It's a hidden gem. It's a few miles off Rt. 80. It was worth the ride. The price was good as well.

Food is plain at best. The service is not great either. The few time I did try they messed up my order.

Ordered a bit late...but they made the pizza to go! Very tasty after an 11 hr. drive! Affordable to boot!! We would get pizza here again!

The restaurant had everything set up for us and the wait staff was great! Appetizers were ordered and the clams, and chicken wings came out cold. The chef came out and explained that the kitchen did not have the same type of heating as the restaurant and he was freezing back there. He said the heat lamps could not keep up with the cold temperatures, so he had no control over serving cold food. He said he would remove them from the bill for us. Seemed like a very odd explanation. I ordered seafood linguine but received seafood risotto. They offered to remake it quick but I declined since everyone else had their food. For the price of the plate I expected more than 2 scallops quartered and 5-6 shrimp. The taste was fine but I did not eat the risotto. The French onion soup was served with a puff pastry topper, lacked cheese, and had a brown sugar taste (very sweet). This is very different from any other French onion soup recipe that I have tried. I would not order it again as it did not meet my definition of French onion soup but you can be the judge of you try it. Mixed drinks were very good. Based on plate cost, food quality, and value, I provided a rating of 2/5

Kinda hard to gauge these places as there is a wide breadth in quality for a lot of these items. My party received the crab fries and I got the fried haddock. The crab fries were excellent. Enough crab and cheese for each individual fry. I forget the specific sauce but I found myself dunking frequently. The fried haddock was light, flaky whitefish but filling. The tartar sauce was excellently tangy and refreshing. I have a feeling they make it in-house. I had two beers and the tab came out to around $40. For a Friday evening, I would call this a high quality experience to banter with friends or coworkers.

The food is on point, the faces are familiar and welcoming the atmosphere is warm and the patio is beautiful. Tonight we celebrated my mom's birthday. My parents love the fish dinner. The crab fries are my go to. This night happened to be steak night. We shared the sharing steak board special and it did not disappoint and fed 3 adults and a toddler! Desserts were yummy as well. While I get the raspberry cheesecake every chance I get if they have it, tonight we had the blueberry and banana deserts. And they were amazing! Be sure to stop in if your ever in the Bloomsburg area.

First off, we got there early and sat down at the bar for a drink before our 6p reservation. Only problem was the bar tender never acknowledged us for at least 5 minutes even though she looked right at us making drinks. Luckily one of the waitress said hello and told us the bar tender would be right with us. I assume she noticed the bar tender ignoring us. The hosted was very nice and sat us early when I let her know my wife and I were here but my friend wasn't here yet. After we sat, our waitress never checked in to see if we wanted anything as we waited for my friend. I had to wave her down to let her know we would like to order a few appetizers. The appetizers, were simply just ok....Fried Zucchini and a few meatballs. Why I ordered Chicken Parm after tasting the meatball appetizer and not really digging the sauce. I should have gotten the Chicken Marsala.... My bad on that one. Needless to say I only ate half the Chicken Parm. My wife only ate a quarter of her Eggplant Parm. My friend did enjoy his Lasagna.... So there is a plus. Not that I will be in Bloomsberg Pa anytime soon but I know if I was, Rose Marie's won't be a place I would try again. Sorry... I rarely right bad reviews... but Rose Marie's is just not that good.

When we finally saw on the highway signs for food options and that there was a Sheetz, we pulled over immediately. The whole food-made-to-order thing is pretty fantastic when you're on the road. This is especially true when you are driving through that part of the state where there is nothing for miles. Because we were traveling with our pet, we took turns hopping out of the car. When I went into this Sheetz, I placed our food order at one of the kiosks. When it was ready, a lady handed me two bags of food. Btw, the staff there that day were super friendly. My husband wanted a cold sub, so I ordered him their Veggie Sub (whole) with a Curly Fryz Cup with ketchup on the side. There are lots of options for customizing (I toasted a honey wheat roll, added both pepper jack and provolone cheese, added in cooked peppers and onions, and loaded it up with all the fresh and pickled veggies.) I was drawn in my the images on the ordering kiosk and tried one of their signature burgers (Sh'tacked Meat Sweatz) and a Cup of Fryz with Old Bay seasoning. We also split an Apps Sampler that had fried cheddar bites, jalapeno fries, and onion petals with ketchup (I added on a Buffalo Garlic dip on the side). One of my favorite memories of our road trip will be my husband, grappling this giant sub sandwich and with his mouth still full, saying "this is the best meal ever!" lol.
