    Crispy skin brick chicken.
    Mark O.

Unlike the previous review left by Karen, I didn't sense any problems with the volume of music from the casino floor. Despite being a Saturday evening, I was seated immediately and without any attitude for being a one-top. My server was friendly, efficient, and checked back in regularly. I ordered the crispy skin brick chicken, which comes sided with a side salad, mashed potatoes and a seasonal vegetable blend. The seasonal veggies were a wonderful fire-roasted squash, onion, and broccoli blend that was wonderfully seasoned. The mashed potatoes seemed very average and were of the same quality you can get from the buffet line. The chicken, as advertised, had a crispy skin and was also seasoned well. You also get half a lemon that has been lightly grilled to add additional flavor to your meat. The salad seemed quite generous for a large and consisted of spring mix, cherry tomatoes, shaved carrot, and croutons. I selected a balsamic vinaigrette for my dressing and it seemed overly tart. The salad itself was fine, but nothing special. Ruthie's will always be the top-tier option at RCGR, but 22&Vine (named for the nearby highway intersection) is an excellent secondary option.

(NOTE: This dining venue is located WITHIN the casino floor, so children are not allowed to patronize this restaurant.) Here are my thoughts below! Food: I order a "Book Burger" which is essentially the restaurant's take on a bacon cheese burger. The burger came with a side of fries. The meal was very average to subpar. The burger itself was dry and did not have much flavor. The patty was very thin and looked like it might have just been a frozen puck before it was prepared. I'd rate the meal a 4.8/10. Service: Despite the subpar food, the service here was very good. Attentive waitresses and prompt service! Ambiance: My motivation for coming to this sports bar was not for a specific game/viewing party. However, this place would be EXCELLENT for those who enjoy gambling and want to catch an Iowa/(Insert your team's) sporting event. The bar has a calendar of upcoming viewing parties they host throughout the coming weeks! Ample TVs and good vibes abound! All in all, if Draft Day stepped up their culinary abilities, this would easily break into a 5/5 sports bar.

We travelled at the end of January and after a long day of travel and many delays due to heavy low fog, we were definitely excited to have a restaurant right in the hotel. There is a parking lot across the street and a parking deck behind as well so there is plenty of parking. The restaurant is located right in the lobby and also has a full bar. My coworker and I were dying for a drink and some food after a long morning. The bar has speciality cocktails, but also a full bar, wine, and beer. You can check out their speciality cocktails, wine, and beer lists on their website as well as make reservations. For food, my coworker and I decided to share a few appetizers. We ordered the Brussels Sprouts, Wings (1/2 Honey Sriracha, 1/2 Ginger Scallion), and the Baked Goat Cheese. They were all DELICIOUS! The flavors were great and the portions were as well. I've never had goat cheese before and it was so amazing I couldn't stop eating it. The sriracha wings were spicy, but not overwhelming. Later, some other people met us and we ordered the shrimp tacos which were also very good. The next morning we also had breakfast and I ordered the Omelet which comes made-to-order and you can choose 4 different additions. It also comes with potatoes. All delicious. Additionally, the service was also great as well! If I'm ever back in Muscatine I will definitely plan to return.

I ordered a Margarita. It was excellent! Great taste and nice presentation. My wife gota a glass of wine from their decent wine list, and my brother got a very reasonably priced 7-7. Drinks were great and our food came out quickly. I got the Montreal Beef Sandwich. Tasty brisket with a great combination of flavors. Fries were good. My wife got the Salmon BLT, which was also very good, with great bacon and a nice slab of fish. She got the upcharged Brussels Sprouts for her side and they were also tasty. My brother got the Arnold Palmer Chicken Sandwich, a tea-soaked sandwich that he enjoyed. He got the house chips, and they were also good. Service was attentive, and both servers who hit up our table were great. Fun vibe, and what looks to be and up-and-coming neighborhood.

The salmon was good on my egg Benedict, but the hollandaise sauce was clumpy and it was overall underwhelming. The bite I had of my friend's lox bagel tasted pretty good. I ordered the Chocolate Chip Banana Brioche Bread Pudding for dessert and my friend order the beignets. I thought the chocolate chip and chocolate sauce overpowered the bread pudding. I would have preferred less chocolate sauce and more cream sauce to balance out the chocolate chips. However, if you are a chocolate lover and you can enjoy it with a large glass of milk it may be right up your alley. The beignet were disappointing compared to those in New Orleans. The beignet's exterior was harder than normal and they weren't as fluffy. The service was overall good, however I wish the waitress would have asked if I would like a refill, versus me flagging her down 10 minutes after my glass was empty especially since the soda/tea glasses are about half the size of other restaurants.
