He wouldn't know what a schedule is if it punched him in the face. He said he would do one thing to get the job, even signed a contract, but then went back on his word and said he wouldn't be able to complete the project with the budget, that is after he'd been paid upfront. And the worse part, he knows he can get away with it without consequences. He purchased material for his other projects with my budget. He won't provide documentation of the project spending so that the homeowner could understand the status of the job until it was too late. He steals from everyone he is in contact with, suppliers, rental companies, homeowners, employees, etc. When he was fired, he wouldn't return the unspent budget. His workmanship is of poor quality. When he was terminated much of the work he performed had to be replaced or repaired just to pass inspection. He pieces work together and tries to cover it up. He over sales his skill set of what he can do. He isn't familiar with building codes, which results in lost labor and material when he or someone else must come back and repair it to pass inspection. He isn't familiar with industry building standards on very basic stuff. He was fired from my project the same time he was terminated from 2 other projects, and then terminated from the next project he began after mine. Seriously, there are some good contractors out there and this guy is not one of them. Do your due diligence and background check this guy/business. He has a horrible legal track record both personally and professionally. Don't let him fool you into thinking he knows what he's doing.

Very happy! This…read morewas a 'Yelp Recommended" business and they got back to me within 24 hours. They made an appointment to get right out for the estimate and I had a written estimate within a day! It was very detailed and accurate as to what I should expect. I did receive 3 estimates and this was in the middle. I think based on the outcome it was a great value! One issue they do need to address is communication. From the office to the workers. No one wants to confirm when or if they are coming and it will be up to the customer to call and confirm times. If they had communicated better they would have gotten 5 stars. That said they always did show when scheduled just late at times. (I'm a bit anal, lol) The paint job exceeded my expectation! The crew could not have been nicer and a pleasure to have around. They were respectful of my home and property and cleaned up very well after themselves. Following completion they sent out an "Inspector" to go over the work they had done! He did find a few things that needed addressing and they had it resolved in a matter of days. This was what I would call a "technical" paint job and I am very particular. I would not be afraid to recommend this company to anyone for any job!

My best friend is an interior designer who specializes in kitchens, so she had told me everything to look for in a painter, and Ron checks all the boxes. First of all, he was the ONLY person who specifically answered all the questions in my Yelp inquiry, everyone else just said, "please contact us to schedule a quote". Secondly, after spending a good chunk of his time answering my questions, I was thrilled to hear that he would take my doors & drawer fronts to be done in a climate-controlled warehouse to cure, also something most painters don't do. We trusted our home to Ron & his crew to do our cabinets while we were on vacation and they were very respectful of our property, and nothing was out of place when we returned. The work area was cleaned up, and free of fumes, and most importantly, my cabinets look amazing! My husband and I got to know him a bit while he reinstalled the cabinet doors and drawer fronts and he is an upstanding, hardworking guy- the kind of person you want working for you. Cares a lot about quality and customer service. I told him he nailed it with us- we are already planning to have him back to do our trim. Thank you Ron & Dan!

I needed a follow up visit after my first service which they charged me $160 for and did absolutely nothing I needed. The office offered to comp the first hour of my next service because of the poor communication and bill I had already paid. When they came out for next service (which took 40 min), my bill was more than double the first time. They became very defensive when I wanted a price breakdown, and finally told me I was being charged for gas, as well as time it took to drive to my house (I live down the road from their office), as well as time it took to gather materials before coming to my house??? This was a very easy hot tub hookup. With this type of vagueness and lack of transparency they can charge whatever they want for any amount of time before even coming to my house. I've had a terrible experience working with Rocky Mountain Electric, and regret trusting them to come back and make up for the sketchiness of their first visit. I should have read the yelp reviews. Save your time and money and go elsewhere.
