If you are first time, you need to scan a QR code and fill out a bunch of stuff to join. It was $10 for me to join a 3-6 pm slot (as of Jan 2026). Since the slot was in this sort of increment, you get your best value by coming right at 3:00. I pulled my calf muscle in one of the games and they had ice for me. That was nice. Thank you! There is an area for kids, sort of, but not much to do. It's just an open space that's the size of half a court. It has a few crane machines and chairs to lounge on. I recommend them adding a small play set or bounce house for kids. The parents can then set them loose and have fun. Will definitely be coming back!

However when I walked in at 10am, there were only 2 other folks from my group hitting. The whole facility is brand new and took the spot of "Treasurez 4 Less" previously. It has a golf simulator and a fully stocked bar too. I also saw a private room for parties, a backdrop to take pictures at and a few claw machines. Great for kids and crowds and those who aren't there for pickleball. The courts themselves are pretty standard but there aren't any court dividers, easily having your neighbors balls interrupt your game. Still the courts are very nice. I used the Court Reserve app to register for a spot on open courts. I paid and got my receipt via email but to my surprise, when I checked-in in the morning, the dude said I didn't pay yet. I showed him my receipt via email and let me through. Perhaps this is a problem that hasn't been ironed out yet, and non of my friends had the same problem. I'm glad the guy was gracious and polite about it, but it came as a hiccup that shouldn't have been. If you're super serious about pickleball and care about DUPR and ratings, this place isn't for you. However if you're in it for a good time with friends, with easy access to alcohol and other fun things. This is a nice place to spend a few hours. Pricing is $8 at the time we went, lets hope they're able to keep it up.

For us, we were there for open play, which we reserved in advance for $3 per person. They have paddles to rent and balls for purchase. They also have a selection of drinks available to buy if you didn't bring a water bottle. There aren't any workers onsite, but there are cameras everywhere. They monitor everyone that comes in. Out of the 9 total courts, 6 were available for open play. There are baskets organized by DUPR levels where you can reserve your place in line with your paddle. The games can move fast depending on who you're playing with. But with any open play setup without workers, there were definitely some people who abused the system and played "forever" games when they played for an hour straight on the same court. This takes away playing time by other people also there who actually follow the rules. In total, there were about 50 people there for free play when we went. We were able to get our questions answered when we called them, and they also reached out to us when they saw us on the cameras that we were confused in the beginning on how everything worked there. Overall, a great concept and the execution of it wasn't bad. But unfortunately, there was no enforcement of the rules when it came to hogging the open courts which skewed our experience more negative.

Out of all the different pickleball places in Houston, this is the pickleball spot that I call "home." I always give new pickleball spots a chance and check them out for fun, but HPC is my favorite as far as how nice the facility is and how good the competition is here. I've only been playing pickleball consistently for about 5 months now, but HPC is a big reason I've improved so quickly. Whether you're a beginner or an advanced player, HPC can accommodate all skill levels. I generally come here for open play on Tues, Wed, and Thurs from around 630pm - 11pm when they close, you're guaranteed some great games for sure. I also appreciate that if you want a private court, peak time price is around $35/hr. You'll get a discount if you're a member or go at a non peak time as well. Thanks HPC for maintaining such a great pickleball community, I'll be back regularly for sure!

The ventilation is the best that I've found for any indoor pickleball court. The service desk is friendly and very helpful. They even serve drinks and snacks such as instant ramen, granola bars, chips, candies, etc. You'll find extra balls for sale as well. The prices are great too, starting at $1/drinks, $2/ball.

The fences are low so if your ball goes out, you have to run into the parking lot to chase. Often times the ball will go in the street, etc. if they would have paid for 10ft fences that surrounded the courts, with netting, this would not be an issue. The next thing is the lights, if you play when it's dark the lighting is poor which makes it hard to see the ball in some areas of the courts. The final challenge is the wind, it's always windy at this facility. I guess with it being outdoor surrounded by building, no proper tennis or pickleball fencing, your balls go all over. So unless you're a power player and this doesn't matter, it makes game play not as fun. The facility inside is just kinda of an open concrete space with outdoor furniture, it's not really maintained or a spot to chill. You can never just book a court or easily get some play going because they only have 6 courts. For me, it's just not my spot and would not recommend

So I guess it's sort of a word of mouth thing, IYKYK type thing. Or you would mistake it for a wherehouse, commercial space, or empty building. But inside has about 4 full pickle courts. This is located right in a neighborhood, and the house next door is the owner of the building. But it is open to the public, you just have to rent the courts. I think around $25 an hour, but don't quote me on that. You can also buy snacks/drinks, rent paddles and balls, there is a TV and Foosball table as well while you wait for the courts you can enjoy. There is no parking lot, but you can park on the street. And the road dead ends so you can park in the cauld-de-sac. It's nice because the court has AC. Enjoy!

Emerald Bowl is a clean, family friendly bowling alley that offers a good time! There are PLENTY of lanes, plenty of bowling ball options, and decently priced hand foods for purchase. Needless to say my family and I thoroughly enjoyed Emerald Bowl. This is definitely now our family's go to bowling spot.
