After some back n forth, we decide to act like men... he tells me to bring it in, I bring a beer over to the neighbor for a listen, its the overspray from the paint, mystery solved... I was referred to 212 Motoring by two people who have been using them for years. I don't know why all the car owners I see with a 212 Motoring License plate holder do not write positive reviews because if they're using the frame they must be happy. The bad reviews are from 6 or 7 years ago. I had an AWESOME experience when I came to have some lighting work done on my 2020 Range Rover Sport HST. I met with Harry the owner, discussed my needs and he immediately knew what I needed and we set up an appointment. When I came in a few days later Thomas and his coworker were extremely friendly, walked me through the process and kept me in the loop and asking for my input as they did the work. You could tell they were confident in their knowledge and you could tell they had worked on a lot of Range Rovers before. Everything that had to come off, came off and was treated carefully like they were handling an infant. They completed the job in about 2 1/2 hours, were meticulous in all their work, and made everything look like it came from the factory. That included placement of the switches. They work on very high end cars, there were a few new Porche's, a Ferrari, and I know people with Bentley's, Mercedes, and BMW who are extremely happy with their work. They have a great selection of wheels, and can install virtually any vehicle accessory needed. They do wraps, tints, ceramic coating, 3 M clear coat application and much, much more! Unprofessional and inaccurate. All the parts that I bought from your shop lasted less than 1 year... So no warranty?? The parts which I bought elsewhere still work fine but were not installed properly. I had to have the entire system rewired. I tried 3 times to get my vehicle in to be repaired a second time before going elsewhere. If you would like, I can post pics of the wiring you guys did...they took pictures and sent to me... A few months ago, I brought my 2006 Honda Element that I just purchased in to the shop for a few minor upgrades (tints, headlight upgrade and a remote start) and they were done PERFECTLY and at a reasonable price ... Though my crappy car was surrounded by Porsches, a Bentley and a MINT '87 Buick Grand National they still took the time to make me feel like a valuable customer ... While I was in the shop I told the owner that I wanted to upgrade the lighting on my 2010 Harley-Davidson Street Glide ... He told me they don't really do motorcycle that often but he'll look into it ... the next day I got a call from him and he said he could do it - for less that Harley-Davidson would charge - and the following week they installed the bulbs - and it was done RIGHT ... I feel very comfortable letting them personalize my car and though I can't really afford the big ticket stuff and don't own an exotic car I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM for he work that they did! The service was terrible. They made me war around for hours and in the end I was made to feel like they were doing me a favor. I had to come back to fix install on a stereo and speakers twice and in the end I gave up. I wound up going to best buy and they had to fix everything these guys butchered. By far the worst experience. Installed my stereo system consisting of 4 c3 jl audio component speakers, a sub and 900/5 jl audio amp. It took them most of the day to finish. got in the car everything looked okay until it got dark out and the headlights automatically turned on and the music stopped working. When I called to state my issue, he was very rude and told me that he cannot do anything and to come back tomorrow. I came back the next day and he had an attitude and told me that he was on lunch. After fixing the issue, I started noticing that battery is draining very fast. Now I have to and get the entire stereo system rewired. I caution you to think twice about coming here. By far the worst customer service I have ever experienced from a custom auto shop. The pregnant girl in the front ignored me for 5 minutes while she talked on the phone, like I was invisible. She was totally clueless about what was going on in the shop or where anyone was. She complained non-stop about the phone ringing so much and the AC not working. I made an appointment to have my headlight repaired and to have a stereo system put in. When I got there, they said they were too busy to put in my stereo and told me it would take 30 minutes for them to "look" at my headlight. An hour later, nobody "looked" at my car. The waiting area had one chair and piles of boxes everywhere. Some guy came in with a nail in his tire and the girl told me it would be another hour before they "looked" at my car, and the other guy with the nail in his tire had to go first. So I took my money somewhere else, and got the job done for half the price and in 45 minutes. Very unprofessional staff at 212 Motoring. The only guy working on cars was on his phone talking about clothes and sweeping papers on the floor and moving soda cans around. They said they were busy, but I didn't see anyone working. The pregnant girl tried to tell one of the bosses about a problem but he didn't even want to hear it. He was mumbling something about one thing at a time. I even think he was high. This place is a joke. Customer service is the worst. The owner needs to run a tighter ship or this place is doomed. Stay away from this place. Worst experience ever. read more
