had , grab it all again and then purchase . I don't think I'd go back to that specific location solely based off of customer service alone. The parking was convenient right out front. It's…read morenot huge, so not overwhelming, and it's located near to some other furniture thrift stores so it relieves the pressure to find the perfect thing or to settle on something you're not happy with. I've gotten some chairs here, as well as some linens (which, yes, are new, but they're a good price and good quality!) Like every thrift/vintage shop, not every visit is going to be a hit, but the stock rotates frequently enough that it's always fun to stop by! They're also very honest-- I was thinking about some outdoor furniture which they pointed out to me wasn't in the best condition. I was able to pass on that and stick with the things that I still did, and continue to, love.
