The next day we noticed it and called in to 24 hour to notify of breakage. They said they would call the caregiver to see if she would admit to it which they did. Actually the caregiver thought they better not lie and admitted to it. 24 Hour then replaced the broken item. The next caregiver denied theft of an egg timer. Most thief's won't admit guilt will they. The only thing is we have had it for years and used it every couple days for years and all of a sudden after a new caregiver it was missing. We thought 24 hour would not deny any responsibility and just replace it for the measly $18.00 egg timer after spending in the thousands per month. Guess we were wrong after The Fullerton manager finally denied it after waiting for three weeks to get it replaced. There response is we would have to prove it. I guess we need to set up security camera's through out the house. Another worker came and stood in the kitchen for an hour and refused to work unless we provided gloves. She finally left and did nothing. 24 hour could not find a replacement then and unfortunately a 94 year old was left helpless that day. We requested to talk to the owner or G.M about this. We were told you can't talk to them they are in and out and left us stuck with no one else to address this . Many more examples could be made but I think you can get an idea of what type of business you are dealing with here! 24Hr HomeCare has been providing quality care for my husband 24/7 since May 10, 2016. My husband has Parkinson's and suffered a debilitating stroke. Due to the amount of physical care required and agitation/combative issues, the medical staff and case managers at two different hospitals STRONGLY advised that my husband be placed in a skilled nursing facility. With the help of 24Hr HomeCare, my husband has been able to be cared for at home. The care givers assigned by 24Hr HomeCare are experienced, knowledgeable, and skilled in nursing care. They are compassionate and genuinely interested in my husband's progress. The care givers are motivated to participate in his rehabilitation including a rigorous exercise program. Consequently, my husband has progressed from total care to assisted care. The care givers are his cheer leaders and have had an integral role in his recovery. They are quick to help with household chores such as laundry, meals , dishes, cleaning floors, etc. without being asked. The care givers have become part of our family. Our account manager, Melyssa Rash, has been outstanding in listening to us, assessing our needs, and selecting the appropriate care givers for my husband. She has been able to find a replacement as needed (vacation, illness, etc.) on a timely basis. We can also ask for a new care giver if a caregiver is not a good fit - very rare. Some of our care givers have worked for other agencies. When asked how 24Hr HomeCare compares, they say it is one of the better agencies and LIKE working for this agency. I can't say enough about 24 Hour HomeCare! When my mom was close to being discharged from hospital, recovering from a surgery, I reached out for help and was put in contact with Tom from 24 Hour HomeCare who met us before discharge at hospital to get us all set. Tom was so professional and informative in helping us plan her care at home. 24Hour HomeCare schedulers called us immediately to confirm a caregiver would be out the following morning for a 12 hour shift and also the name of the 2nd caregiver for evening shift. My mom was thrilled with the help and mostly the kindness the caregivers gave her. We used them for round the clock care for 2 weeks and then 12 hour shifts after for 4 weeks. They took her to appointments, helped with her PT exercises and were our eyes and ears for our family. We were nervous at first to get a caregiver, however it was beyond my expectations how smooth and super professional this company and caregivers are. Best thing to come out of our experience was my mom found a companion that comes out 3 days a week and shops with her and keeps her so happy! My partner was in and out of the hospital for an entire month for three complex orthopedic surgeries and had issues affecting her level of consciousness and memory. She was discharged and returned home but still required lots of care. I had several obligations coming up and needed to set up care for her to start in less than two days. Melissa came to our home the very day of discharge and set up all of the home care shifts I thought I would need. I have been working with 24hr care for almost a year. I have never worked for a company that is so appreciative of their employees. My husband has medical issues which requires me to take him to. This company allows you to work the hours you are available not a set schedule so they are very flexible and usually have shifts when you need to work. I have worked with some awesome clients and loved talking to them to hear their life stories. When I first started with the company I was only with them for two months before I had to take a week off to go to my daughter's house to help her out.
