We contracted with AAA Action Painting to do our HOA's external building paint. This was after a…read morereceiving a couple of bids from other paint contractors. AAA was not the cheapest but they we not the most expensive either. Thier bid was detailed and thorough. Once we picked our colors the crew gave us a start date and they started on that day. They worked efficiently and completed the job around the day they said they would finish (actually a bit early). Thier crews were curteous, friendly, and very conscious that they were disrupting our home life a bit. They all seemed to be very experienced. They followed our directions for the most part. But the issue was resolved quickly and even though it resulted in some rework they did not complain about it. When the job was complete we did our walk around inspections of all the buildings and found just a few items (much less than our previous paint contractors over the years and less than I thought there would be with a job this large). They resolved all these issues within a couple of days. Overall. Smoothest job we have ever had. Usually there is lots of back and forth with the contractor over things but not these guys. Thier bid covered about every thing we ran into. My one ding to an otherwise perfect score was the many phone calls from the main office wanting an answer on our funding. I felt I was upfront and clear on when I would know because this was an HOA funded project that needed a vote to proceed. Anyway I know he needed to know so he could schedule it due to the booming housing market so I totally understand his position on this. I would definitely do business with these guys again and would not hesitate recommending them.

They made an appointment to get right out for the estimate and I had a written estimate within a day! It was very detailed and accurate as to what I should expect. I did receive 3 estimates and this was in the middle. I think based on the outcome it was a great value! One issue they do need to address is communication. From the office to the workers. No one wants to confirm when or if they are coming and it will be up to the customer to call and confirm times. If they had communicated better they would have gotten 5 stars. That said they always did show when scheduled just late at times. (I'm a bit anal, lol) The paint job exceeded my expectation! The crew could not have been nicer and a pleasure to have around. They were respectful of my home and property and cleaned up very well after themselves. Following completion they sent out an "Inspector" to go over the work they had done! He did find a few things that needed addressing and they had it resolved in a matter of days. This was what I would call a "technical" paint job and I am very particular.
