I was referred to 212 Motoring by two people who have been using them for years. I don't know why all the car owners I see with a 212 Motoring License plate holder do not write positive reviews because if they're using the frame they must be happy. The bad reviews are from 6 or 7 years ago. I had an AWESOME experience when I came to have some lighting work done on my 2020 Range Rover Sport HST. I met with Harry the owner, discussed my needs and he immediately knew what I needed and we set up an appointment. When I came in a few days later Thomas and his coworker were extremely friendly, walked me through the process and kept me in the loop and asking for my input as they did the work. You could tell they were confident in their knowledge and you could tell they had worked on a lot of Range Rovers before. Everything that had to come off, came off and was treated carefully like they were handling an infant. They completed the job in about 2 1/2 hours, were meticulous in all their work, and made everything look like it came from the factory. That included placement of the switches. They work on very high end cars, there were a few new Porche's, a Ferrari, and I know people with Bentley's, Mercedes, and BMW who are extremely happy with their work. They have a great selection of wheels, and can install virtually any vehicle accessory needed. They do wraps, tints, ceramic coating, 3 M clear coat application and much, much more! I would highly recommend them for your auto installs to and any vehicle needs. read more

Went in to paint my calipers, Tom & his assistant did a great job, love the finish; you want a good job on your car pay the above average price... Simple...why he didn't get a better rating was his customer service.... As i sat quietly while driving i heard a chirping sound from the lower part of my car (the rims) & i call 212 motoring to discuss it, like hey can i send you a clip of this chirping (w/ 2023 technology) Dude says "I don't give out my private information" (SMUG) "Your A Business... its 2023, get over yourself thanks for the privilege.... After some back n forth, we decide to act like men... he tells me to bring it in, I bring a beer over to the neighbor for a listen, its the overspray from the paint, mystery solved... Overall decent... Its a shop/dealership, go buy one of his Brabus's or what ever they call em, they look nice !!! read more

Great people. Knowledgeable and worth the price. There's more value in good workmanship than there is in cheaper prices. Always go with the better workmanship. Harry is a stand up guy. Can't go wrong. read more

I have a Porsche and it did not have Apple car play installed from the factory. Harry was able to install this system in my car without any modifications to my dashboard or the screen that came with the car. I couldn't believe it. It works perfect. Sure it was expensive but you get what you pay for. I did not expect it to work so well and look like a factory install. All of my components work together in the car. It did not interrupt anything. My car was given back to me clean and with no damage. I had damage on other cars not from his place. I would use this company for any of my friends need help with aftermarket equipment. read more

Response to David S.'s comment: You guys are so lucky you are the only shop around that does this type of stuff or else you'd be out of business in no time. Clean up your act, or dont tell people you are capable of doing things dont know how to do. That was embarrassing, my brother was in town from boston, we were thankful just to get his car started after we thought you had done something horribly wrong. Seriously, when we saw you guys push his car in and out of the garage, that was bad. And we didnt just wait 40 mins, we waited over 3 hours! Stay away from this place if you are getting anything serious done! read more

Reply to David S. Sir, instead of leaving snarky comments, why don't you attempt to address an unhappy paying customer's complaints.... Your comment reflects the behavior of your company... Unprofessional and inaccurate. All the parts that I bought from your shop lasted less than 1 year... So no warranty?? The parts which I bought elsewhere still work fine but were not installed properly. I had to have the entire system rewired. I tried 3 times to get my vehicle in to be repaired a second time before going elsewhere. If you would like, I can post pics of the wiring you guys did...they took pictures and sent to me... It was embarrassing. Feel free to comment on this. Original post: They installed 5 things on my truck. In less than a year 2 out of 5 were not working. Went in to have them repaired, they fixed them but charged me for the parts. About a year after that, 4/5 do not work. Called on a Thursday morning to talk about repairs and I was told to call Monday to make an appointment! The wiring and instalation of all 5 things were both sloppy and unfinished... read more

This place is great and gives excellent customer service. It's the only place I take my car for any type of after-market modifications! : )

212motoring the best or nothing Harry and his team are amazing at what they do and reasonable prices

The service was terrible. They made me war around for hours and in the end I was made to feel like they were doing me a favor. I had to come back to fix install on a stereo and speakers twice and in the end I gave up. I wound up going to best buy and they had to fix everything these guys butchered. The tech showed me that they did a crappy and speedy job. Save your money and don't go there. Maybe years ago the place was good, but it has gone down the drain. read more

A few months ago, I brought my 2006 Honda Element that I just purchased in to the shop for a few minor upgrades (tints, headlight upgrade and a remote start) and they were done PERFECTLY and at a reasonable price ... Though my crappy car was surrounded by Porsches, a Bentley and a MINT '87 Buick Grand National they still took the time to make me feel like a valuable customer ... While I was in the shop I told the owner that I wanted to upgrade the lighting on my 2010 Harley-Davidson Street Glide ... He told me they don't really do motorcycle that often but he'll look into it ... the next day I got a call from him and he said he could do it - for less that Harley-Davidson would charge - and the following week they installed the bulbs - and it was done RIGHT ... I feel very comfortable letting them personalize my car and though I can't really afford the big ticket stuff and don't own an exotic car I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM for he work that they did! Yeah, I'll be back ... read more

If you have money to burn this place . Dishonest , you won't get a straight answer and poor work performance but street mechanics. Uncertified work performance "yea yea yea don't worry we'll take care of it" is what you will from Harry the owner but its your wallet and car that will suffer .5 years later I'm still paying for after market upgrades only to find out things were rigged . Run from this place.... Poor customer service , workmanship and a whole lot of BS ..... read more

First off to who ever isn't happy with the tint jobs from 212 Motoring "you are full of crap" if you can't afford tints then don't get them at all. Harry has some of the top tinters in Brooklyn. Second of all he stands behind his work. Go to his shop and look at the pictures on the walls of all the celebrities, and guess what? This is before he was really known. Great place, no gimmicks. By far the worst experience. Installed my stereo system consisting of 4 c3 jl audio component speakers, a sub and 900/5 jl audio amp. It took them most of the day to finish. got in the car everything looked okay until it got dark out and the headlights automatically turned on and the music stopped working. When I called to state my issue, he was very rude and told me that he cannot do anything and to come back tomorrow. I came back the next day and he had an attitude and told me that he was on lunch. After fixing the issue, I started noticing that battery is draining very fast. Now I have to and get the entire stereo system rewired. I caution you to think twice about coming here. There not professional and it conveys in there work. read more

By far the worst customer service I have ever experienced from a custom auto shop. The pregnant girl in the front ignored me for 5 minutes while she talked on the phone, like I was invisible. She was totally clueless about what was going on in the shop or where anyone was. She complained non-stop about the phone ringing so much and the AC not working. I made an appointment to have my headlight repaired and to have a stereo system put in. When I got there, they said they were too busy to put in my stereo and told me it would take 30 minutes for them to "look" at my headlight. An hour later, nobody "looked" at my car. The waiting area had one chair and piles of boxes everywhere. Some guy came in with a nail in his tire and the girl told me it would be another hour before they "looked" at my car, and the other guy with the nail in his tire had to go first. So I took my money somewhere else, and got the job done for half the price and in 45 minutes. Very unprofessional staff at 212 Motoring. The only guy working on cars was on his phone talking about clothes and sweeping papers on the floor and moving soda cans around. They said they were busy, but I didn't see anyone working. The pregnant girl tried to tell one of the bosses about a problem but he didn't even want to hear it. He was mumbling something about one thing at a time. I even think he was high. This place is a joke. Customer service is the worst. The owner needs to run a tighter ship or this place is doomed. Stay away from this place. Worst experience ever. read more
