Trying to cancel a membership here has been a nightmare. I reached out multiple times over the course of months with no response, yet continued to be charged. Getting in touch with customer service is nearly impossible, and when you do, nothing gets resolved. Between the overcrowding, lack of available equipment, and the complete failure in basic customer service, this has easily been the worst gym experience I've ever had. Save yourself the frustration and go somewhere that actually values its members. I'd genuinely rather work out in a park than deal with this again.

When he did soccer, he was "that kid," the one picking weeds and doing somersaults while the other boys actually played. But here, he is completely focused, takes direction really well, and this is the only place he physically pulls me towards the studio door when we arrive. All of the masters are very personal. I don't know how they do it, but they know every student's name and strengths and they know who the parents are and come talk to you. You can tell that they live what they do. In addition to learning the moves, they are constantly teaching the students about self-discipline, perseverance, and believing in themselves. Our son is starting to put that into his every day life and school time as well. He is happier, more self-confident and believes he can do it with practice. I can't say enough good things about this place. I wish we could come every day and stay all day and night. The smile our son has when he is there just radiates off his face like the sun.

I recently switched from Orange Theory (OTF) to Forge Fitness. While I'm eternally grateful to OTF…read morefor getting me back on the fitness track, the change feels like going from high school to a university program, with a lot more breadth (much more than just dumbbells and TRX) and depth (more emphasis on form and tracking) at Forge, particularly for strength training. Here I am, never having heard of Hyrox before, suddenly doing sled pushes, skiergs and medicine ball wall throws, on top of the more familiar Concept rowers and air bikes. Lots of attention from the instructors (whose credentials are impeccable), and a very involved owner. I haven't done any of the nutritional counseling yet, but this is included as part of the program. All, in all, Forge offers the scheduled group sessions that I already know help keep me accountable (I can never do this on my own at a big box gym), along with an emphasis on tracked progression that will definitely push me to the next level of fitness. Addendum 8/22/26: metrics by DEXA scan (compared to 5/31/25, about when I first started at Forge) show that I (in my late 60s) lost 15.1 lbs of fat mass ( body fat % went from 19.8% to 10.9%) while gaining 5.9 lbs lean mass. Of course I've also been tracking calorie and protein macros (no GLP-1 agonists, though).

(We had PPO insurance with my husband's employer but changed to my HMO after he retired.). We originally went with a PCP with Memorial Care since the dermatologist was listed on the Memorial Care site. Well, after that visit, my husband found out that he could not get a referral to his dermatologist from this PCP, and the PCP wanted to perform his dermatology exams in-house. That's not what we wanted; he has been with his dermatologist for a few years and has had skin cancer and lipomas removed by them. They have given him great care. We contacted the dermatologist and found out they're on the Providence Heritage network. That's how we found Dr. Kundula - a local doctor with Providence Heritage group. I set an appointment for my husband, and I had a great conversation with Dr. Kundula. My husband reluctantly went to this appointment after having a previously bad experience with the other PCP. I believe the appointment was at 4 pm. I hadn't heard from my husband until about 6 pm (an hour after Dr. Kundula's office closes). I thought he was upset about another bad experience. Instead, he told me that he's just leaving the office. He and Dr. Kundula were chatting as if they're old friends. Disclosure - my husband is an introvert and shy, so if he stayed to talk to someone new for 2 hours, that says something about Dr. Kundula. I had another doctor assigned as my PCP. Needless to say, Dr. Kundula is now my PCP, and we have our 19-year-old son seeing him as well. He truly is a gem - personable, responsive, and caring. He is proactive and follows through. We couldn't ask for a better doctor!
