Inside, the smell of freshly popped popcorn will greet you as you make your way into the lobby/foyer. Despite the ornate gold fixtures and red velvet curtains in the auditorium that speak to the theatre's bygone days, it's now a family-friendly place so popcorn as a snack option is a hit. Ticket prices are reasonable so the whole family can experience live theatre without breaking the bank. The matinee performances on Saturdays and Sundays are perfect for kids and birthday parties are a regular event. At the end of performances, after curtain calls, the cast announce the names of the birthday boys and girls and everyone, including the audience, sings happy birthday. It's also has a good size seating capacity. It has a Center seating section, with additional seating sections on each side. There was also a small balcony. There are Covid precautions in place and masks are required to be worn at this juncture. The actors and actresses were all members of the community. Quite honestly they were superb. The play was Steel Magnolia's. This story was rolled out and brought out all the emotions that we have-at different times during the play. My nephew was actually the one that told me about the play and when I found out he was interested in going I thought it would be a great opportunity for both of us! There were small breaks between Acts and an intermission halfway through the production. Cookies, water and other small items were available for purchase. Any food and beverage had to be ingested up where it was sold so as to preserve the beauty of the auditorium. I wondered how they were going to do "Steel Magnolia's" as I saw the movie years ago and knew the sad outcome. The way they modified the play encompassed the spirit of the situation without having a death bed scene. I found myself crying anyway. Both of us thoroughly enjoyed the production and we have every intention of returning in the near future! "Bravo", "Encore".. Hartland City Players- thank you for such an enjoyable evening!!

The bride picked the painting for the group which was a sunset with a palm tree. Larisa was very sweet and came early to my in-laws home to set everything up an hour or so before the party started. Larisa had an easy breezy attitude which I think helps with the pressure of others wanting to do a good job with their painting. She did a great job explaining how to paint our painting and was non-judgmental of everyone's work. She was also funny and personable - you can tell she is passionate about her business! The price was $35/person and the painting lasted 2 hours total. We all gave her cash. All the supplies were provided and all the ladies had a great time. Once our paintings were dry, Larisa took a picture of us and our creations.
