The following review is for their standard manicure ($18, before tax and tip). *Atmosphere* The space is incredibly large for a nail salon, although you wouldn't know it when walking by as the windows are covered with a large decal. The salon is clean and bright, and there is a long row of tables for manicures, a row of chairs for pedicures, and several shelves filled with a wide selection of nail polishes. Everything is comfortably spaced out, and does not feel cramped at all. *Service* Service is stellar. The staff are incredibly polite and friendly, and really go the extra mile to make your experience pleasant. When I was selecting my nail polish at the beginning of my visit, they helped me find a family of colours that I could consider and compare. At the end of my manicure they also helped me zip up my jacket, backpack and wallet to ensure that the zippers did not ruin the fresh manicure. *Quality* When it comes to the manicure itself, the staff are all very detail-oriented and careful. Here, they apply two thin coats of colour for a beautifully precise nail polish, as opposed to globbing on a single layer like other places do. This way, the nail polish also dries a little faster. They also include a hot towel, a hand/wrist massage and hand lotion. In addition, I find that there is something unique about the hand drying machines that they use that really helps take the smell away from the nail polish varnish, which is much appreciated! One small area of improvement would be the entertainment or TV: the day I visited the TV was playing the news whereas in the past I recall they played movies. It would have been nice to watch something a little more entertaining and less dry than the news, but overall this ultimately does not affect the end result of my manicure. The whirlpool tubs have been replaced with plastic tubs and they change a liner with each use. Not environmentally friendly, but clean. The cost is about half what I would pay in a high end spa, and my expectations are adjusted accordingly. There is no set receptionist and the aestheticians take turns answering the phone, so sometimes you will be mid pedi and they will have to take the phone. Lots of mother and daughter pairs and the occasional man in here. Kids pedis are circa $20 and they usually do a fun design on the big toes for them. They also do inexpensive waxing with strip wax in the back rooms.

I was hoping to find a nude, translucent shimmer but couldn't quite get the look I had in mind, so I just went with the closest option. One of my thumb nails didn't cure completely flat, but it's not super noticeable, and I'm not too picky given the price is on the lower end. Staff wear masks and they have plexi glass to separate you from the nail tech. I got gel removal and shellac manicure. Total was $50+ tax. They take cash, debit and credit. The nail tech was very thorough and did a great job removing my gel and making it smooth again. She cut and reshaped my nails and removed the dead skin.
