CROOKS - DO NOT HIRE! Erik Dolqueist of 20/20 visual is unethical and has terrible business practices. He took my money and left me with a website that crashed within 2 weeks of getting it going and thereafter could not be fixed. Erik said he would try to fix it, then went dark on me for more than a month with no follow up, explanation for not getting back to me, or update on timing for the repairs. Desperate, I tried to have another web designer get the site up and running, but they said there were too many internal errors to fix the site so I was forced to start from scratch. I tried to get my money refunded. They refused and said it wasn't their fault. Well, Erik was the only one who worked on the site. I will be suing him to get my money back as others have done. I have to lower my review of 20/20 (20/Twenty) Visual today (10/23/18) from two stars to one star after I received an email from 20/20 Visual "principal" (and likely only employee) Erik Dolquist in which he physically threatened me solely due to the wording of my below (formerly 2 Star) Yelp review of him and his company 20/20 Visual. As a result of Erik's bizarre email threats I was forced to file a police report with the Alameda Police Department. Based on Erik's recent threatening conduct, I strongly recommend everyone against doing business with Erik and 20/20 Visual. A very sad state of affairs. My unedited Yelp review narrative that apparently enraged Erik: Our company recently used 20/20 Visual to re-do and refresh our corporate web-site. In large part we chose 20/20 Visual due to their 12 Five Star Yelp Reviews. We wanted new and hip and interesting, and what we got was updated variant of our current site, and lots of frustration getting the new site to work properly. It took 3x longer than promised, and there were many headaches along the way. Company owner Erik Dolquist- who appears to currently be the whole 20/20 Visual company - is a very pleasant guy, but not at all good at taking notes during meetings (OK, he never took notes) or following up on many of his promises in a timely manner. Only after many, many phone calls, texts and emails with Erik were we finally able to get a refreshed web-site that worked even as well as our original site. Erik may be an honest guy, and he eventually got the new site to work properly, but it was a very painful process to get there. Before choosing 20/20 Visual as your web design company, recognize that all their other Yelp 5 Star Reviews were from 2010 - 2013. I don't believe the 20/20 Visual company of 2018 is the same company as it was in 2013. Clearly there is a gap of 5 years in their Yelp reviews, and new customers should take that big time gap and staff changes during those years into account when choosing a web-design company. Recommend that potential clients obtain recent verifiable client references before hiring 20/20 Visual. read more

I had the pleasure of working with Erik on a project for one of my clients. Erik did the original design and concept of the website and I was asked by the client to work with him on making additional edits. This was my first time working with 20/20 visual, so I had no idea what to expect. Erik worked quickly and efficiently keeping in mind our budget. He was extremely attentive making my life easier. Eric and Zoe are nothing short of amazing. They just finished updating my identity, and I LOVE my new logo. I have gotten more compliments than I can count. So Eric built the website for the Limo company that i used to manage. I basically told him what i wanted the site to look like and he interpreted my ideas so creatively!! He did a great job and was very reasonably priced. He pretty much built our website from scratch and it worked well... Unfortunately the company went down the tube and could never afford to get the site finished but as far as working with Eric, he was awesome. Working with Erik and Zoe has been a great experience. A few months ago, the nonprofit I work for approached 20/20 to build a small website for us called MyDebtStory.com. They agreed to work within our limited budget, and within a month, we had our first draft ready. Then, our nonprofit decided to take the site to a national audience and found room in our budget for more web development. Erik and Zoe were totally understanding and worked for another month on the site, meeting all of our requests and even working late hours to get the site up and running by its official launch date. The 20-20 Vis team does amazing graphic and web design work for almost any need. I had them design wedding invitations, club fliers and even set up an e commerce site for me .... complete with on line payment options etc. The style they use is very unique and can adapt to any situation.... plus VERY affordable.... allowing you to purchase blocks of time so you don't get trapped into a big project if it does not all go well for you. 5 stars from this side of the bridge! read more

20/20 Visual did a fabulous job designing ecobling.biz. The layout is built in flash very sleek and easy to move through. They did exactly what we had invisioned. They built a checkout system on our web page for our products, set up our paypal system, and connected us to all the social networking sites to help promote our product. . We are very happy with the design of our website. Erik and Zoe are easy to work with, have great ideas, give you there recommendations with the pros and cons to each idea and why they chose one over the other.
