Anza Parking SFO

Once after boarding the shuttle to the airport, I realized I left one bag in our car. They sent it with the next shuttle so I didn't have to go back to the lot. Much appreciated. Thanks Anza!

This was the first time I've ever used long term parking at the airport…read more I had done some internet shopping with various parking companies. Anza was by far the most highly praised and had the most reasonable rates for a long park. Compared to Lyft/uber rides, for a two week stay, the cost was close to identical. Before arriving I made a reservation online via the website ( for some reason the app wasn't working on my phone). Use the coupon tab to get a promo code. Apparently all the codes offer the same discount. You can choose to prepay or pay at the lot. I choose to pay at the lot. Since the app wasn't working for me, I printed the reservation information. Arriving in the middle of the night at completely new long term parking seems like a daunting task. But I was completely wrong. There were no staff except for the shuttle driver. But Anza parking is meticulously organized. There were clear signs which guided you through the whole parking process step by step. The signs were perfectly positioned. In the wee hours there is no valet parking. You self park. But once you find your spot you wait for the shuttle. The shuttle driver followed me. This was a great relief. Being alone in an enormous deserted parking lot would have been unnerving. The driver assisted me with my luggage. He gave me a ticket with my parking spot recorded. Payment is expected after you return from your trip. It's a short drive from the parking to the airport about 5-8 minutes. The driver knew exactly the right terminal down to the best door to use for my airline. Once again he assisted me with my luggage. The driver was courteous throughout. Don't forget to tip the driver the way I did. A big bad on my part, which I regret deeply. On the return trip, you need to find the spot labeled "off airport parking" which is located on level two, on the central island(exit the terminal, take the crosswalk across the street) and look for the signs posted. The Anza shuttle will be clearly labeled in the front of the vehicle. The shuttle runs often. I waited for nine minutes. The shuttle runs 24 /7. The driver will collect your ticket and drive you to your parked car if you have self parked. This time I remember to tip the driver. Drive your car back to the entrance/exit. Then drive to the exit lane which is clearly marked. There will be a kiosk with a friendly staffer. You will need your quote and your ticket. I had already entered my credit card information via the website and payment was trivially easy. I recommend Anza Parking wholeheartedly.

Highland Parking Garage - 8/29/24

It's been a while since I've ventured on a regular basis to this part of Burlingame, mainly Howard…read moreAvenue. On two visits during the past six weeks, I've noticed that parking is at a premium on the streets here, especially with the construction happening in the surrounding streets with construction vehicles either parked or occupying normal metered public parking spaces for their materials. As I tried to have an early lunch with an aunt, I had to turn on my emergency flashers, pull her walker out of the back seat, and help her to the curb. My next mission was to find a parking space before meeting her in the restaurant. After turning on the Highland Avenue, I noticed the sign and a neon lit board showing the # of available spaces (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&select=DrFEvc0vqviyIBMaVNmyxA) (strange that the number isn't legible with that green lighting). Turning in and turning right, I spotted a blue handicap space just past a charging station space and pulled in (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&select=Rl06SPidRqglrl40JOGN-A). In looking at the general parking spaces, I was impressed at how wide the spaces were, giving ample room for error in parking and to get in and out of your vehicle (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&select=xNBNois7TJzJOkmMYoSv0Q). The best part is that the garage is actually only two buildings over from the back entrance of the restaurant. This made it feasible for my aunt to walk to my car and enter the restaurant's "backdoor". Do note this garage as an option if you are dining at one of the many restaurants in the surrounding streets.

We waited for about 25m going and about 20m coming, so well within the stated and promised "every 30m" timeframe. A BIG bonus is their luxury shuttle, that is super clean, with comfortable seating. I'm also very impressed with their professional and helpful drivers, who were courteous and helpful with handling luggage. Be sure to PRINT out the confirmation sheet, so that you can scan the bar code easily for coming in and out of the parking lot. I found that is you read through and follow all instructions, you will have a smooth and easy transaction. Overall a great airport parking experience. I highly recommend this parking spot!

But the shuttle was not really accurate with the pickup times, which is important when you're trying to catch a flight or return to your vehicle from SFO after your travels. Shuttle pickup is supposed to be every half hour. But the bus arrived about 5 minutes late at the Burlingame Airport Parking pickup booth on a Wednesday morning. Then it took a few more minutes for the driver to load everyone's luggage in the back, and 5-6 minutes to arrive at the airport, with about an additional minute per stop for different groups of airlines... first stop American, Delta, Jet Blue terminal, next stop United, and so on. Upon my return on Saturday evening, it took almost 30 minutes to get back to the Burlingame Airport Parking lot. Pickup is every half hour at SFO, 2nd level "Hotel Shuttles" area. Once you get on the bus, there are several stops at the airport as well as the Hilton Hotel before you'll get back to your vehicle, especially cuz the driver loads and unloads baggage for each passenger at the back of the bus, every stop. All in all, not a bad experience, but I can see why this off airport parking facility was cheaper than the others.
