Dr. Troy is amazing! Over the past couple weeks I have been experiencing a lot of neck discomfort. Dr. Troy said probably due to my work (being on the phone often and sitting at my desk the majority of the day). I have had an adjustment done and feel somewhat normal again and not so stiff. He did tell me it would take a couple of adjustments to get everything back to normal, but I am optimistic and looking forward to working more with him and feeling better. The office is easy to locate and access and Dr. Troy was very flexible with me in regards to scheduling an appointment. This business is absolutely amazing! Located in downtown Phoenix it is extremely convenient to quickly stop in and get an adjustment at the $25 chiropractic. I myself work downtown and when I am feeling excessive amounts of pain or specific areas that are tender I will usually just stop in on my break and leave almost a different person... Dr. Troy is an extremely friendly and knowledgable guy when it comes to exactly what sort of treatment Will help the most. I previously have gone to different chiropractors who have been highly suggested and I have attempted to use insurance to make it affordable.. There were always complications when it came to using my insurance and fortunately the $25 chiropractic does not require nor need insurance. I searched for a chiropractor online and read many reviews and stumbled upon $25 Chiropractic. I decided to give it a try given the great reviews and that it was a local business and not a franchise kind of business like "The joint" which you can get adjustments for about $19. For some time I had been experiencing excruciating episodes of pain in my lower back for about 6 months due to being out of serious alignment for about 10 years. After such a long time it caught up with me and when the pain would happen, it lasted for three to four days of not being able to sit, walk or stand, or even go to shower or to the bathroom on my own. It was humiliating and embarrassing. Not only did I have to miss work but It was an eye opener that I needed help. After my last episode, I recovered after four days and took another three to be at least 90% functional. I still felt the pain in my lower back after two weeks but it was only a dull pain. I was happy to be functional as I was after every episode. Feeling the dull pain and inability to move the way I needed to I sought out treatment. After my first visit with Dr. Troy I felt the same, all day. The next day, to my surprise, I was able to move without feeling limitation. I was amazed. The dull pain was gone and I could move with much more confidence before, feeling that I didn't have to be so careful. I now feel so much better and am continuing my treatment with Dr. Troy. My regular chiropractor is a lady. When she went on vacation in June 2014, I visited Dr Troy. I saw him twice, and he was great! I will be going back to my regular chiropractor... but... I'm DEFINITELY sending my husband to Dr. Troy. [ It's the male bonding thing... :-) LOL. ] I'm sure my husband will get along with Dr. Troy, he has such a pleasant bedside manner. So you're not surprised. One, depending on the time of day, and time of year... parking can be difficult. That applies to every chiropractor downtown - including my regular lady chiropractor. I live nearby... so I either walk or bike to his office. It's easy for me to get there. If you drive a car... it can be a little bit of a hassle. Again, that applies to every business downtown. [ On a side note... If you work live or downtown, you might want to check out these resources: You can rent a bicycle at GridBikes.com (great program!) Or, you can take the DASH. That's "Downtown Area Shuttle." Go to http://routes.valleymetro.org/ and search for "Phoenix Business circulator" government loop. ] So you're not surprised. Two, his office is decorated... how do I say... like a bachelor's office. He does not spend a lot of money on making it pretty. He keeps his overhead low, which keeps his prices low. I've been receiving chiropractic care for over 15 years in various states and Phoenix Chiropractor, Dr. Troy Counselman, is one of the best. I like the way he adjusts my bone structure. The fact that he's over six feet and is muscular helps, at least in my opinion, to give a more comprehenisve adjustment. Plus, with his online scheduling and pay option it's too easy not to go and get an adjustment. While his downtown Phoenix location could be a deterrent becuase of parking, don't let it stop you from going. His website gives you an idea where you can park and it was easy and quick finding a parking space.
