Staff wear masks and they have plexi glass to separate you from the nail tech. I got gel removal and shellac manicure. Total was $50+ tax. They take cash, debit and credit. The nail tech was very thorough and did a great job removing my gel and making it smooth again. She cut and reshaped my nails and removed the dead skin. Her work was pretty good as the shellac was smooth and didn't get any on my cuticles or skin. She made sure to check my nails were evenly shaped compared to my other hand. Honestly, there will be reviews that people aren't happy with the wait because there honestly aren't that much staff here, but I've been to places like Kathy Nails that will get you in on time, but get you out fast and back there real fast because it wasn't done right. My friend recommended me this salon and she said it was great and the price is same as the other salon that I usually goes to, but it wasn't. I made an appointment for 11am for a friend, myself and my daughter. We were seen at our appointment time. I can see this place getting busy as it was quite busy when we went. I had Kerry for manicure and pedicure. No problems. She used good strength for the foot massage and hand massage. Friendliness: awesome and amazing. They were quite accommodating to my daughter. Cleaniness: 4/5 only because I noticed the floors where I was doing my manicure wasn't swept up. Also, they would always wash things and use their UV sterilizer, which is good. I was hoping to find a nude, translucent shimmer but couldn't quite get the look I had in mind, so I just went with the closest option. One of my thumb nails didn't cure completely flat, but it's not super noticeable, and I'm not too picky given the price is on the lower end. The employees who was working on my nails was a perfectionist like me. She got the polish right to my cuticle and did a fantastic job. My normal Polish manicure lasted an entire week before it started to chip. It survived water skiing, swimming, cycling, and more. The following review is for their standard manicure ($18, before tax and tip). *Atmosphere* The space is incredibly large for a nail salon, although you wouldn't know it when walking by as the windows are covered with a large decal. The salon is clean and bright, and there is a long row of tables for manicures, a row of chairs for pedicures, and several shelves filled with a wide selection of nail polishes. Everything is comfortably spaced out, and does not feel cramped at all. *Service* Service is stellar. When I was selecting my nail polish at the beginning of my visit, they helped me find a family of colours that I could consider and compare. At the end of my manicure they also helped me zip up my jacket, backpack and wallet to ensure that the zippers did not ruin the fresh manicure. *Quality* When it comes to the manicure itself, the staff are all very detail-oriented and careful. Here, they apply two thin coats of colour for a beautifully precise nail polish, as opposed to globbing on a single layer like other places do. This way, the nail polish also dries a little faster.
