Upper end places are hard to find in Oroville and this place met my expectations! They do cuts and hair color..nails and facials! This photo is from my first visit on 8/24. Kaylee was very welcoming and friendly. Her knowledge of color matching was spot on. She took her time and listened to my concerns about my hair and did her best to make me feel comfortable. I went in with what I thought to be pretty damaged hair and I hated the color. I am naturally salt and pepper but the last salon messed up the color so Kaylee did her best to color match to my salt and pepper color. She told me it would take a few times to get to the desired color. I was fine with that. My hair looked beautiful when she finished. Not quite the salt and pepper I want, but I knew going in she wouldn't be able to fix it right away, but I was very thrilled with what she accomplished. She also washed and styled my hair. I have been in two other times and we are making progress. I highly recommend Kaylee for you hair needs. read more

Tara is AMAZING! She has been making me beautiful for 12 years! She helps me try something new without letting me go off the rails. And people constantly ask me who does my hair. In the last few years she has started cutting my teenage sons hair. It looks like a work of art. She has always been wonderful about scheduling, ALWAYS making time for me. Extremely disappointed .... I waited a day before posting, my wife and I were so upset at these people. Background. It was my 70th birthday on Wed Dec 14th. I just got over 7 weeks of Chemo & Radiation for throat cancer, lost 50 lbs. Wife wanted to make a special birthday, I've been through a lot. My wife WALKED into the spa a week before and made appointments with Melody for both of us, 1:00pm for me for a Mani with Sam. Then a 1:30pm both Sam & Rachael for a Pedi for my wife and I together. She received (2) confirmation / reminder texts before the reservation date. My wife had bought a bottle of Champaigne & brought (2) glass's with our names engraved on them along when we arrive just before 1pm on Wed Dec 14th. Walked in the door, told them we were there for the services and the young lady behind the desk looked like a deer in headlights. She had no idea who we were and the appointments ? We calmly explained the above and she went and got another girl right in front of us discussed what they could do with us. It turns out one of the two girls wasn't even working that day, the other girl was booked but reluctantly said she could make room for us one at a time but had to wait for 45 minutes. Thats NOT what we wanted. Plus who wants to be pushed in between other appointments when you made arraignments over a week ago ? I was furious and told them so.... They completely ruined the beginning of a well planned "Special Day" for me and I can't tell you how disappointed we both are at your business and how we were treated !!!! My wife was nearly in tears, she had planned this special day for weeks. We are new to the area, just moved here and my wife enjoys these services on a reg basis. Your business is a "Hot Mess" if this is how you treat your customers. We did everything possible to make this happen smoothly but you brushed it off like it was nothing. Then as we left the girl very rudely says "Have a nice rest of your day". Rubbing in HER incompetence. You will NEVER see either of us in your establishment again and will be happy to share our experience with our friends and family..... read more

In two attempts to patronize 2110 spa, I've come to decide that my review is favorable. The first attempt: not as successful, due to a mistake with a gift certificate that happened to coincide with my 30th birthday. Suffice it to say, I ended up fronting the cash for my massage and pedicure, in spite of my gift-giver's best efforts to arrange payment beforehand. While I found the waiting 15 minutes for the matter to be cleared up a minor annoyance, I WAS pleased with the massage. The pedicure... well, I've had better. One thing about this salon is that they do offer a variety of services, from traditional salon stuff (which I don't think I would try - unless I was 70), many Aveda products (love that), manicures, pedicures, massages and an aesthetician. I've now tried all the services BUT the salon (see above) and I've been overall impressed. It's a small place, but much, much classier than you would expect to find, well, anywhere in Oroville. It's got a soothing atmosphere, swathed in gauzy white curtains and brick walls, and a fireplace in the seating area. Very relaxing. A cute spa. with reasonable (but not cheap) prices. In Oroville. Not bad. I would suggest trying one of their package deals, but just be prepared (as with most places here, I've found... which I've never encountered anywhere else in the U.S.) to pay for each individual service separately. For example, if you get a pedicure with person A and then a massage with person B, you will pay two separate checks. And some of the staff do not take cards. Confusing, I know. You know what? Unacceptable - they committed to help me with my wedding hair on my wedding day, and they just never showed up!!! This is just NOT okay. It's not hard to say you can't make it - but don't just not show up when people are counting on you for their wedding!!! With customer service like that, I don't care if they're technically skilled, this is beyond unacceptable. read more

First off, the salon itself is gorgeous, they offer you iced water, and everyone there is friendly. They have Bumble and Bumble, Aveda and Opi products for sale. They are the highest-end salon in Oroville, and tend to be pretty pricy. However, I have been searching high and low for a professional stylist that does good color and has high attention to detail. I though I had found a stylist in Nicole that could be groomed to my expectations, but I was very disappointed in her work and professionalism. Every time I went there was something I wasn't quite happy with, but I went back to give her a shot, and communicate what I didn't like in the hopes that she would improve. In addition, Oroville is a small town, and she chose to gossip about me to her friends, and had to have said a lot for them to realize exactly who I am, and for that to get back to me. I am not happy, and am now researching to find another PROFESSIONAL high-end salon in Chico. It is worth the hour round trip to not have a stylist that will gossip about you. read more

I will let the rating stand because it does deserve it. I have become more experienced with getting pedicures now. I do still think that 2110 is a great option, but I think it is too pricey. Based on price alone I have found other places who do a better pedicure for much less. read more

This review is specifically for Rhonda. I realized today that I've had my hair cut by Rhonda pretty consistently for the past six years, with only a few deviations due to her pregnancies and my schedule. While I've had some decent haircuts at other locations, Rhonda is the only hairstylist who truly knows how to deal with my thick, coarse, wavy/curly hair. Stylists at 2110 set their own prices, and Rhonda has always charged a flat, fair price for a cut 'n style. Now that I'm living and going to school in the Bay Area, I purposefully schedule my haircuts around visits home to Oroville. If you're a curly girl like me (or guy!) and are looking for someone who understands your hair, go to Rhonda! It's EVEN worth a trip from Chico! read more

2110 is a very nice upscale salon in downtown Oroville. I've had my hair cut there once and have bought my bare minerals make up there. They have wonderful customer service with iced tea and water for your wait and friendly employees. The interior is just gorgeous with huge floor mirrors at every station and very chick decor. However, while it's a great salon experience, I can't find myself spending what they charge. I have found another salon in Oroville where I can the same salon experience for half the cost. Also, I have tried booking a pedicure/manicure appt there with a gift card I received last year for mothers day, but because I was told they only have 1 employee that does the pedis and manis, you have to book two weeks - one month in advance. I don't know about you, but when I don't like having to wait two weeks to one month to get my pedi/mani. I want it (and need it for my sanity's sake) in the next day or two at the latest. So for me, that was just annoying and frustrating. Overall, this is a perfect salon if you don't mind spending the money. Otherwise, if you're like me and are on a tighter budget and are looking for a salon in Oroville, I highly recommend Express Yourself Salon and Spa (check my review for their salon). read more

I can't express how wonderful Tara is! I've been getting my hair done by her (both at 2110 and at her previous location) since 2001, and she is absolutely fantastic! She does beautiful color and cuts. I don't trust anyone else to highlight my hair; I've been driving back to Oroville to have her do my hair since leaving for college 10 years ago! I normally go to another place to get pedicures. However, it's not very relaxing. So I searched for another place and ended up here with an appointment with Rachel (sp?). She was great. Nice massage, took her time and nice conversation but not over talkative. She let me relax. I will definitely make another appointment. read more
