It's a family run business, and the teenagers that waited on me were superior to servers that I have had in five star restaurants. I ordered the eggplant Parm dinner. It started with a salad that was fresh and crisp, and warm fresh bread. The eggplant parm was crispy and tender in exactly the right places. The sauce was tangy, and the spaghetti cooked perfectly. Gave this place another try, why do I do this to myself. We've been in lockdown since march, I'm immunocompromised so I'm not allowed out, I'm tired of the little food options I have for delivery where I live, so today we decided to try Alfredos once more after almost 10 years we tried they're very disappointing pizzas. So today we decided to get hoagies for lunch. My husband unfortunately ordered the Turkey and provolone, no veggies extra mayo. The lunchmeat was chopped of in these big thick french fries cuts, at first I thought "oh roasted turkey yummm" but upon further inspection it was nasty SPONGY SUPER CHEAP TURKEY LUNCH MEAT so gross it went straight in the garbage. I ordered a italian hoagie which was missing the hot peppers and sweet peppers had ONE slice of cheap capocola, ONE slice of salami and TWO slices of ham on yesterday's bread. We also got a plain cheesesteak which was steak-umm type meat. The cheese and gravy fries were not as bad but the gravy was tomato sauce so it was more like pizza fries which is not what I ordered. 90 minutes to get my food... the excuse was it was raining and traffic was slowly... they are 4 miles away from the hotel. Then the food was awful. I ordered Chicken alla Roma but instead of alfredo sauce it was a literally a soup...not creamy but soupy! And it tasted like chicken broth. Very good place. Atmosphere was nice, service was great, very spacious room. But the food is amazing. If there was any knock on it, it was that the vegetables in the stromboli were large, and I always like mine cut up small. But that's just me. I absolutely love this place! So glad I recently decided to try it, it is my new favorite! The decor is incredible, not at all what I expected. So much nicer than a lot of other places in Hazelton, especially other Italian restaurants. My husband and I have had their eggplant, cheesesteak, pizza, and salad and every meal has been absolutely fantastic. The portions are huge, the prices are definitely fair, and their eggplant parm was even better than the one my Great Aunt Rosie from Italy used to make :) i can't recommend them enough! read more

My boyfriend and I, on vacation, originally tried to eat at a restaurant called Martin's. After feeling like an alien on a new planet, we left and ended up here at Alfredo's. WE ARE SO HAPPY WE DID!!! After feeling super awkward from walking into Martin's(like in the movies when someone walks into a private party and they aren't supposed to be there, the record/music just scratches and stops) and walking right back out, we found Alfredo's. It was a relief walking in (over dressed) and being treated by the super friendly wait staff. We were treated like real human beings. The place was decorated really cool and had a comfortable vibe. We got lava fries and the grandma pizza. Our waitress was great(she got a 40% tip she was so amazing after how we were treated at the previous restaurant), helpful and friendly. The sauce on the pizza was obviously made from scratch that day. I wish there was a place like this in my hometown. I highly recommend this restaurant. I have to say that the food was terrible. We ordered the meat pie. I do not believe that the meat was of any good quality. It was like eating a soy meat. We complained and the service stopped altogether. The owner came to a table and told us that he used beef, veal and pork. We just must not like these things mixed together. I cook I do that mixture myself. They brought the pizza sauce out in a bowl not in the pie. After getting our bill I see that they charged us for it. We did not order it nor were we asked if we wanted it. The appetizers were not worth ordering. In all we paid $50 for beer, appitizers and two slices of pizza. I WILL NOT even give this place a small portion of a star! I do believe that they over charge for the quality of food that you receive. Their idea of bread is baked pizza dough and the food lacked EVERYTHING! went there hoping for a good meal and the minute we walked in half the restaurant was closed off used as storage should been a red flag but we stayed hoping it would be ok! Shrimp parm sub was made on that same nasty pizza dough bread and had 4 shrimp on it a large sub with 4 shrimp! The lasagna was disgusting uncooked pasta and no taste and wasnt brought out till 20 minutes after the other food, chicken parm was dry and pasta was over cooked! You're an Italian restaurant get it right! And the topper was we all got sick about 20 min after eating and called to let them know, the woman on the phone was nasty and told me I was lying! I dont live in that area but if you wanna eat crappy food and get sick have at it! They are a disgrace to Italian restaurants! My husband, mom and I stopped at Alfredos on a Sunday afternoon to grab a late lunch. There was hardly anyone in the restaurant, so we were able to enjoy the quiet atmosphere. We had quick service and completed our meal in under an hour. Our server recommended the Grandma's Pizza, which was absolutely fantastic. The garlic knots that came with our salads were also delicious! Had our experience ended at the conclusion of our meal, I would have no hesitation in giving them five stars. However, as our server came to clean up our meal, she asked my husband if he was a father (we were there on father's day). When he said no, she proceeded to aggressively ask why we did not have children and berated us about our choice to not have children. Her questions were rude and completely inappropriate, and I was horrified that she would subject a total stranger to such a thoughtless conversation. I would absolutely recommend Alfredos to anyone in the area who could order it for takeout. After our experience, delicious though it was, I don't think we'll return. read more

Took over an hour for delivery across the street from the restaurant. The meal came with a side salad and loaf of bread. It was obvious upon looking at the meal that it had been prepared and left sitting. The Alfredo sauce had broken and lacked flavor. That's an understatement there was no flavor. The salads were hot and wilted. The caprese salad had two small rectangle cuts of not fresh mozzarella and two slices of wilted slimy warm tomatoes. The dressings were watered down. First time here, probably our last. I'll set the scene: Wednesday night, not busy. When we got there maybe 4 or 5 tables in use. Two waitresses, a young man helping out. Sign days wait to be seated. After a minute our two a waitress walks by and says take a seat, I'll bring you some menus. We did get our menus and our order was taken somewhat promptly. My wife ordered the Chicken Franchise. I ordered the baked cheese ravioli and a side of meatballs. The positives: the decor was nice. The red sauce was pretty good and I'm fairly certain it was homemade. My wife thought the chicken was better than average. The not so good: If you're getting a salad, get the dressing on the side. Way over dressed. While I can't say 100%, I'm 95% sure the cheese ravioli is NOT homemade. Not that it was terrible, I just expected something homemade. The meatballs arrived lukewarm at best. Best I could tell they were homemade but they were nothing special. We saw our waitress once about 5 minutes into our meal to see if everything was ok. I decided not to complain about the temperature of the meatballs, and said yes. We did not have contact with another waitress until at least 10 minutes after we had finished our meal. No one checked on our drinks. No check in to make sure everything was still ok. And the contact we did have was with the other waitress who asked if we wanted boxes for our leftovers. She brought us boxes and then left us so we could box up the back food ourselves. As we waited for our waitress to come to our table we heard the other waitress telling another table about their desserts. One of them caught my wife's interest. After the waitress had brought our boxes I started the stopwatch on my phone. We waited another 6 1/2 minutes for our waitress and when she finally arrived she handed us our bill and told us we could pay at the counter. Never asked about dessert. Barely a thank you for stopping. My wife was not happy she was not getting dessert. When she went up to pay she told the owner she was not very happy with the service we received. Her response was she was sorry we weren't happy. That was it. She didn't ask what it was we weren't happy about, she didn't really seem to care. Bottom line: there are way better places with better service and food in Hazleton and the surrounding area to spend your money. We will not be back. read more

Love this place. Went a few times since they opened and both times were great. I recommend the fettuccine alfredo. The meatball hoagies were delicious as well. The staff is second to none. Just wish the parking situation was a bit better. We had to drive around for a long time before we could find a spot on a weekend. Once you go in the lot, you have to try and turn your car around and come back because there is only one way in and out. Maybe when the place isn't so new, they won't need all the spaces and it won't be so bad. I miss the chicken scampi from the old places. Wish it were on the menu here. :( read more

Had round pizza and the Italian Stromboli and they were both pretty good! The bone-in wings were gross though, they had a weird gray color to them and a few of them were just pieces. Most likely frozen. Service was good, our server was very friendly and efficient. Our leftover still-warm pizza was piled on top of its self in a small to-go box. Beautifully decorated, the business formerly known as Amici's located on Airport road has certainly undergone a face-lift with its large flashing sign on Church St. and the interior design of the establishment. The food has not changed, which is a good thing. On any given day you can see the staff making pizzas right behind the register. The pizza and hoagies are delicious. Funny that I'm going to have to post this comment again it because I'm pretty sure Alfredo's deleted it. In fact, there are many other negative reviews below against this place. Here it is again. Don't ever call this place for pick up orders. First, I ordered two hoagies, one cheesesteak with everything on it and the other one was a buffalo chicken. After I picked up our orders and went home. When we opened our hoagies up, it felt like a practical joke or something. My cheesesteak absolutely had nothing in it, not even cheese on it and brother's buffalo chicken was a cooked frozen piece of chicken with a few drops buffalo sauce and some cheese are so on it. After we were hysterically laughing at ours hoagies for a few minutes. I called them up to complain about my hoagie. Oh boy, I can't describe to you guys how insolent and clueless this lady was on the phone. She arrogantly told me that I did order a plain cheesesteak and that "there is nothing she could do". After a few moments of trying to convince her, I cursed her out due to her arrogance and hung up the phone while she was still yelling at me. After that, I tried to eat my very plain no-CHEESEsteak, which I went to my fridge to add something I could add on it. I could not finish it so my brother's dog ate the rest. read more

I had to actually ask a waitress if someone was going to help us. There was 3 tables occupied including us and 3 waitresses and it's like the staff had not one clue what was going on.
