Hands down THE MOST IMPRESSIVE TIKI BAR IVE EVER BEEN TO!!!!…read more Ive been a lot of places and been to a lot of bars. I find tiki bars to be the funnest theme of bars. Morgan's Cove is the king of all tiki bars. Its so cool, the entrance to the bar is speakeasy style hidden door. Once you walk in its mind blowing how much detail is put into this place. The theme is sea monsters. The walls have carvings of sea monsters. Theres a leviathan hanging above the bar. Theres a really cool handmade pirate ship in a glass case by the bar. Its all so badass and so well done...just a beautiful bar. Chefs kiss. The drinks are amazing too. I went for a rum event. I had 2 different drinks and tasted all of my friend's drinks. All very delicious and hard hitting. Everyone there was super nice. The crowd the staff, theyre all so nice. I would fly out here just to visit this bar again. I highly highly recommend Morgan's Cove!!!

Locating this establishment was pretty easy. Parking was easier !! I located a space directly in front of the place. They also have parking lots every 1-2 blocks. Anyhoo, we had a 45 minute wait; cool. We sat in the car and people watched until it was our time to shine. Finally it was. Whew the entrance was nice. 1 way in and 1 way out of here !! We were taken to a table near the back. This place was very nicely decorated. We were assisted by Breanna who was pretty awesome and helped us pick our beverages of the evening. GREAT CHOICES!! We ordered... Nui Nui Pandan Killer Gochujang Glazed Wings Everything was well crafted The beverages were a great size, well priced, and well concocted. The wings were fresh and a great portion size for hubby and I to share. We had a fantastic time visiting this speakeasy and it's highly recommended !!

I opt it for one of the full priced menu items which was the shrimp hummus, and it was very light, flavorful, and the perfect bite. My ONLY criticism is sometimes the music can be a little too loud for conversation, but this isn't always so. I'm a cocktail geek and have made multiple trips to The Aviary in Chicago. Believe me, The Aviary has nothing on the Tanto bar program. Cocktails are unique, creative, and delicious. Food was amazing, whether omakase or á la carte. Staff is attentive, fun and playful. Chuck and Nick anchor the beverage service while Tony and Ari will make you feel at home. If you are lucky you may get a visit from Chef Cody. Standout drinks: #1 is Seoul Food. Think the savoriness of a Bloody Mary but without tomatoes. Hard to describe but don't miss it! Other highlights include Opposite Day, Memory in Bloom, and Three Way. Season of Again pairs beautifully with the oysters. I hate to say I have a favorite restaurant, because I choose different places for differing needs, but Tanto has won my heart and tastebuds.

The hostess was pleasant when arriving and presented herself with exceptional sleek style. Someone brought me a palate cleanser drink which was rhubarb and lemongrass water. I choose the cocktail called Opposite Day- Japanese whiskey, sweet Sauvignon Blanc, salted wine and roasted beets- twist on a whiskey sour but flipped! Oysters were light and fresh and the juice in the shell was precision clean. It really pops the flavors of the oyster. Yellowtail jalapeño handroll- it is designed to be eaten similar to a taco. The yellowtail was superbly fresh, the jalapeno was a mild touch to accompany the dish and didn't try to be the star. and the homemade soy sauce didn't over power the fish. Duck leg finished with a Szechuan spice and finished a pear au jus. The duck fell off the bone and was bursting with a complex blend of elegant flavors. The convenience alone made it a great option, but I was also pleased with the food and service. I tried both the salmon and steak, and both were well prepared and enjoyable. The service was consistently good, and the prices were reasonable, especially for a hotel restaurant. I also had breakfast there and found it to be a solid, convenient option to start the day. The restaurant itself isn't very large, but the atmosphere works well for a quiet meal or business lunch where you can actually have a conversation. Overall, Dan offers good food, dependable service, fair pricing, and excellent convenience for hotel guests. It's not an elaborate dining experience, but it does what it does well. It definitely started to fill in more by the time we left at 7:15 and there was barely any standing room, so definitely recommend a reservation! We really loved the overall vibe. Great DJ playing, cocktails were good and they had a decent happy hour. The music did continue to get louder as more people filled it, so it was difficult to have a conversation without sitting next to each other. Definitely wasn't what we were expecting considering it feels more like a vibey lounge. We didn't mind it, just were surprised. One thing that was upsetting was when we received our check. We saw on the menu when we first ordered that an automatic 20% gratuity is added to all checks - totally fine by us and we were okay with this. However, when we received our check, the gratuity line was clearly marked through as if it wasn't a part of the total bill and this felt sleezy to us. It already was added and included in the total, so it felt like an intentional way to get people to over tip. We really didn't appreciate that and it left a bad impression on us.
